The creature, reeling at this point because most of it's substance has been hacked, burned, or stabbed away, lashes out once more, but this time at Gregor since he's the only visible threat which has hit him recently.

Seeing Klor pop back into existence makes Trib smile, but he winces a little when Gregor takes it on the chin, Stepping in, aiming at the creatures legs Trib slashes away with his rapier.

Actually you've been skirting the courtyard in a CW direction. Next up you can either take a hallway out of the courtyard of continue on to the next door on the courtyard wall.

Next door on the courtyard wall.
There are 14 large barrels lining the walls of this room. Everything is coated in a layer of grime which seems to consist of equal parts dust and mold.

Maria detects magic on the barrels and the grime, and uses the Prestidigitation cantrip to clean them up before trying to opening them.

seeing Maria cast a cleaning spell on the barrels Trib says "Well that should help yeah?" as he begins to carefully look at the barrels to see if they are safe to touch.
he will take 10 (24/28) looking for mold or traps, if he sees nothing he will begin opening barrels
The gunk over the barrels comes off, but it does take quite a while.
The barrels are mostly empty, one reveals a tunnel going down inside.

trib nods, then removes a piece of chalk from his pocket, showing It to Maria, then he begins to pick at the edge of his robe finally working loose a piece of twine he ask, "Hold on ta this please, I will use it to pull myself along as I levitate, an trust me I won't take any chances, yeah" he quickly hops into the mouth of the barrel, rapier in one hand and twine in the other and allows himself to float down. Keeping a keen eye out.

You find that the tunnel leads out of the monastery to a concealed exit among a clutch of thorn bushes. Along the way you kill an ankheg with a stern glance (CR 3, not worth the time).

after carefully searching the next door he opens it and looks inside.
Next room: The old wine press room is not in good shape. After centuries it is still filled with an almost unbearable stench of fermentation gone rampant. There are six large vats, several strainers and two wine presses. Three very large wine barrels, each enough to hold 300 gallons, are lying on their sides on a rack against the west wall.
This room is rather like the pervious one with everything covered with that moldy grime.

It is in ruin, with baking tables dumped over and most of the wooden utensils broken and scattered about. There are a number of ovens corresponding to the placement of the chimneys along the walls of the room. They appear to be quite run down from age.
There are three rotted rat carcasses strewn about the room.

trib kicks one of the rat carcasses on his way out, "Back ta tha courtyard, yeah" as he toddles back out to the courtyard he goes to the next door checking it quickly assuming it is trap or lock free then opens it up.

You open into what looks to have been an infirmary. There are four cots against the north wall, with tables and chairs in the center of the room. On one of the tables is a clay urn.
On the cots are some people, who appear to be moaning and thrashing about some. There are 3 men and a woman. They don't look so good.
