"No."

Ooh, badly phrased question. I have to answer honestly, not thoroughly. ;P

"No one. I could not be involved in something that did not happen."

Fieri frowned.

"Who was responsible for Ephebe's poisoning?"

"I hate ghosts I really, really do." Asch mutters darkly.

"Nala was a pawn. Her use was over. I framed her for the crime, used compulsion magic to force two of her thralls to impersonate staff members, possessed a student in order to manufacture the poison, and had one of the thralls put it in her food, with the other one waiting to finish her in the infirmary if the poison was not enough."

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

"Just so we're clear, spirit, my companions attacking you will not break my hold on you. You are not charmed, you are controlled, as if I had created you myself. I could order you to stand there and let them blast you into non-existence with holy spells. I should like you to be more cooperative, do you understand?"

in response to "I was. I am sorry the results were not more permanent."

He smiled slyly.

"I understand."

Male Dhampir Champion of Darkness, Order of the Gunslinger initiate

"Oh I could get behind that." Asch said as he loaded a shell into his caster.

Ephebe-Spin walks over to Krays, whispering in his ear, "Ask him how to kill him so he won't come back."

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

"Why do you persist in un-death? Do you not wish to rest?"

Krays wrote:

"I seek vengeance against my murderer and her vermin spawn."

::No, that's the wrong question! Krays needs to ask the question exactly as you phrased it to him. It's important.::

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

Looks at Ephbe-Spin
"I don't think we'd like to accomodate that"

"Who is your murderer?"

BPs: 32/32 :: Status: Unharmed :: Dodge 18; Soak 21

Ephebe-Spin nudges Krays's shoulder, indicating the kobold needs to ask the specific question.

The exact question! GET IT RIGHT!!!!!

"Who is your murderer?"

"Rylehtin'akksavith," he hissed, seething with frustrated hatred.

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

Stumbles a bit, and looks confused
"What?! Oh..well it'll only...<sigh> ok."

"What must we do to destroy you permenantly? How do we kill you so you won't come back? Answer as thuroughly as possible"

Spin wrote:

Well, I could just let you guys destroy him blindly, but now that the gloves are off that would likely result in several deaths next time. At least this way you can't say I didn't give you plenty of hints. ;P

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

sounds like 'Ryleh in Black Sabbath' :P

The ghost laughed without mirth. "You can't. Only another Hunter can send me to my rest, and they would not do such a thing before the dragons are destroyed."

"Really? Any Hunter?"

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

Smiles
"That's good to know."

Looks at Spin-Ephebe
"Satisfied? It's you he's hunting..."

BPs: 32/32 :: Status: Unharmed :: Dodge 18; Soak 21

"What does another hunter need to do to destroy you entirely? Again.. in specific."

Spin wrote:

He would have gritted his teeth if he hadn't been incorporeal. "Strike me through the heart with a bladed weapon capable of harming a ghost.....wait...you're not....?" He looked quizzically at Ephebe/Spin as if he were unsure what he was really seeing.

BPs: 32/32 :: Status: Unharmed :: Dodge 18; Soak 21

Ephebe-Spin whispers to Krays, "How long can you hold him here? We may need to get some help to finish him off now. I don't want this guy coming back to haunt me." THe way he says 'me' indicates he's thinking of the real Ephebe.

Lysander laughs out loud after a moment. It is a strange laugh.

Draconic:
"Are you think what I think your thinking, Krays?"

Draconic:
"I am indeed, Hunter. H'Tor's weapon is capable of such a feat, and will grant you it's use."

BPs: 32/32 :: Status: Unharmed :: Dodge 18; Soak 21

I don't think that he's thinking what i'm beginning to think you think I'm thinking.

I'm okay with that.

Lysander leaps from his and lands without a sound on the ground far below. With that strange, blade-less hilt at the ready, he seems to be waiting for something.

"I'm Lysander." He says with a an accent. "A Sandwalker." He continues, naming his Hunter Clan.

The ghost gets that 'oh shit' look as he realizes the implications, given the bad blood between the Sandwalkers and the Shadowstrikes. He mentally cursed the lack of thoroughness of his mortal counterparts.

"You must hate me. But surely even with that you would not...not while our Prey yet lives!"

Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death

"Yes I do, and stop calling me Shirley!" <rimshot>

Fieri looks confused.

She has no idea who Lysander is. She gets her info from Jiminy. He leaves bits out.

Male Pygmy Slurk

Slarrow watches the encounter blankly.
*Ribbit*

Would Lysander have any way of recognizing right away if someone was a Hunter or not?

F Sylph

Jeez. I'm on tour for less than a week and...'316 new posts.' lulz. Can't say I'm surprised.

We were wondering where you disappeared to... ;P

Welcome back, Nasima.

narrator wrote:

I was about to say he couldn't, but then I remembered how I was remaking him and the theme I was using. So yeah, he can feel when one get's close.

"My Prey, your Prey.. vastly different."

Male Dhampir Champion of Darkness, Order of the Gunslinger initiate

I just assumed those rascally aliens abducted you.

Welcome back, don't mind the insanity, as you know it's always like that here. :)

Lysander Sandwalker wrote:

"But you are a Hunter!" the ghost protested. "It is the first responsibility of all Hunters to end the existence of those vile dragons."

"Hunters started as assassins.. no one paid me." Lysander says slowly.

Lysander Sandwalker wrote:

"And who pays an assassin who doesn't finish the job?" the ghost said desperately. "As long as the dragons live our people have no honor."

"Honor.. from assassins? Who could pay us? Stuck in this world? We're forgotten."

Male Dhampir Champion of Darkness, Order of the Gunslinger initiate

Asch stands quiet while Lysander and ythe ghost talk. His hands tightening on the grips of his guns.

Ephebe-Spin seems to struggle with something as Lysander and the possessed student talk about their Hunter issues. Her mind wrestles to uncover something in what he said… something that might be crucial.

I never was good at puzzles… then the idea strikes home. His heart…

Ephebe interrupts, "You said a Hunter must drive a specific blade into your heart. Where is your heart? Does it move with you - capable of entering other bodies? Or the heart you had when you had a living body?"

Lysander Sandwalker wrote:

"Foolish boy. Honor and reputation are the most important things for an assassin. Forgotten? Maybe, but we can remind them. Once the dragons are dead. The ones who hired our order...they have long memories. Many of them still live."

"The heart I had when I had a living body was incinerated along with the rest of me. My ghostly body is arranged much as my living one was and no I cannot separate pieces of me."
