Just my opinion, but maybe we should wait for Lyn or DB3 to confirm that we can do morning stuff, just to be on the safe side.

This. SO much this. DO NOT move to a new day without GM approval please. It makes my life ridiculously hard. A little patience goes a long way towards making game play smoother for everyone. For those I see who already moved on w/out approval, those actions have not happened yet and will be summarily ignored please. Thank you.
Miss Jones |
Having made sure that the room was secure, Miss Jones prepared to contact the mind of the patient. She pulled a chair up next to the bed where the student was strapped down and very carefully tried to contact his mind(s)

Miss Jones |
Edit Her mind finds a barrier around his mind, like a fortress wall it is daunting but not impenatrable
She searches the barrier looking for an opening until she finds a way inside, trying to observe his thoughts without him being aware of her presence.
Miss Jones |
After she discovers a hairline crack she glimpses a roiling storm of chaotic emotions no comprehendable rational thoughts at this level
She pressed on, searching through his mind. She didn't like having to invade his personal privacy to such an extent, but there was no other way to diagnose what was causing his problems and he had certainly demonstrated that he was a danger to himself and others.
Treisdan Achdarach |
As she pushes through the crack the maelstrom draws her in to such an extent that her mental body is pulled from her physical one.
She lands outside a blasted castle on a ruined landscape, the iron doors are hanging on rusted broken hinges and are halfway open
Miss Jones |
She sighed. "I really do hate unplanned excursions."
She picked her way carefully forward, heading inside the blasted castle.
Treisdan Achdarach |
The tapestries on the wall were once beautiful and exquisit, now they are twisted imitations of their former selves, the doorways to either side are blocked hastily with rubble and barred.
there is a firelike light coming from the door at the end of the hall.
Miss Jones |
This place was unpleasant in her opinion. She liked things nice and neat and tidy. Things were less disturbing when organized into neat little boxes. She went down the hall towards the door, picking her way through the debris. She attempted to go through the door.
Treisdan Achdarach |
Inside the room stands a man, surrounded by wisps of black smoke is a tall man who wears a flaming crown, holds a rod of flame and weilds a sword of hot ash. he spots you through the doorway.
"You could do it... possibly. but why should I, Marchovius, King of Killers, Why should I allow you entry into the chamber of the king of kings?"
Rosa.Luminass.. |
5 souls... but he cant do anything/cant sense anything so he doesnt know. and BTW: your violent and insane.... what treisdan would think... I think it is hilarious
Rosa is not "violent and insane" Rosa is violent and very very very sane, she has a WILL stat over 50, and shes a Robot, she is at all time logical, just because the logic it complex dos no mean it is not there.
Miss Jones |
She hesitated. She usually observed only. Nudged a little. It was very rare for her to speak in a mental projection. It was harder to control her mental voice than her physical one. This was proving to be a problem case.
Her voice is beautiful beyond belief and oddly compelling.
"Because I am here as a healer, and he is in dire need of a healer at present."
Treisdan Achdarach |
I know the words you speak are true, else you would taste the fires of hell, that once tormented me... You may pass, If you can convince the others. You shall meet the king.
With this the man explodes into fire and smoke and with a giant boom disappears, leaving the air bone dry and the floor scorched.
A door grows out of the wall and cracks open

Having made sure that the room was secure, Miss Jones prepared to contact the mind of the patient. She pulled a chair up next to the bed where the student was strapped down and very carefully tried to contact his mind(s)
EDITret-con
It was Miss Jones, rosa talked to in the room over Treisdan bed, Rosa nods when Miss Jones seeks the room to be secure, holding a very big gun sword Rosa asks the other staff to go outside with her and she closes the door, then standing in front of it keeps it that way.Note: Rosa can not hear TP, so she can not hear the screams of the minds within the room, good thing really. hehe
Treisdan Achdarach |
The second room is not a room at all, but a landscape filled with mist and trees, vague shapes and half seen pictures that dissolve when your mind registers them.
a voice directly behind you speaks in a growling purr.
"What is your purpose here trespasser? this is not your mind. this is not your battle or your fight... why are you here?"
Upon turning you see a Tiger, that shifts into a Rakasha, that shifts into a noble looking man, that becomes Rakasha, then tiger.
2nd Soul... G2G again... finish tomorrow...
Miss Jones |
Once again she was forced to speak, her voice wrapping around the listener's mind and making everything she said sound like the best idea ever.
"I am a healer. This mind is in need of healing. He is my student, therefore it is my responsibility to heal him."
Treisdan Achdarach |
"no, You did not come into his mind to heal him, you came in to heal the one you think is good, the one you choose, you are going to do what you think is best. Not heal."
The man/tiger/rakasha is completely unphased by her voice
"prove to me you truely want the best for this person. Not just want what you think is best for him."
the tiger waves his hand and an Iron Maiden appears beside him
"get in, and close the door on yourself."
Ms. Jones knows that damage to your mental form can cause irreversible harm to the psyche.
Miss Jones |
MIss Jones tsked impatiently.
"I am not an idiot, young man," she said scornfully. "And I know more about what is best for him than you understand."
She took off her glasses, closed them neatly and placed them in the pocket of her suit jacket. She reached behind her head and began to pull pins from her hair. The books had it wrong. Her kind didn't exert control over the wind and waves. They carried them around inside. As within, so without.
The song that surrounded her nearly silently rose in volume with each pin the was removed reaching a crashing crescendo as her hair finally came free of its knot. As that happened. And with it came an unbidden memory, difficult to see, like watching an echo through a rain-soaked window.
A ragged man huddled in a cage made of branches lashed together with vines. A small pair of hands reached through the bars of the cage and handed the man a leaf cup full of water. He stammered his gratitude as he eagerly drank. A woman's laugh. The eyes turned from the ragged man to the dark-haired beauty. "Come here, Calliope," she said, shaking her head. "You mustn't play with the food."
The memory disappeared and a large wave crashed into the iron maiden, erasing it as if it had never been.
"I did not come here to fight. I am here as a healer. If he cannot make peace with himself, he will destroy himself. He has already badly damaged himself."
Treisdan Achdarach |
The man laughs at her memory and words
"You are quite proud, but by refusing you have shown that you cannot bend your knees, you are too proud. you believe that you know best. I am Haures, the Dreaming Duke.
you destroyed my illusion and with it your hope of my support. Pray that one day you learn that you are not all-knowing and you learn wisdom. I am old beyond age, and you are but an instant in the flow of time."
the Rakasha fades from veiw and the mist clears, leaving her in an empty room with one door.
Tyrrin Denulia |
Tyrrin had resumed her normal form. The slight headache that infusing herself with that much magic power gave her was annoying, but nothing beyond that. After directing the cleanup, she returns to her observatory. Her telescope was near completion, after four months of work. She needed a powersource, but the school's grid should provide enough for both mundane and magical power needs.
She probably wouldn't sleep again tonight. But it was better than the dreams.
Fei, of the Sun Soul |
Vai swallows her tears - as she has many times before. She takes several more deep breaths before a whispered: "Thank you Fei. I'm okay now." she stands up straight and pushes the hair out of her face. "I'm sorry, sir." she says to Ace, just a little hoarsely.
Ace waves Vai off "Tis fine my dear. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to bed."
As Vai was already in a most unusual state, Fei said nothing more to Ace and let him leave without further issue. As he seemed not to acknowledge his presence at all, which was itself a bit odd, he deemed this the wisest course of action to take. Vai's discomfort was more important to him at the moment than this new student's vanity.
Vai felt very safe at that moment. Fei had stepped in between her and Ace, deliberitly to protect her. The thought gave her a warm sensation, she smiled shyly at Fei, hoping to forget the earlier ugliness.
The young monk does not turn back around until he has left the Cafeteria, and in fact watches him with an almost palpable focus until he is out of sight. He then sighs and turns to Vai.
"What...happened here?" he asks simply.
Miss Jones |
"I hate dealing with ancient spirits," she snarled. "Always so convinced they have all the answers that they can't accept a new idea and preaching on and on about how others lack wisdom for not seeing things their way. I reject your 'wisdom' as I rejected the wisdom of Theliokos. You do not know me."
She took a moment to focus on breathing. It was important to stay centered. She considered replacing her bindings. It was dangerous to go forward as she was. She was, after all, a born predator. She could already feel her teeth getting sharper. But this place...it required some wildness to navigate. She left things as they were and moved forward.
Treisdan Achdarach |
the door gives way to a void, It is as if you had stepped into the heart of space, nothing streaches in every direction...
::Did it ever occur to you that maybe your wisdom, is how he got into this mess:: a thousand thousand voices all echo inside your head as a figure 10' tall comes into being in front of you. He wears robes that are extravagent in the extreme and stands with a regal bearing 90 degrees off kilter... he is standing on what is your left instead of the floor his head is a giant conglomeration of faces and he is wearing a crown of gold
Miss Jones |
"I do not know which 'you' you are referring to. He was already in this mess before I met him. I still have not met him. I was called in as a healer. To help. It is what I do. It is my atonement."
