Have you set up a recruitment thread for this one yet? Or are we just going to kick everything off here?

I'm thinking of running a human caster of some sort, still deciding on the class. I want her to be exotic and strange, kind of like Calypso in the Pirates of the Caribbean. I may even go with witch, but I'm liking oracle.

Also, the link in my PM didn't link to this thread. I had to find this one through your post list.

Actually, I might use this character with a little change up. It was meant for a kingmaker game but wasn't selected because it's a female character. The backstory will of course be the biggest change. I may also switch up some traits. Other than that I think she's ready to go.

As for the linking, you can do this:

See up in the url window of your browser on the page you want to link to? Just higlight and copy that. It should look like this:

On the page you want to link FROM, just put down (without any spaces):

Then after the equal sign put in the url you copied of the page you want to send people TO. Such as:

Well, I also have an elf slayer, a human girl bard/dervish dancer, a tian human monk/alchemist, maybe one of these can do.

Well, I only picked this character because it was already made. I have had this idea floating around for a halfling warpriest. If you want to run a swash, I could always try and make that character instead.

Hi, guys! I'm afraid I can't join in the fun at present, but I may be able to do so in a few weeks, depending on various circumstances and the grace of our illustrious GM Sunset. I thought I'd post with my likely character alias, though, for comparison sake.

Since Camris is wanting to use his swashbuckler, I'm probably going to change my class and all. I may bring in a wizard from a Jade Regent game that died. She was fun to play. Is the sylph race ok?

The Sylph race is quite all right as a playable race.

This is the profile for the sylph I wanted to bring in.

I doubt relations would work into her backstory very well, though I suspect her backstory will have to change a tiny bit to fit the adventure.

The sea isn't exactly the place for a timid girl who accidentally murdered her arranged-wedding fiancé and is on the run from bounty hunters sent by her parents, now is it?

It would be a good way to loose said bounty hunters.

I enjoy playing this character because of how traumatized she is.

Over the course of the first book of Jade Regent, she went from being ridiculously timid, apologizing for everything, and being afraid of every shadow, to being somewhat independent and mentally stable. She even fell in love with another PC. Said PC was brutally killed right in front of her as soon as they both realized their feeling for one another. In the fight with the sinspawn, her air shield wasn't strong enough, and the monster made it through with a critical hit, which the PC jumped in front of. She watched the spawn shove its claws through the PC's chest and out of his back, and tear him open.

Of course, that messed her up, but she finally decided to take his last words to heart and stop living in fear, and try to protect the group of people she was adventuring with.

That's when the thing fell apart, so I'm going to play her as just leaving that campaign and being in magnimar, once again on the run and trying to live her life.

Now, now, I didn't mean to chase someone off of a character concept for yourself.
While I'm on a Swashbucker kick right now, that is not the only character I can play.

So... should I open the gates to more players? Or do people think they can handle things with the three of you?

I must admit, when I have the opportunity, I can add posts quite quickly (We'll see how combat goes >_> ) am working on -if not usable maps- at least a ways of providing images for people to have an idea of what is about. :)

Camris and... um Apex are okay with each other's classes etc.

You're character is in Magnamar which, while a cosmopolitan city, is still not quite monster friendly.

Perhaps a cloak? Or a description of walking along other than a road? Kobolds are small, right? They'll fit into different types of spaces? (^_~)
