Sorry about the swarm guys. I will say that this is the only swarm on my encounter tables. Blame the dice.
This should serve as your reminder that acid flasks are only 10 GP, all of you should carry at least 5 at all times. No matter what character you are playing, the cost of a single first level potion can make the difference between life and death when a swarm pops up. Good luck!

No worries. Running is good.
1 point of splash damage x 1.5 = 1. If I recall the combat I was in this past Monday, we'd need about 70-80 flasks (give or take) to kill it, lol. Luckily the Witch had a couple of fireballs. Even so, the Con damage and disease on, I think it was 3-4 of us, required a return to base camp.
And thanks for putting this thread in to show up in our Campaigns page.

They both do 1d6 on a direct hit. It's the splash damage that sits at a single 1. Still maybe it would work to scare them off.
Next purchase should be high DDT bug repellant.

Just an update. I'll be away on vacation from the 14th (Friday) to the 23rd (Sunday) of this month. I'm doubtfull I'll be near internet then, so feel free to 'bot' me during that period.

I just realized that I neglected to include my Claw attacks on my character sheet until now.
I get them as a free evolution and can use them as part of a full attack, but at a -5 penalty and with only half my strength bonus going to damage.

Rosa, in another game I am applying for I wish to use an intelligent weapon to cast True Strike like you have; however, my GM is stating that it would not work owing to the spell being 'personal' and thus would apply the sword's attacks, not mine.
Could I ask for the rules you have justifying yours?
Thanks.

The sword doesn't technically make attacks, but I said it was okay. I ruled out Shield working on the wielder though for example, because the sword does have an AC of its own. The rules are a little vague there in my opinion, so it's gonna be a DM by DM basis.
Is there somewhere it specifically says that intelligent weapons can't cast personal spells at all? If so I wasn't aware of it when I made that call.

Its not the personal part its the fact that True Strike should affect the sword not you, and the sword isn't actually making an attack; its being used by the wielder.
Nothing explicit, just what many people seem to think in the forums i've looked at.

I think ill change Rosa on this, it was left over form a PnP game Jelani DMed. There is a mad work around but its takes feats and stuff. As the sword has a mind then yes TS works on it not the one holding the word, so its BAB should be added not the users etc. Now if it was a familiar and they get to share spells BOTH ways then no problem. Bonded object as well you hit the same problem.
So ill change the spell, it was a toss up any way with overcompensation
witch is very nice
Or Enlarge Person, nice to have her 32' high next time we go in the keep.
| Rosa Luminass |
I had her down as Monstrous Humanoid that would work but that's not Rosa, shes an outsider so I am shifting her back to that, Yes that spell and ones like it will not work on her, but I do not care that's what she is.
Alter self will make her big but its 2ed level so that can wait Ill have a rethink about the spell. Enlarge sucks for her any way as take 2AC off her for Dex and size, and shes still moving at 20' a round.

I'm back from vacation now. A bit backed up at work though so it my posting may be absent or erratic over the next couple of days as I also try to catch up on all the posts of the games I'm in.
In this case, luckily DM Jelani's heading out on vacation as it allows me to take my time going through the 100+ gameplay posts, lol.

Because you guys are just standing around talking. Are you gonna rest here? If not "we need to find someplace to rest" doesn't give me enough to go on. Where are you going to rest? Travel a few miles then stop? Walk a few hundred yards?
The only thing that's been agreed on is that you can't stay near the fire and the route for heading back.

Out much lived Puppy.
Well GM I did a search under dog www.d20pfsrd.com and got this
when we picked little puppy up with his side little eyes and waggy tail
and low it dos not have him down as 3pp check its ture, so if it is 3pp shame on them not me, I had it down as cannon.
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/animals
so your puppy has to be a riding dog, well its you game you can say he has to be a Chawaooa if you like nothing I can do about that.
Puppys job was to be a Guard dog, thats what I wanted, all 25gp of one
just spotted the Bull and felt that fitted with Rosa.
So if you going to take Puppy the Bull of us could we have Puppy the Guard dog, as I wanted a god with
1 "sent"
2 "Look master its that way i can hear it."
So barking and pointing was its job from the get go.
Now fighting, that what hell hounds are for.
:)

It's one full round action, aka standard+move. Since Rosa started casting it in the surprise round where she only had a standard action available, she needed to use her round 1 move action to finish it.
Since you started casting Summon Eidolon in round 1, it will finish right before you act in round 2. You'll have your full amount of actions available for round 2, with your eidolon bound.
