Star Wars: Chronicles is a Star Wars RPG campaign using the Edge of the Empire/Age of Rebellion/Force and Destiny rules from Fantasy Flight Games (https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/#/universe/star-wars).

The concept of this campaign is episodic (taking place after the Battle of Yavin, during the time of the Episode 4-6 movies), similar to the style of the Star Wars: Rebels television series. The characters will be making a living for themselves any way they can as well as taking the odd job from the Rebel Alliance to further the aims of the Rebellion.

Map is in my title bar above now. Red are empire troops. The 6 point stars are storm trooper squads with the number being the number of members. The 4 point stars are Sergeants. The pentagons are officers in the control tower. The arrow is the repeating blaster team. The arrow is the direction the gun is pointing, it takes time (rounds) to change firing arcs. The triangle is the Verpine prisoners. The orange diamond is the Quarren and his group of technicians. You are at the green star. Note: the squad in the pilot's room is leaving the bay and moving into the rec room. The TIEs are hanging from the catwalk. The Mon Cal freighter on the left sits unattended, its loading ramp down. The landing gear keeps the ship suspended about one meter above ground, so you can crawl underneath if you want. The black/gray boxes are cargo crates, etc that can act as cover. The large X in the floor is a ship elevator to other levels.

Could work or may cause a jump in security awareness. Maybe if the alarm happened at the same time as your "assault" it would at least split or confuse the reaction forces.

Looking to me as if the Mon Cal ship may be the most easily accessible of getaways but we might be tailed by the other ship that has weapons. Not to mention probably also tailed outside of this station, we could try and take both using the enemies as an escort to sort of do a showing of escorting a prisoner ship if we wanted...

I don't think that will work. Once we are seen, and we will be - there's a lot of bad guys in there - the shooting will start, and then anyone outside the station will know what's up.

I thought about stealing a TIE fighter as an escort, but TIEs can't hit hyperspace, so we be leaving someone behind.

Don't forget the Quarren will know us right away as rebels, or at least rebel sympathizers. Rescuing the Verpine seems like it should go in hand with catching the freighter as they are next to each other.

My thought: I could stealth up to the catwalk, and take over the gun. I do have 4G in Gunnery. That way I can cover you. If Juviest has any stealth, maybe he takes down the two officers in the control room? Thrask can lead the group around to our right, taking down the first squad there. From there, the group moves to the freighter, dealing with the squad and the Verpine there before 'commandeering'
(nautical term, points for the movie reference) the ship.

Then we blast out and hit hyperspace.

Easy.

Question: does the gunner squad count as 1 "target" for the purposes of the Misdirect force power?

they are three separate persons unfortunately. You would also need to move to short range as they are at medium.

Hmm... We're in space suits, right? Is there a way we can shut down life support systems in the bay? That would take care of almost everyone.

Reluctant to suggest it in-character, as it's quite bloodthirsty and not very Djebelle; but if it saves a firefight where we're outnumbered and outgunned, worth a thought.

Whoops, final days in handing in reports at uni, so I hadn't checked this since Tuesday. Kara's plan sounds pretty great, but I'm guessing we can also try and commandeer the ship as fast as possible, then gun our way through the TIEs.

Arannis could certainly do one of the stealth stuff (he has BGYY in Stealth). Maybe the control room with the two officers? He might need some support or he might not, depending on the dice though.

I do not have access to the books at the moment, but he has shock gloves (Damage 3, Disorient 1, Knockdown, Stun 3) and a vibroknife (Damage 3+1, Pierce 2, Vicious 1). Would they be useful in taking care of the two officers somewhat quietly?

I can't log into Orokos without getting directed to a donate screen. While normally I don't mind donating to a site that is helpful to me, I prefer to have a choice. Anyone else having this issue?

I think I'll stick with moving towards the shuttle's open entrance. Getting there is the first priority, if there are no targets, Juviest would just sprint straight to the point.

Hello.

A bit of an explanation for my lack of posting.

See, in a few months' time, I am getting... What is the colorful way of putting it? Ah, yes. Hitched. I am getting hitched. And although a few months should provide ample time for all the necessary preparations, it seems that such is not the case. See, both I and the ball-and-chain-to-be (I kid of course) are docs and our schedules are... well... let us go with erratic. Thus, with the holidays providing some much needed free time we set out to take care of things. Preferably all the things. Eh... Not possible. Still, quite a few of the things have been taken care of.

Still, happy occasion that it is and all? Bloody draining and at times annoying too. And the more demanding the PbP, the more difficult I find it to post something coherent.

Things do seem to calm down though, so I should start showing signs of... heh... improvement.

Anyway, just thought to keep you in the loop as it were.

Hmm...curious question as I'm now a bit confused. Squid Boy in the shuttle we are around or no? Plus I'm beside Juviest at the moment and the map doesn't show it since I stimmed him. If we are at the shuttle that is not with the squid, then Thrask has time to get vibrosword...if we are at the one with the squid, then Thrask doesn't have such time as there is a squid to murder.
