Just wanted to state that while I concur with Micha's suggestion I'd prefer we'd handle loot distribution OOC.

Had a game recently where folks decided it would be wise to divide loot based on RP and it sorta ended up in a slug fest with people making up all kinds of odd motives for their characters to want the most powerful item in the stash...

That's fine by me, how you choose to divvy loot is up to the party, but feel free to vie for items in character too.

Alistair has put in his bid for the dagger, does anybody else have their eyes upon any of the items or loot?

I don't wish to claim anything until we know exactly what it all is.

The potions and alchemist's fire should be kept. Illyri is keeping the identification papers and the ring for...reasons. But I doubt anyone else wants those.

The only thing Illyri would really want is the dagger, but she already has 2 masterwork daggers and shouldn't be that greedy.

The silver compass could be useful at some point. Someone should take that.

Also, what is on the parchment?

Avicia will take the silver compass (if no objects), nothing else though besides her share of the gold...

If you'd prefer to wait until you're in closed quarters, taking 20's on checks and whatnot, I'll give a type up of what the items are and their properties once you retire to your rooms or to a singular room for treasure splitting.

It has been quite some time since we have heard from Chierak. I messaged him on the 16th of April, but have not heard back from him yet. I will ask the group, what would you like to do in regards to his character?

give him 1 day, if he has disappeared I know quite a few players who would join up. I am running a Xen'drik campaign at the moment after all.

I was looking forward to the goblin dynamics, but I understand that life happens and sometimes games slip away.

I was looking forward to seeing his character too, but oh well. It also sucks because I lost my most promising flanking buddy.

I say we open up recruitment to replace his role or let Avicia find one among the people who would like to join.

It does stink, he seemed all about this game at first.

We definetly need a strong frontliner though, a replacement would be necessary.

I don't think we should deduct the items people's take, I say spread around what people need and split the rest.

I will open up the recruitment thread again to replace Chierak. If anybody has friends or players that they would like to join us, submissions with support from a current player will carry more weight. I am fine with mixed races/classes, but if you have preferences for either I will take them into consideration when selecting a new recruit.

We'll slow things up a bit while we wait for the recruit so I can decide if I'm culling them from the Doorstep or the Boilers. What are everybody's thoughts/opinions so far?

I don't really have any opinions yet because I'm waiting to see complete submissions.

Oh, I'm enjoying it! Sucks we lost a player already, though, but that's the way it goes. I'm excited to get going and see how the quest is going to go. We need to all voice how we want to handle the loot and get that settled, though.

Wellllll... Alistair wants to have any item kept not counted against an individuals share of the loot since it potentially benefits the group. I personally think that it should count against their share of the loot. No one else has weighed in on that topic so we kinda need to come to a decision on how it's going to be handled.

Personally my vote is with Alistair, take what you want/need, divvy the rest, but I'm not the one getting a share here. I believe in style and flavor over balance, so there are going to be trinkets beyond what a first or second level character would normally come across. The world economy doesn't care that you are still green.

Ok. Even though my character stole it, the ring should come out of my share but I am not sure what it is in or out of character. Other than that, I have no other claims.

The match set of rings should be kept though.

Seems like the majority agree with Alistair. I think that the cure light wounds potion, the acidic fire flasks, and the paired rings should be kept within the group.

OK, I'm working out the loot so is there anything else that anyone wants to keep? Do you want to exchange the dragonshards for gold or keep them as dragonshards?

Cool, cool, sounds good. Seems like you'd get more use outta the dagger Illyri, and maybe let me have one of your old ones. I could get some use outta one of those acid/fire flasks too, first level wizards aren't swimming in spells.

I was waiting for loot to be distributed and hopefully picking up a replacement character. As of right now there is one applicant in the recruitment thread.

Avicia, how would you like to handle your goings on? They can really continue for as long as you wish up into the next day.

Avicia is going to do everything she can to make sure that she gets on the dwarf's good side... One night without rest is well worth the payoff she in mind...
