Fishpork moves cautiously along the narrow (to him) dock towards your ship, eyeing you warily as he reaches the gangplank. He has a large gaff hoof held in one hand and looks to be planning on using it to pull you off the ship for him to kill.
The party may now take their actions. If you are using ranged I will count them before melee attacks.

Markizio Voralius |

The magus, blade in hand, warned the others, "That's a very long weapon so be careful when closing in on big ugly there."
he then motioned with his hand and a black ray shot and hit squarely on the creature's chest. The giant visibly faltered and his step became wobbly for a second.

Is there any chance that Markizio's crit didn't just obliterate Fishpork? Holy cow.... Assuming there's anything left of the giant:
Kung, even in his rage, pauses briefly to admire the sparks and smoke that jump from the immediately cauterized wound in the giant's side. "Fancy man make fancy strike too," is all that he's able to put into words, but his admiration is palpable.
Seemingly before he's even had time to utter those words of admiration, Kung's greatsword is already swinging at what remains of Fishpork, apparently without concern for whether life still flows in the giant's veins.

Is there any chance that Markizio's crit didn't just obliterate Fishpork? Holy cow.... Assuming there's anything left of the giant:
That's the beauty of x3 crit weapons; when the hit, they hit hard. :) I actually burned a feat to be able to use the falcata but I think it was worth it. I even forgot to add the shocking burst part of the blade to the attack above which would have added 1d6+2d10 to the damage (if the crit hit).

GM_DBH |

Silence falls over the docks as Markizio performs a triple somersault with a pike, ending the final challenge with a slice that opens up Fishpork from throat to crotch. An awed whisper goes around "Look at the shirt on him, not a ruffle out of place!"
With all three challenges passed Tsadok Goldtooth manages to fake an almost believable smile. Raising his arms and proclaims that you are indeed deserving of becoming Free Pirates of the Shackles, which receives boisterous cheers from the crowd.
Tsadok further announces that Hurricane King Kerdak Bonefist himself will grant you your letter of marque this very evening. This announcement receives significantly less applause, suggesting that the current Hurricane King may not be as popular as many outsiders believe.
After you finish the Testing, you are invited to attend a feast that evening at the Hurricane King’s fortress, Fort Hazard. When you arrive, the revelry is already in full swing: tables are laden with roast meat and flagons of ale, mead, and rum, and loud, drunken buccaneers swagger
and stagger around the main hall.
Hurricane King Kerdak Bonefist presides over the revelry from his gold-chased, teakwood throne. A blustery man with long black hair and beard, Bonefist looks more pirate than king, forgoing his crown and royal regalia for the long coat and tricorne hat of a sea captain. A tankard of rum rarely leaves his hand, but his most noteworthy features are his magic pistol and his skeletal right hand, the source of his sobriquet. Already well into his cups, the Hurricane King blearily stares down at you as you are brought forth for introductions.
Bonefist repeatedly roars for silence, only to be ignored, so he finally resorts to firing his pistol into the air to establish a deathly silence after its thunderous echo fades. He glares fierily about the hall until, with an apparent change of mood, he smiles and speaks in a calm voice.
“This fresh catch of scallywags want to add their fine ship to our brethren o’ the sea,” he says, erratically waving his still smoking pistol towards you. “But before I award their letter of marque and make them Free Captains right and true, I say we hear from them.”
Bonefist turns his dark gaze upon you. “What say you tell us all a tale or two of how you came by the plunder in your hold?” The inebriated pirates draw closer to hear you speak.
A standard Infamy check is needed here. DC29 to impress the gathered pirates, but everyone can join in and add the person doing the check. I will add to your score for good role playing as well. :)

Niobe Aptos |

Tsadok further announces that Hurricane King Kerdak Bonefist himself will grant you your letter of marque this very evening. This announcement receives significantly less applause, suggesting that the current Hurricane King may not be as popular as many outsiders believe.
Of course he has to be unpopular, so that later in the AP we can overthrow him! :D
Niobe claps excitedly for Markizio as he abruptly finishes off the giant, then rushes forth to see if he can be saved. She crouches down awkwardly (like someone who doesn't do much crouching) and tries to stabilize the giant with a spell, then she clambers up and grabs Markizio's arm, says, "That was amazing!" and quickly gives him a peck on the cheek.
If the giant is dead-dead, no great loss. If he isn't, Niobe tries to stabilize him because "He's part of their crew, and we're brother and sister pirates now."
As the team files into the hall, she cranes her neck awkwardly and look around, taking in all of the sights. Her nose wrinkles slightly at the smell of so many grotty pirates in one place.

Markizio Voralius |

A little surprised by the accolades, Markizio looked around to see if there were any other challenges. He had drawn blood twice so far and among people he had to consider to be his brethren.
Seeing no more challenges, he said, "This is not the right way to see if people are apt to be pirates. Too damn bloody if you ask me. Aren't we surprised to be brothers here? Do we have to kill each other?"
PARTY
Markizio adjusted his fine clothing and got up to speak. He quickly sat down and let his captain tell their tale only reminding him of a couple of events, "Don't forget to tell them about the undead with the bell or the hobgoblin brothers."

Marnir Saltvig |

Marnir stands at Bonefist's invitation, takes a large gulp of ale to steady his nerves, then begins their tale.
"Which tales do you wish to hear?" he asks the assembled crowd, his voice carrying loudly and confidently across the hall.
"Perhaps you've heard of the Deathknell, the ghost ship captained by Whalebone Pilk which hunts the vessels of the living before dragging them down into the depths. Though I doubt you've heard of how my crew and I were hunted by the very same ship but turned the tide on Pilk and his crew of undead monstrosities, destroying the vessel and ending it's captain's unholy mockery of life." He pauses for effect, and another gulp of ale.
"Or maybe you'd like to hear of Tidewater Rock, the famous island fortress of Iron Bert Smythee and his widow Agasta. Maybe you'd like to hear how we defended the Rock from an invasion by the verminous sahuagin and their treacherous ally Captain Isabella Locke, and how I became lord and master of Tidewater Rock, before joining forces with the captains of the Best Revenge and No Gods, No Masters to form the fleet of Tidewater Rock." Another pause. More ale.
"What about the lost treasure of Captain Cyrus Wolfe and it's rumoured location in Mancatcher Cove? How many have died trying to locate his hoard? Many. And how many crews have lived to tell of the riches hidden beneath the cove, and the battle against it's guardians to retrieve it? One - the crew of the Unbound Drake, my crew. And even though Hask Svard tried to take his revenge on us as we left the Cove for our defeat of his brother, we killed him and his hobgoblin crew to stand before you all today."
Marnir downs the rest of his drink and slams the tankard on the table. The sound echoes around the hall, silencing the whispers and mutterings from the assembled pirates.
"You'll find no better candidates for your letter of marque, o Hurricane King, than the men and women of the Unbound Drake, the finest scoundrels I've ever had the pleasure of sailing with," Marnir finishes, gesturing at his friends.
I'll use Perform (oratory) for my Infamy check, as it seems more fitting for Marnir to tell a story rather than use Intimidate even though it's a slightly smaller bonus. Need a 15+ from the dice and bonuses though.
Perform (oratory): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34
Oh yeah! Behold my awesome storytelling!

Markizio Voralius |

Markizio stood a little taller as Marnir spun his tale. Frankly, he had forgotten some of the adventures he had taken part of, Damn, we are good, aren't we?
He showed his blade to add credibility when the story talked about the hobgoblin captain, hoping some of the pirates had seen it before.
He then clasped his captain's hand and pumped his fist in the air as Marnir finished.
nice speech and better roll :)

Kungrusdak Nosvunkuk |

Kung, recovered from the fight on the dock, amped up and ready for any challenge, looks around the room with a glare, ready to take any to task who doubt their claim.
And he finds none! Seeing honest admiration and respect on the faces of his peers causes the half-orc to break into a smile. He claps the officers of the Drake on the back, finishing with a guttural bellow--a loud, but simple "Yeeeeeeeeah!"
_________
Kung was ready to rage and Intimidate the crowd into respecting our tale, but Marnir, you outdid yourself!

GM_DBH |

As Marnir begins his recounting of the adventures and triumphs of The Unbound Drake silence falls over the hall. The assembled crowd of pirates and captains have heard many a tall tale here, but never one told by a Skald.
His voice rises and falls through the retelling, pirates and rogues hanging on his every word by the end, only drawing breath when he pauses to take a drink, cheers and wild applause break out when he reaches the end of his saga.
Even the surly Bonefist leans back and blinks at the end, so caught up in the tale was he. "Well, I'd ask if'n the swabs approved of yer tales, but it's clear enough to a blind man you've won the hall."
He stands and hands over the heavy parchment that is your letter of marque. "Welcome to the ranks of the Free captains. I wish you good hunting, and damnation to yer enemies!"
The applause and yells show the approval of the assembled pirates at your acceptance.

Now officially recognized as Free Captains of the Shackles, you are free to explore Port Peril and enjoy the sights and entertainments of the pirate capital. They can sell plunder, recruit additional crew, refit their ship, purchase magic items or other gear.
Time to go shopping and do any other things you've been waiting to do? Port Peril is a metropolis, so anything you can afford is available.

Markizio Voralius |

Another fist pump and another hug with his fellow officers. "Legal at last. Nothing more to fear from other Free Captains. Well done!"
SHORE LEAVE
If my PC sheet is correct, I only have 2,191 gp to spend which is not a lot but plenty to get Markizio some new clothes. Oh, could I get a discount on making my chainshirt +2 glamered? That would be great. I would portray Markizio as having a new 'shirt' every day, assuming I can control the glamered 'ability'. :)

Niobe Aptos |

Niobe sidles over to Jane as the audience concludes. "Now that we're at liberty, I'd like your help, Jane," she says. "I don't know how to make potions, but you do. I'd like to make a specific potion - maybe a couple - and will need to get ingredients from around Port Peril, and have some help in creating the concoction."

Kungrusdak Nosvunkuk |

An alehouse being his natural element, Kung revels in the novelty of having good, strong drink with a stable floor under his feet. "Kung think should be easier to drink on solid ground, but it actually harder? Motion of the sea easier to walk on than motion of the ground. Why ground have motion anyway?"
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Clearly getting drunk and enjoying himself, something about the overconsumption of booze also keeps the half-orc alert; he doesn't seem to miss much, at least not in this tavern on this day.

Marnir Saltvig |

Marnir enjoys the boisterous and bustling atmosphere of Port Peril, and especially it's bars and taverns. "I don't think drinking is any harder on land," he replies to Kung, the slight edge of a drunken slur starting to colour his speech, "and if you think the ground is moving, then maybe you've had a bit too much already!"

Niobe Aptos |

"I agree with you about the sea being easier than walking on land," says Niobe cheerfully as she enjoys the raucous, carefree atmosphere of the town. "You know, dolphins are really ridiculous swimmers when they get drunk. They list over sideways and when they've had too much they just crash up on the shore and lie there and sleep it off."

GM_DBH |

Marnir and Kung you both spot a familiar face over the other side of the taproom, Caulky Tarroon. Captain Harrigans's cabin
girl.
Caulky is currently engaged in adding an oily substance to the drinks of some unsuspecting sailors. It seems Harrigan is still recruiting crew the way he caught most of the original party.
Before you can do more than look at her though there is an interruption at your table. Free Captain Pierce Jerrell approaches you, a charming rogue with a winning smile. The smile is currently aimed at Niobe. "Well met Captain." He gives Marnir a respectful nod. "I was lucky enough to hear the telling of your crews deeds. Perhaps I can by you all a drink? And of course you can introduce me to your officers?" His eyes are firmly fixed on the officer he really wishes to meet.
What is the party doing? Keep in mind that currently Marnir & Kung are the only ones who have seen Caulky Tarroon, and also the only ones who know who she is.

He winks at the captain, "And what intentions do you have captain? Are you just friendly to all female officers or just ours in particular?"

"Hey!" Kung says to the table, ignoring the new arrival and his offer of drinks, hoping that he's using his inside voice; he ends up speaking right over Markizio in his eagerness. "See there?" "She slipping Harrigan special into drinks. Just like did to us."

Marnir sees the not-so-subtle press gang poisoning, but also sees that Kung has spotted the girl too. Trusting his bosun to address the issue with his usual tact Marnir turns to Captain Jerrell. "Very kind, captain. We'd all appreciate another ale I think," he states, signalling the waitress over. "You've met my first mate, Markizio. I'll let everyone else introduce themselves."

Not his own experience but having heard what some of the officers went through, Markizio was not about to let that happen to others.
Perhaps meddling himself in someone else's business, the magus pats Kung on the back, "C'mon, big guy. Let's go talk to this girl and tell her that this is no way to get loyal pirates by her side."
He added, "We should also warn those she served her special drink to be careful and get some other drinks."

Captain Jerrell laughs without any rancor at Markizio's little jibe, giving a rueful bow. He starts to make a graceful gesture to order more drinks for you but pauses, his head turning. "Hello? Time to batten down for the squall I think..."
He matches his words with a quick sit down at your table, just in time for a loud brawl to erupt over the other side of the room.
Two things have happened as you were talking to Captain Jerrell, firstly Caulky Tarron had spotted you at last and is currently looking around for an escape route as you sit close to the entrance. Secondly a sailor whom Caulky had gifted with some Oil of Taggit must have been dosed with it before, because she loudly proclaims that someone is trying to
drug her, and throws her drink over her shoulder, square on the head of a rough-looking buccaneer. The bruiser stands up, roaring in rage, and throws a punch, which connects with yet another bystander, and the situation in the tavern soon devolves into an all-out barroom brawl.
It's a come as you are, everyone served melee, mugs and chairs fly as everyone picks a target of opportunity and starts swinging.
Caulky is trying to sneak towards to stairs that lead up DC25 perception check to keep her in sight. While every other sailor on the map is now engaged in beating up anyone who comes near.
What are you doing?
Map is up top, so far you aren't in the fight, but that will change soon. Getting to Caulky will mean wading through the brawl, or using acrobatics to jump along the tables, or to swing from the wooden chandeliers that swing 10 overhead.

Kungrusdak Nosvunkuk |

"Yes follow girl!" Kung bellows, adrenaline pushing the wooziness of the drink to the side, at least for a short time. "Harrigan responsible for all this!"
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Kung loses sight of Caulky and has to rely on Markizio's better eyes to keep track of her. "She go upstairs?" he asks, then bounds towards the balcony overlooking the main room. He leaps onto and then over the party's table, skirts around the edge of the melee by hugging the wall, then up onto the table below the balcony, from which he tries to jump and catch the balcony railing to pull himself up.
Double Move
This is a lot of stuff, and I *think* Kung has the movement to do this, but please correct me if I'm wrong, and backtrack Kung to whatever point you determine is how much movement he really has (the path is marked on the map so you can adjust Kung's movement as needed). Here are some rolls:
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29 (to get onto and over the party's table)
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27 (to get onto the table under the balcony)
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24 (high jump to catch the balcony railing)
Climb: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26 (to climb over the balcony railing)

Niobe Aptos |

Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29
"I see her!" says Niobe as she stands from her chair. "The one trying to get out the door up there, right?" she says as she points (since she's never met Caulky and must rely on Markizio's pointing).
"Excuse me a moment, captain," she says to Jerrell with a smile.
She stands and twists her fingers together in what looks like a gesture of worry, and murmurs something that sounds growly and a bit like a person talking to their own conscience, though the words are clearly magical phrases and not actual speech.
Casting burdened thoughts, Will save DC 15 or Caulky suddenly becomes heavily encumbered for 7 rounds.

Caulky Tarroon Will save: 1d20 ⇒ 14 So close.
Caulky staggers as suddenly what feels like the weight of the world bears down on her.
Seeing Kung blocking her path to the stairs she turns and tries to sneak towards the locked back door.
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
It's nearly impossible to see her through the mass of brawling pirates, but those who made the last Perception check know where she was heading.

Captain Jerrell has been watching the brawl with the amused look of a man not involved in the whole affair. However when several pirates decide your table is a target of opportunity he gestures with a hand and a spray of rainbow colored lights blast them, rendering the pirates blind and staggering. "This is the pretty table I'm afraid gentleman, no nasty fisticuffs to mar my girlish complexion thank you!"
