It doesn't take long for Jasper to make contact within Caemlyn and soon he and Pace are gone. The rest of you spend some time roaming the streets, picking up last minute supplies and listening for any new rumors you may have missed in the wilderness. Eventually you head out of the city and wait near where the Amyrlin's Gateway let you out, the agreed upon location for when Jasper and Pace returned.

Jasper:
The Gateway spins open and it's a shock that greets you. It's been some time since you left but not that long, at least certainly not long enough to account for all the changes. Men in black coats are everywhere and saidin is being channeled constantly. Buildings are springing up all around and the Farm is truly beginning to look like it will become a match for Tar Valon.

Seeking out Sevram Deloval, you are instead directed to a large building being constructed in the distance. As you approach you can see dozens of men working on constructing the structure, led by a dark haired man in a black coat with neither pin. Instead he has blue dragons crawling up the sleeves.

Turning you easily recognize him as Mazrim Taim, former False Dragon and now M'Hael of the Black Tower. As you pull the bracelet from your pouch he smiles widely at you, although it doesn't touch his eyes. Ahh, I see you've found that trinket the Lord Dragon sent you to retrieve. Took you men longer than it should have but whatever the case, the task is done. Taking it from you, he examines it briefly before stuffing it almost carelessly into a pouch at his belt.

He seems ready to speak to you again but then he suddenly stops and moves up to Pace. Gripping the man's chin in his hand, he suddenly sends threads of saidin flowing into him and Pace locks up, his muscles spasming under the onslaught. Just as quickly he stops and Pace nearly collapses at the sudden change. Taim signals two men who come over and help carry off the weak Pace. Turning to Jasper he grins darkly. Hopefully one of the Asha'man will be able to help that man. My skills with Healing are minimal at best but best I can tell, he's barely holding on to his sanity by a thread. You're lucky he didn't turn on you in the field. It's not always that easy to tell but there is sometimes something in the eyes that let's you know a man is on the edge. He had that look about him.

Focusing fully on Jasper he rubbed his chin absently. And what to do with you, I wonder...In a movie, this would be the fade to black moment. Sorry, PBP doesn't translate well with how I think of things.

Jasper, you are now a full Asha'man at least officially. When you take your 1st level of the Prestige Class, you won't have any restrictions or not being "official" like the women did earlier. Also sorry about the spoiler post, not my best writing but this is mainly to be a drop off the item post.

It was hours before he finally rode up towards the group of you, alone. He seemed subdued and yet at the same time pleased. The only word you could put to it was preening. Some of you noticed that where there had been one pin on his collar there were now two, the silver sword joined by a red and gold creature. Some serpentine thing of gold with red enamel scales shining in the fading sunset.

When asked about Pace he simply shakes his head slowly. Pace is unable to continue on with us.

Feel free to post as you will till the next update, I'm gonna move things along soon-ish.

The woodsman turns and looks at the Aes Sedai, awaiting something.

Litheene studies Jasper Looks like me and Jasmine aren't the only ones aquiring new status. Thou I'm not sure what the addition of this symbol means to the Ashaman ... Litheene pauses breifly, hoping for an explanation.

Regardless of whatever an explanation comes, afterwards:

Litheene rides closer to Jasper, making sure nobody hiding nearby may overhear What did they do with it? Did they tell you what it was?

m human, Andorian Asha'Man

Jasper nods at Ryland. thanks.

hearing Litheene's open ended question, Jasper explains about the significance of the pins. since we all are fans of the series, im not going to elaborate on it

Smiling with an amused twinkle in his eye, he says simply Sorry. Asha'man business.

Alathea looks at Jasper suspiciously after his comment about Pace, but says nothing. Light, I hope that Pace has simply chosen not to accompany us further...

m human, Andorian Asha'Man

Looking around at everyone, Jasper says simply well, let's get going. Pace isn't coming back, so no sense waiting for him
He turns his horse and starts to ride east, falling in next to Litheene and chatting with her about growing up in Caemlyn.

After Jasper's return sans Pace, you all make a little bit of distance before camping for the night, trying to at least lose sight of Caemlyn first. The night is hot and the fire unnecessary but you set it anyways. Some of you take watches during the night but it is a rather uneventful evening.

The following morning you break camp and get your gear stowed. As the sun's rays just start to coat the land, you head east along the roadway and begin what will become a monotonous number of days that seem to blend into each other. Much like your journey to Salidar, your travels are fairly quiet those first few days. And without the cloud of a Darkfriend sister, the journey is relatively enjoyable, ignoring the ever present heat.

You pass some travelers on the road and are able to spend a few nights in actual rooms in small towns along the way. Reaching Aringill, the road curves to the northeast as it heads towards Cairhien. It's been a little over a week and Aringill is a welcome respite for you to resupply and think.

The trip from Caemlyn to Aringill took you about 8 days. Aringill to Cairhien will take another 18 days or so, about 2.5 weeks. Pretty soon this will become moot when one of you learns to Travel. ;-)

After enjoying the comparable civilization of Aringill you begin the long ride north towards Cairhien. The days are long and hot, the nights not much cooler but there is a satisfying feeling in the forward progress, the feeling that you're moving towards something.

About 3 days out from Aringill you finish your riding and begin setting camp off the road a ways. Ryland secured a well concealed grotto of trees that you are able to nicely conform to your needs. This has become almost routine for all of you and there is a comfortable sense of companionship as you all go about your various tasks. It doesn't take long for everyone to drift to sleep as the weariness of the day sets in.

The Dream (all of you should read):
The "You" in this is to each of you specifically, not to the group as a whole. You each assume you're having your own personal dream, that's how this is being written.

The land stretches before you broken and cracked, a wasteland of black ash and scorched earth. Almost instantly you are aware that you're dreaming but that this is no normal dream.

Looking around you can see the rest of your companions also near you although none of you seem able to speak to each other, the sound lost as though you were trying to talk in a windstorm. But there is no wind, just the endless plain of dead earth although that is not the most shocking thing you see.

Standing around you, surrounding the group of you are three giants. Easily 100 feet tall or more they stand to form a triangle around you all. Yet their size isn't even the most awesome sight about them.

One stands before you, a sardonic grimace showing on his huge face. Blood pours from beneath an eye patch, apparently covering a fresh wound although it never strikes the ground. His wrists are bound in chains the size of Tinker's wagons, his arms straining to pull free of them while his fists are clenched. Within his closed fists you can see fire and light seeping through the cracks as though he were holding a roiling firestorm in his hands.

The second giant is a hulk of a man, all muscle and brawn. Even were he normal sized he would still be imposing. Yet it is his head that stuns you for instead of a normal man's face, you see the snarling visage of a wolf. The head of a wolf on a man's body, yet clearly he is no trolloc. A thick collar encircles his neck and is chained to the ground like the other man's, holding the wolf headed man equally bound. He snarls and struggles, his golden eyes gleaming in the blackness of the world.

Yet it is the third creature that frightens you all the most. You've seen it flying on banners over different cities and most recently adorning the neck of Jasper's black coat. It is all you can do not to cry out as you see the true splendor and horror of this creature. Chains run the length of its gold and red body, clasping at its wriggling scales. Gouts of white flame thunder from its maw as it struggles greater than the other two to be free of its chains.

Above them and you all is a roiling cloud of black smoke that stretches across the entire sky to the horizons. All three apparitions struggle to launch themselves at it, pulling at their chains which groan wickedly.

You can feel the heavy weight in your hand as you look down and see a large key there where there was none before. Somehow it doesn't surprise you, almost an expected presence given everything around you. Looking to the visions around you, you know that you hold the means of their escape in your hands yet you also know that in their struggles they would surely crush you beneath them as you made the attempt. You feel three sets of powerful gazes turn to rest on you, as if in anticipation of your decision. The pressure seems to intensify until the world around you, including the three giants, washes away in a bright flash of light.

Everyone suddenly jerks awake, sweat pouring down all of your faces to the point that the night air actually feels cool for a moment. Or rather as if a chill had run down your back. Glancing to each other, you realize that you all had the same exact dream, that somehow you weren't dreaming each other together but that somehow you actually all WERE in the same dream.

Please post your thoughts and actions accordingly. Feel free to include descriptive moments of the trip so far as well if you'd like. I will post the next update later this weekend, I want to give people time to react to the above as well as just allow you some freedom to RP between yourselves during the trip. I'm not gonna rush you guys, the next update won't be immediate, you guys will have time to have some fun with character development.

Jasper immediately embraces Saidan, sits up, a hurls an intensly bright light up into the sky. using level 3 slot to make a light as bright as a lightning bolt and fixing it 50 feet in the air above everyone. 300 foot radius of brightness
The shockingly bright light reveals the entire area in a harsh-white glow.
TO ARMS!!!

Your ball of light reveals the rest of your group looking as shocked as you do but that's it that you can see. No shadowspawn or other enemies in the immediate area.

From the trip:
Litheene is disappointed at not having learned the details of the bracelet from Jasper, thou she decides not to push the subject This specific ternagreal is definitely not on top of my list for being close to
She chats with Jasper about Caemlyn, surprised to see his mood so improved, and glad to hear more about this city, which culture she had little chance to explore.

During the travel, Litheene changes to traveling cloths, to avoid drawing attention, and spends her time apart from the group, practicing the weave inversion she learned from the Amyrlin. She also activates the medallion a few more times, to get the hang of holding it and directing it's beam, thou she keeps the targeting for trees only, to avoid any dangerous experimentation. After a while it get's boring, and she decides to wait for the chance to learn more, and in the meanwhile, get's back to practicing inverting her weaves.

After the dream sequence:
Litheene raises quickly, the intensity of the vision filling her mind. It was the dragon, and in danger. The clouds must mean the shadow, but what about the other two?
Then light blinds her eyes, and she embraces Saidar cursing under her breath. Her hand tries blindly to seize the angreal, but unable to find it. When vision returns and she realizes there are no enemies around, her gaze turns to Jasper I do find it lucky you aren't coming from a line of firework makers, even thou I wonder sometimes, or in addition to blindness we'll also have burns to deal with when you sound an alarm
Swapping the cold sweat from her forehead, she looks at the faces of her companions, and the bearing of the dream returns to weight heavily upon her.

No worries. My mom actually went through the same surgery about a year ago. Since we're not in combat, I'm not NPCing anyone just yet, plus I want to give everyone time to post whatever response they might like to the dream stuff.

If it gets long enough then I'll move it up but there's no immediate rush.

No time for more than this unfortunately. I have a big deadline tomorrow (worked all through the weekend too).

Sit, Jed. Cairhein isn't going anywhere, and it is still too dark for travel by horse.
Pausing and taking a drink of water, he continues as he dribbles water over his head Look. It is apparent that we all have had the same dream, judging by the way that everyone is covered in sweat and looking like an Aes Sedai who just got her head dunked in a water trough. Ryland sits crosslegged infront of the fire and begins running a stone down the length of his family's sword, catching a rhythem that seems to somewhat calm the warrior. Only his eyes seem to still contain his possible fear.
What do you think the wolf headed giant was? I was sure it was a trolloc at first, but now I do not think it is.

m human, Andorian Asha'Man

Jasper nods at Ryland A good start, Ryland. Indeed, my first thoughts as well were of the Trolloc, but thinking back on it, only the head changed, not the whole body. Trollocs have that weird stature to them, whereas this man remained in body.[b]
Pausing to look at everyone else, and to flip the meat, he continues [b]Anybody else? Anyone see anything that stood out to them? Something that you took a moment longer in studying.

Fingering his collar, Jasper smirks For myself, the one with the banners and the snarling creatures can only be The Lord Dragon. But he was chained all over, his entire body shackled to something, unknown.

Looking at everyone in the eye, where once a raving madman stared, now stares a focused eye, one clear and in control, Jasper nods at everyone, encouraging all to speak.

Alathea nods in agreement. "That was not a Trolloc. I don't know why I'm certain, but it...felt...different than the ones we've seen in Tanchico. I am afraid of what...we...all saw in this dream, yes? But it is a different fear than what I felt before."

Alathea sits next to Jasper and puts a pot of water on the fire next to the cooking meat. "If that serpent creature is the Dragon Reborn, then what are the other two creatures? They must be important as well, and connected in some way to the first, yes?"

But what could chain one such as he or what the meaning of the other two figures are, I am as clueless as any. This had the feeling of a true dream. It must have some meaning. If that man has gone and gotten himself in trouble again...

Fiallain runs her fingers across her spears, grimacing. We need to find a Wise One. They know much of dreams and what they could portend.

apologies all, RL has kept me swamped the past few days.

Female Human Seanchan Wilder 2 / Initiate 3 / Aes Sedai 6

Litheene sits near the fire, focusing on the smell of food, and trying to relax a bit, through her nervousness still shows.
Seanchan had a few adams suited for man, thou they are rarely made. This can be a possible meaning to the chains, thou I doubt it. The storm above thier heads probably means the shadow and not seanchan.
Maybe the wounded giant is some kind of important Ashaman? He was holding power in his hands, maybe that means channelling? The wolf head might be a referance to a banner or a symbol, which is used by the second one. Much like the dragon is the symbol of the dragon reborn, and appeared in the dream the same way it is seen on the banners
Litheene thinks about banners she is familiar with, but is unable to remember anything related from common history. We need to see if any of those who follow or suppot the dragon weild a symbol that can match

History check to see if I'm familiar with such a banner being in display recently: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31 Thou I doubt it as from the books it was rarely used to this point

Litheene because you have Local trained equally with History, I'm going to sub that in for your roll above. In this particular case it makes more sense for what I'm giving you with the high roll that you got. You'll get what I'm saying in the post.

Litheene:
You wrack your brain trying to think of some kind of banner that could apply to either of the two images, some historical faction that may or may not pertain to the other two giants or tie into the Dragon Reborn. You shake your head in frustration before giving a soft laugh at your own foolishness. Of course I bury my head too far in the past only to nearly miss what is happening right around me.

You remember hearing tales of a small army that formed a little while back in the south of Andor. Some lordling flying the eagle of Manetheren who had some success in a Trolloc raid in the area. What catches your memory now is that there were TWO banners being flown, the Eagle but more importantly you recall that there was also a wolf's head banner, the personal symbol of this lord.

Share as much or as little of this as you like. But this is all you know. Further info about Perrin's army and his role/relation to Rand are not included.

m human, Andorian Asha'Man

perhaps the chains that hold all three back are figurative. Maybe it is events that chain these people down.

Female Human Seanchan Wilder 2 / Initiate 3 / Aes Sedai 6

Litheene turns to her companions, her face lit with the realization. I do recall some recent group in south Andor, under the banner of Manetheren, fighting trollocs. The leader also had a wolf head banner as his personal symbol. As the man in the dream had only his head changed, he might be the one the dream speaks of. However, I do not know if he is connected to the dragon, even thou fighting trollocs might be sufficient, as he was challenging the shadow storm ahead of him, in the dream.

"You do not understand." Fiallain sighs and scoops up a bit of their breakfast onto a plate. "If I go to the wise ones, they will know that I can channel. They will take my spears away. I will no longer be a maiden. I will no longer be a woman free, but will be hustled off like a child to be trained as a wise one. They will put me in skirts, Alathea. SKIRTS!!" She groans softly and takes a bite, making a face. "It is too late already. In my dream...not this last, but before, a wise one met me and as good as said it " was time I grew up and did my duty." Apparently this same one is known to the Aes Sedai in that village, for it was a message from her that the Mother passed to me. She at least knows of me and my abilities already and expects me. Litheene priks the food some, not feeling hungry enough to eat. I don't know enough about the Aiel, not yet at least. But I do know about growing with an ability to channel while believing it's not realy what you are, while seeking another destiny. But channelling is who you are. It is a part of you just like the spear. Let's say you could forgo the path of a wise one and keep the spear instead. Would you not feel that some part of you is missing?

"I do not know of these novices leaving your tower, but for my people, when they determine you will be a Wise One, you will become one even if it kills you. I have never heard of anyone 'escaping' nor should they, once set upon that path. It is a calling that runs far deeper than just channeling. If whispers be true I don't think it is even required of a Wise One to be able to wield the One Power. However, for those like me who can, you must become one. It is...expected."

"Channeling may be who you are, Litheene, it may be even who I am - but so is this... She brandishes her spear.

I lived for this. Drank it. Trained with it as you have the power. I was accepted by my sisters, fought and bled with them. Swore oaths as they did. They are my family, just as strongly as flesh and blood. That will no longer be if I am apprenticed. A wise one carries no spear, has no society, takes no place in the battle line.

Your ring...I have seen how you and Jasmine play with it, caress it. It means much to you. You are sisters because you both wear it, yes? How would you feel if you were forced to give it back? It would no longer be yours. Your sisters are no longer your sisters. She pauses to let that thought sink in.

"My spears are my ring. I can channel without being a wise one, but I cannot be a maiden and a wise one both...

My spears are my ring, Litheene Sedai."

Swallowing a mouthful of food, Jasper chimes in on Fia's apprehension. Bah, skirts. Just a piece of clothing, yet you make it more than what it really is. taking a bite of food, jasper stares at Fia, thinking.

Nodding to himself, he sets his plate down and then speaks again. Look, from my wetlander Point of view, one where your people think we do not understand honor, i think you are being dishonorable to your people, not to mention childish, disrespectful, and petulant. Let's take me for example. Let us say that tomorrow i receive a summons to return to the black tower to teach new recruits how to weave a certain weave. I am not a teacher, but a soldier for the Lord Dragon. What do i know of teaching? I find teaching others tedious and annoying. But, I wouldnt run away and hide, and do whatever i could to avoid the duty. I would do the honorable thing and report.

picking up his water skin, jasper sips a bit and then finishes the choice is yours. Will you run for the rest of your life from duty, honor, and be labeled a child? Or will you do the honorable thing and present yourself to the Wise ones?

Jasmine quirks an eyebrow at Jasper and says While Jasper's choice of words could use some work, his sentiment is sound. You wish to serve your people, yes? You wish to be the best you can be for the Aiel. To protect your spearsisters and others alike, yes? Your ability to channel, and I sense great potential within you, can perhaps save many lives. Though it is perhaps not the life you would choose, it is not without honor and purpose. I am sure that there are those who had the same issues and did not want to give up the spear. My advice would be to talk to them and find out how they handled it and whether it was worth it. Jasmine gives her a friendly smile and says Either way Fiallain, you are a woman of singular honor, intelligent and true. Search your heart and I am sure you will find the answer you seek.

Jed speaks up for the first time in a while. "Things in this world seem to be changing. This is true with all of our nations, the Aes Sedai, and I am certain it is true with your people as well, Fiallain. The Dragon has been reborn, and that means things will forever be different. Maybe you won't have to give up the spears at all. Maybe things are changing with the Wise Ones. Maybe you can be the vessel for that change."

After Jed takes a quick bite to eat, he stands up. "I'm going to do a quick perimeter. Ryland, would you like to join me?" He smiles and nods at Jasmine to ensure she knows he'll be back shortly and then heads out.

Regardless of whether Ryland joins (or anyone else, for that matter), Jed will will scout out around the immediate vicinity. He doesn't go far, but he wants to make sure they haven't alerted anyone to their presence.

Jasper winks at Jasmine.

The sun rises and finds you all already awake and preparing to continue on, the dream fresh in your minds. Getting back to sleep was a lost cause as you all quickly realized and so an early start to the day it is. Jed and Ryland look around the area yet there appears to be no signs of any danger, the night's dream the only intrusion on your evening. You strike camp and begin your journey north again towards Cairhien.

The next week and more becomes routine only too quickly. The first few days out, there are further discussions of the strange dream and what it could possibly portend. Theories are bandied about but after a time even this conversation fades away and you adopt the comfortable silence of those who have traveled long in each other's company. Here and there you manage to break up the boredom of the trip with tales of past events and thoughts on the task yet ahead of you in the city of topless towers.

Passing occasional travelers you hear tales and rumors of the world, some old when you first heard them, others so farfetched and new as to be the work of a gleeman. There are a few brief mentions of the Eagle of Manetheren flying again with a wolf-headed banner which further solidifies Litheene's opinion of that meaning of the dream. Nothing else that you hear really holds any news worth knowing but it at least helps alleviate the tediousness of the journey.

Ryland:
The day has been like all the others previously, with your thoughts drifting from moment to moment. Yet always you ended up back to thoughts of the dreams you'd had.

Suddenly a flash of light seems to white out the horizon before dozens of images flash through your mind accompanied by an overwhelming sense of anger and shock. Scenes of wolves running, terrain flashing by in maddening clumps like a series of paintings, leading you in a certain direction. The images stop and a single voice rings out in your head. We come! More images flash before you, still other views of passing landscapes.

After it all, the simple phrase reverberates again through your mind. We come!

With a start you realize that Jed has hauled your horse to a halt and from the exertion, you were running it into the ground. Looking back you can see the others approaching and you already know without looking what direction you were headed in. The same direction that you saw coming from the different flashes of images. Gaining control of your own faculties, you realize that you can still feel the urge, the need, to continue on. Without even realizing it, you've already turned your horse in that same direction, your body tensed to send your horse riding forward again.

You're still a few days ride from Cairhien when Ryland's head suddenly snaps to the side, his gaze locked on some unseen point to the northwest. Without a word he suddenly sends his horse into a mad gallop, cloak flying behind him from the rush. Some of you cry out to get the man's attention yet he seems oblivious. With a nod from Jasmine, Jed puts his heels into his mount's side and tears after him.

The rest of you turn off to follow at a safer pace while the Warder leans further down on his horse trying to catch up to their erstwhile companion. It's a tense few moments as Jed slowly manages to catch up, his hand outstretched before him. With a final push, he manages to get his horse up alongside and grabs the reins from Ryland's hands, hauling back and bringing both horses to a sudden and violent stop, their flanks heaving from the exertion.

Ryland's gaze whips to Jed, his face set in a snarl and his sword half drawn before he shakes his head and seems to realize where he was and what he had been about to do. Pushing the sword roughly back into its scabbard, he swings around as the rest of you ride up, his face ashen but determined.

riding up on Ryland, jasper quips and you guys think I'm crazy. and laughs at his own joke, hoping to lighten the mood before it starts.
He rides up close to Ryland, putting himself and horse between the women and Ryland.

Ryland sheathes his sword and holds his hand, palm out to Jed Peace Jed.
The woodsman violently shakes his head at he looks. Into the diretion he had been riding.I do not know hat happend or why but I need to go that direction. Something calls me, and I have to find out why this is happening to me. I would aprceciate all of your help, if you wouLd give it, but I will understand if you canot follow me down this path.
Hep pats his horse Drake's neck as he starts forward again, this time under control.

Although Alathea isn't as quick to follow as Jed, she kicks her horse into pursuit, calling for Ryland to return, and catches up to the men a few minutes after they stop. Although Ryland seems to have gotten over his panic, she approaches carefully. Are you well, Ryland? Is there anything I can do?"

Responding to Ryland's request, Alathea motions vaguely in the direction of the two Aes Sedai. "You have followed our path and lent your help even while our reasons were not your own," she says, "and even though you seem to want nothing to do with the likes of me. As of now, I have no path of my own to follow, and I would like to return the favor, yes? How can I help you?" It isn't exactly a lie...but I'm sure that the Tower would see things differently. I must return to the Tower eventually. But do I hesitate in doing so? Why?

Fia lopes up beside the horses, their headlong gallop having actually outpaced the aiel for once. Despite the odd circumstances, the woman seems to take it all as a matter of course. I will be at your side, Ryland of Fal Dara. You need not fear on that account. She gives him a mischieveous smile. Especially now that you seem to want to give me a decent workout at last.... even if it does take you six legs to my two!

Litheene speeds her horse after the others, arriving to hear Ryland explanation. Ill be glad to help you, as Alathea said, you've helped us much, putting yourself in danger on the way. However, Ryland, what is this "something" that calls you? Maybe we could help more if we knew what awaits ahead

Sorry about last post, I typed it on my phone.

Ryland continues to ride Drake as he turns in his saddle to address the others. "The night we all had the first dream of the unknown man, in mine a wolf was present. Ever since, wolves have existed in my dreams. This has not been the first time, when I was young I dreamed of them, but I was given something that stopped the dreams and was told never to speak of them again. That is why I wanted to seek out Fia's Wise Women. I figured they are supposed to understand dreams, so maybe they could tell me why the plague me and their meanings.

Just then, when I lost my self, a flash of light took my vision and I became overcome by shock and anger, then I saw dozens of images flashing through my mind of wolves running, flashes of landscape in maddening bits and peices like a series of paintings, going in this direction. Then I heard a voice. "We come!" followed by more flashes as if I were running.

The Boarderlander looks forward again, like he was trying to see beyond the horizon, his back now to his companions. Maybe Jasper is right in his joking. Maybe I am crazy, but I swear the visions I had came from the eyes of wolves.

welcome to the club, friend jasper laughs, reaching over and slapping the guy on his back. did you perhaps see a destination of where the wolves are running to? is it far?

No, I was...I just saw them run this this way. It could be over this hill or days from here.

Litheene thinks about their recent dream, of the wolf headed giant challenging the shadow storm. And also recalls what was said about the medallion, and hogard. The wolf in your dream, was he with the man? Against him?

Not sure which of my knowledge, if any, applies to such a thing, but still, let's try - roll to recall info about wolf-brothers: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22

gazing far off in the direction that the horses are traveling, jasper says alright. well, lets see where this takes us. Let's travel hard for today, and if we come upon whatever had drawn you, we will see what is happening. If not, then we will continue on to Cairhein. I am sure we can spare a day, right? he finishes, although it sounds like a question, its not.

Let's ride, Ryland jasper commands, spurring his horse to a ground eating gallop

Ryland looks over his shoulder at Litheene as he rides. "In the first dream the man seemed suprised when he saw the wolf then he became frustrated. The wolf did nothing until the man left then it left also."

Ryland nodds his head to Jasper and catches up to the Asha'Man riding next to him.
