"They might be able to rig something, but the hinges to that door are busted. I'm sure we're not gonna be able to just walk right in though, and they have no real reason to come to us.....I don't know." She sort of throws her arms up in a frustrated manner.
Derika
She gives a decisive little nod of her head, "Right! We may not be able to plow our way straight through......but, we'll keep striking at them till none of the bastards are left. They can do whatever they like to me, we'll just keep coming back."

Abigail looks among her new companions, unsure where this adventure may take them. looking to Vishanti, Abigail recalls that it was her that was caring for Derika.
You are Vishanti, correct? I just wanted to compliment you on you skills as a healer. Your friend would be some much worse were it not for your skill. If you wish, after I complete my trials and become a member of the White Hand, I would gladly see about getting you to join our ranks as well.
Abigail smiles trying to not upset anyone in this group.
Derika
Derikas cheek turn a deep blueberry shade of blue at Telsyn's remark. What is wrong with me? It's not like he said "his girl" or anything. Get it together girl, can't afford any distractions right now. Shaking herself back from her inner thoughts she nods slightly, "Yeah....I guess that wouldn't be a bad idea either."

Orym
Orym scratches his head at the names Telsyn uses to describe his magics, but shrugs it off. "I believe rest is the best plan for all of us," he says, excusing himself to his room.
Derika
Derika nods and looks at Jerrica, "Alrighty, that's probably not a bad idea either. We should all get some rest anyways I guess...we could get up early in the morning, grab a fortifying bite to eat and hit that tower again."
Abigail Merosa
Abigail was sitting there listening, she really wasn't sure if she should contribute or not. she didn't know what they faced so far.
finally she has one thought. wait a sec, you guys said they probably know you guys, and they may be expecting you, but they don't know about me. maybe I could do something to trick them to opening the door. she seems a little unsure of her idea or if it was the right time or place to say something.
Derika
She finishes off her tea and looks up with a thoughtful expression, "Huh...that might be an idea. Maybe we could hang back a bit and see if it works. The worst that could happen is that they don't fall for it and we end up using force, which we would have had to done anyways. What do the rest of you think?"
Vishanti

Abigail smiles trying to not upset anyone in this group.
"Thank you Abigail, though I am glad we have access to your healing magics as well now. I am honored you would consider that, though my path is guided by the spirits of this region, and I may be called to heal the land in other ways." Vishanti replies.
Derika
Standing she picks up some of Abigail's belongings, and before heading upstairs looks at everyone and gives them a slight nod. "Yes, rest and time to prepare is what we need right now. We'll see how all this works out tomorrow. Good night everyone." She then turns to head up the stairs. Stopping by Lynnie she says, "Let me know before we leave again how much we owe ya, and Ill settle up with you okay?"

I am sure something will come to mind in the morning. she says as people start to filter off to bed.
Abigail follows her patient to her room (probably cause she is carrying her stuff) (as little as there is of it)
Once there Abigail goes about ensuring Derika is comfortable and she has the necessary medicines and bandages to keep her wound clean to heal better.

Hehehe.....well, guess it's time for me to plan my trip to N.Y. so I'm gonna be busy for a bit looking at Amtrak and conferring with a friend of mine to make sure I get up there at a time when I can actually be picked up from the train station.

That is if my relic of a computer can get me to the internet to look at it.
Waking up she really does feel much better. Seeing Abigail praying she tries to get up quietly, so as not to disturb her.

Jerrica DeLamis
Jerrica slips out of her room, the last of her wounds healing up overnight. She heads downstairs and sits at the table. "Hey, Lynnie...you think I can do some work around here? I know Derika paid you and all, but I still want to earn my keep. We might be leaving soon, so...maybe some quick chores?"
Orym
After repeating the previous morning's ritual, down to letting Clamps nibble on a few tablescraps again, Orym is prepared to delve into the fort once more. "Once more, into the breach?" he jokes to the others as they gather in the eating area of the inn.
Derika
Lol....woah...slow your roll there for a sec chief. Lets all have some breakfast and wait to see what Abigails idea is for her trying to talk them into opening the door. I'm thinkin Abigail will take the lead, and we'll all kinda hang back far enough to stay outta sight, but close enough to kick butt if we have to.
Derika makes her way quietly downstairs and greets the others that are there already. "Ah good morning all. So, are we ready to go kick more bandit butt today?"

Derika
She nods at Jerrica as she scarfs down some of her own breakfast. Once she swallows she says, "Okay sure, Abigail is upstairs praying so it'll be a little bit before we leave anyways. As soon as she comes down and we go over the plan...which is probably gonna just be her trying to talk them into opening the door before we go smashing our way through again, we'll be ready to go. I'll find ya before we leave."
Vishanti
Vishanti awakens early as usual, communing with the spirits while most are still in their beds. After others begin to awaken she dresses and makes her way downstairs, smiling at Jerrica as she sits down to breakfast.
She questions her place among us, the feeling of belonging is a difficult one for her.

Moving on...
The weather has cleared up significantly by the time you are ready to move out. Though the trail is still quite soft, it's a pleasant change of pace not to be battered by rain. You once again find yourselves in front of the keep. Glancing at the watch tower, you see that the bandits have erected a barricade. You hear footsteps approaching from behind you.

on the walk to the keep...
looking to the others Abigail motions for them to hide. take cover and stay out of sight, I will talk with them. I will see if I can get them to lower their guard, then signal when the moment is right to strike.

Abigail tries to keep them distracted enough so that the men do not get a very good look at the one hiding.
I'm so sorry, I am Healer of the White Hand. and I am here to investigate this keep. The healers hope to look into taking up residence there and establishing a hospital in the region.
referring to friends. Friends? what friends? I came alone. perhaps they are the bandits that I have heard rumors about. she clutches her spear tightly. attempting to look rather innocent.

Okay....I'm at a loss as to what to do here. Except for jumping out and going argh! And start whackin people. We can't let them take Abigail to the bandit leader. Bad, very bad. Maybe if I was large I could kick em around a little easier? Ideas anyone?
