Ithriel Latairn |

I like them. Helps me shape the direction of the character. Thanks
You're welcome. I have to admit, when I write these things I get nervous about how others will react when I put their characters in. Like the one after the crash.

Leon the Landless |

Don't worry about that with me. Everyone has my permission to assume non-combat actions from Leon. He's a pretty helpful guy and I think everyone has a good enough handle on his character to be able to describe him pretty well.
Besides, it's really fun to see how other people write you, and what you look like through someone else's eyes.

Leylyn Rhydoc |

~Leylyn has achieved level 3!~
Leylyn’s Hit Points increase to 26! (19 +5 base +2 con)
+1 base save to Fortitude Saves!
+1 to Base Attack Bonus!
+2 ranks to the Diplomacy skill!
+1 rank to the Intimidate skill!
+1 rank to the Knowledge (Geography) skill!
+3 ranks to the Linguistics skill! Leylyn learns to speak goblin, orc and giant!
+1 rank to the Perform (Sing) skill!
Leylyn has learned the inspire competence bardic performance. She can inspire her allies to succeed on skills!
Leylyn has Learned the Antagonize Feat! She knows how to drive people Crazy!
Leylyn learns the Ghost Sound, Mendingand Cure Light Wounds spells!
Lelyn can cast 1 additional 1st level spell per day!
---
Instead of a skill point or a hit point for favored level, I took another 0 level spell. If you don't like that rule let me know and I will take one of the 0 level spells away. Plus I think some of the Meat shields are envious of Leylyn's HP! :P

Ithriel Latairn |

Nara: Mend? What is that used for? Healing?
Perf: No it's a sewing spell.
Leylyn please tell my you're going to take the spell Vague next level?
*EDIT* Just a heads up, September 6th and 7th may not see any posts from me as my wife and I are moving into our new house. Will be able to post again September 8th.

Leylyn Rhydoc |

Are you kidding? Antagonize was MADE for Leylyn. Read the diplomacy part again. I am usually ranged when it comes to fighting, If I ever even bother making an actual attack. You guys keep the big scary monster off of Leylyn, and leylyn grants that monster a -2 to hit you for a full minute. And the best part about it? It's HILARIOUS!

Leon the Landless |

As a character, Leon would rather take the slow and safe route. That's the kind of guy he is.
As a player I think getting swept away by a storm and still managing to get to our destination ahead of the main force is awesome. Story-wise I'd much prefer that.
Leon doesn't have much of a sense of direction, so right now he doesn't even know that there even are two choices. If someone he trusts to know where they're going points them down the faster route, he'll probably never know any better. :)

Jevon Ryker |

Jevon's not usually the cautious sort, but he's still depressed about Koldir. He'll go along with whatever the others decide, though if no one chooses quickly he's likely to set off for the faster route out of impatience and frustration.

Jevon Ryker |

Just letting everyone know that I'm gonna be on vacation from the 27th-6th. I'll have access to the internet, but I probably won't have much posting time. Feel free to DMPC me as needed to move things along.

Baster of the Peacock |

It looks as we will be momentarily splitting the party - again. I hope you don't mind too much, Matt.
To tell you the truth, I'm discovering as a player that perhaps the PbP play is more conducive and amenable to party splits than the tabletop play is.
Anyway, I'm going with the flow and the moods of the characters here, as I perceive it. If splitting the party is giving you headaches, Matt, don't hesitate to tell me, and I will refrain to provoke it.

Baster of the Peacock |

I appreciated Koldir too myself. He made a nice "lowlife" duo with Jevon, and I was getting curious about his nefarious past.
I regret he didn't answer my PM or yours, but real life can get notoriously complicated. I wish "Koldir" the best, wherever he is !

Baster of the Peacock |

Since you mentioned this adventure's beginning, Matt, one side effect of this great PbP game since it started last june is that it immensely improved my knowledge of PFRPG rules.
I've become something of the unofficial rules-guy in my local gaming group - it's funny, because I definitely did not start that way ;-) !
Now, not to become a meddling rules lawyer... ;-p !

Baster of the Peacock |

Hi all,
Yeah, Endrian was a good buddy - in game, and as a player.
I think Endrian could be an NPC for a time, before some other calling comes for him - he is the "called by an higher power" type, after all :-).
It depends about what is most convenient to Matt, I think.
Regarding the pace of the game, Matt, I have no problem with it. Exams and studies can be time consuming ; having been a student as well as a teacher, I'm well aware of that.
I'll wait patiently until we can begin to dig for the Grail :-D !

Matt, Game Master |

It is with great sorrow that I have to announce my temporary departure from the paizo forums.
I've had a great time playing in all the games on the forums but university and my new job has axed my free time enough that I've had to consider just how much time I can realistically spend on the forums gaming.
Rather than continue playing with very subpar posting, that I feel could be so much better if I had the time to make the posts I wish I could make, I'd rather put my current Play-by-Post games on hold until my schedule clears up than play a sub-par game with people I know are capable of making an amazing story come to life.
I cannot say when I will be back, but I will. This is not a definitive goodbye and I will not make the games inactive. When I feel confident that I have the time to continue GMing once again, I will PM each and every one of you.
Again, apologies for cutting these games short and hopefully you'll all be able to find things to do in the downtime.
Thank you to all the players from all my games;
Seekers of the Grail: You guys really are the ultimate best, and we will finish this adventure together. I promised an end and an end we will have. I know we've lost 2 members already and now I must temporarily depart, but keep your characters in your hearts and we'll play again together soon!
Night Upon the Realms: I feel bad cutting us so early in the game, but fear not, I will come back and we will be able to finish this PvP game.
Mansion in the Mists: Again, sorry for cutting a game so early in the story, especially as this was a "Learn to Play" game.
Hopefully you'll all forgive me, and I hope to see you all again when I return.
- Matt, Game Master

Baster of the Peacock |

Matt, that Seekers of the Grail game was - and continues to be - one of the best games I've had a pleasure to be a part of, IRL or online !
For that, I thank you Matt, and you also, guys: Endrian, Koldir, Leylyn, Jevon, Leon, Ithriel, Tim and Aldus.
Your characters are colorful, clever, even deep, entertaining, and we form a great band of do-gooders (I mean... good for the most part ;-) !
I fervently hope we'll continue this later, because I long to know the rest of the story... and the fate of our heroes !
So, Matt, I most certainly want to be there when you come back online :-) !
If, for whatever reason, PM wouldn't work, do not hesitate to write me at:
quichelisp[AT]gmail.com. That's my dedicated RPG email adress.
And that goes for the rest of you, guys !
I'm a little sad at this turn of events, I won't deny it; I liked checking my paizo webpage to see how our interactive quest for the Grail was faring, and doing my bit for my own enjoyement and that of others.
I thoroughly enjoy the company in there, in that strange dreamy online story space =^D !
Well, I cross my fingers for the future of that game [crossing fingers] !
Cheers,
Ronan, knight player

Ithriel Latairn |

Fair winds to you Matt. I look forward to your return. This version of Ithriel is by far my favorite. I still can't get over the fact that a 'mostly' blind Elf was guiding everyone out of the valley. XD
