For those curious, the reason I didn't bother rolling for days 2, 3, and 4, when it comes to heat damage is because you would have recouperated enough before the next day. Hopefully. Most likely, at least.

Oh, I asked twice if anyone wanted the Ioun Stone (+1 init) and got only crickets chirping. I'm happy to say that Unafe is wearing it for now (which also bumps everyone's favorite spinosaurus higher on the list)...but if someone else wants it after this combat, just holler.
Also, someone should probably carry the potion of CLW.
I've updated our loot tracker to show that the Hand has the scimitar now, and that Unafe's got the Ioun stone (at least for now).

Also, I made rough elevation markers (in pink) to denote changes in elevation - some are gradual (if they are in the sand), others are hard (if they are on the rock).

I think this is going to be a fairly boring fight for the melee folks. By the time it gets to them I expect the gnolls to be running for the hills.
Ranged is king in Pathfinder. The most annoying PCs as a DM are ones who are good with their longbows/firearms.
I was all for trying to get into the fight during our first encounter. Now I'm more "let them come to me." If you want to keep shooting them, I have no problem with that.

I got all of my results today. I passed all of my courses as well as the program. Goodbye four hour lectures, pointless lab sessions and mindnumbingly frustrating questions written by people who speak poor english.

On the other hand, come May, say hello to 12 hour days at the hospital followed by a four hour study sessions six days a week and huge tests every 3 weeks. 8)
We leave the island Thursday for the States where I will be sequestered until March to prepare for Step One of my Boards. I will have a short vacation then until May when I will begin Clincial Rotations in NYC.
So, I should have far fewer problems making my one post a day for the next six months. 8)

Anyways, as far as Aluriel goes, I will be DMPCing her until MPCambell's hopeful return in a few months. I do not plan on DM-fiat killing her like Jack.
Until he returns, I'll be taking control of leveling her up and whatnot, though once MPC returns, he can level her up from level 2 as he wishes. I'll be keeping track of 'my' version of Aluriel separately.
