Skarn detects no items on the trio, and they depart quickly before the party changes their minds.
Trox Ragmend
Trox watched the hags go feeling a little bad for having cut one of them up pretty good.
"So we keep going in here, I guess. Barl and sopme human seem to be heind it?"
DM Carbide
Once the fog dissipates, the party searches the area where the hags were living and finds no treasure (but plenty of evidence that the hags cooked and ate humans and other sapient creatures). By that time the trio is long gone, though.
The only exit leads north.
Before you move on, does anyone need healing?
DM Carbide
Proceeding north, the party comes to a fork--a passage leads west and down, and another passage leads to the east before seeming to open up into a larger space.
Which way?
Trox Ragmend
"East first and then we deal with the stairs. (or slope) This way." Trox leads the way slowy with shield up.
Druamin
Druamin follows behind Trox. "So I wonder who that woman was. The guy might be that guy we were looking for."
We were looking for a guy, right? I don't remember exactly... Guess I should go re-read the posts.
DM Carbide
You were looking for Lamatar, the captain of the Black Arrows, who was captured by the Kreeg ogres and taken to Hook Mountain.
Trox Ragmend
Nahh, bad plot point there must be a body at least.
DM Carbide
You'd think so, but remember that this part of the AP was written by Nicolas Logue. You might have to hunt the hags down and feed them emetics, or something. Or the only piece left of his body is a thighbone that Barl Breakbones is using as a toothpick.
This gigantic chamber extends into darkness to the east, sloping upward between two wide ledges on which loom statues with angular faces, stern brows, and strong jawlines. Above, the ceiling opens to the slate gray sky, and a cold wind carries a few snowflakes into the cavern. The ramp leads up in tiers, finally coming to an end before an immense stone throne. A stone giant slouches on the throne, with another giant standing in front of him. A lovely redhaired apparently human woman lounges to one side, with a familiar-looking human: it's Kaven Windstrike, the Black Arrow who betrayed the others.
The stone giant on the throne mutters something in Giant.

Botting Erond:
Erond inspires the party and sends an arrow at the nearest stone giant, hitting it solidly. I'll use that last attack that he never got to use against the hags. Reynard elects to improve his defensive posture.
Kaven advances warily, ready to dodge. The stone giant picks up a rock and hurls it at Erond, missing the cleric.
Skarn can act!

Skarn Hornfels
Skarn will cast keen edge on his pick. And use a free action to active the following Judgements:
Judgement of Sacred Protection - +2 to AC Sacred
Judgement of Sacred Purity - +2 to saves Sacred
And then I'll move 40' closer to the foes.

Skarn prepares magically and advances.
The giant on the throne clasps his sihedron medallion and invokes its power.
Druamin, Trox, and Cordwin are up!
Trox Ragmend
Trox impulse it to simply run at the targets but the situation does not really call for that. Instead he hustles up as far as he can with his shield held infront of him and longwsword drawn and ready. He mumbles as he moves.
"Too far away."
DM Carbide
Cordwin, how many L3 spells can you cast per day? You haven't rested since you came in, and so far you've cast dispel magic at least twice, plus a couple of haste spells and a cure moderate wounds
Cordwin Ironbeard
Forgot we haven't rested. I can only cast 4 per day.
Cordwin will shoot two bolts at the giant Green.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 1 = 25
Attack 2: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 1 = 23
Damage 1: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Damage 2: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Attack 2 Confirm?: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 3 + 1 = 15
Additional Damage 2: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
DM Carbide
Cordwin, it looks like you missed the +4/+4 from inspire courage. It also looks like you moved up, which would mean you lose your second attack. Remember that each square is 10', not 5', so reaching where you were shooting from would actually be a double move.

Reynard dashes forward, reaching roughly level with Trox.
Double Move. I can't tell from the map what's going on with the terrain. If it's difficult or in some other way would slow me down, I use my mutagen-granted wings to fly over it and avoid being slowed down.

Trox double moves holding his shield up and sword at the ready.
"Yeah keep chucking those pebbles ya goofy looking bastart."

One of the funniest things to me in PbP is a long charge accross a long space. Monty Python did it best.

Skarn Hornfels
Like a cheetah able to charge 500 feet!
DM Carbide
Ahem. Cheetahs never prosper.
