Oathar The Vigilant
Since the Ettercaps moved that far up, Oathar will move to the same spot indicated but will drop his bow and draw his sword. Power attacking the northern one great sword: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30. If he hits damage: 2d6 + 13 ⇒ (5, 1) + 13 = 19 Rolling to confirm: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
extra damage: 2d6 + 13 ⇒ (6, 3) + 13 = 22
Kimberly Snow
still unsure if Kimberly has any free will right now or not?
Danica Quinn
Doh! Can't use Roll20 site. Work only uses IE.
Danica drops her bow (free action) and moves into flanking position with Oathar. Please let me know if Danica can get into some sort of melee postion, flanking or otherwise.
Oathar The Vigilant
I moved you to a flanking position, but you will need to make an acrobatics roll vs the creatures CMD to avoid an AOO.
Danica Quinn
Thanks for the assist.
Acrobatics, Ettercap CMD 18: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Made it.
The agile monk-inquisitor moves into flanking position behind the ettercap Oathar attacked. Danica easily avoids an attack from the creature by ducking below the swing. Then she performs a side kick to the creature's mid-section.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe she can't draw her sword and attack along with her move action, so she will draw her sword next round.
Unarmed Attack, Teamwork Feat-Outflank: 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 10 + 4 = 24
Damage, lethal, Unarmed: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Oathar The Vigilant
It is kind of a DM call. Normally you can draw a weapon as part of your move as long as you have a BAB of +1 or higher, but with the tumble it is up to the DM.
Kimberly Snow
Kimberly starts humming along with the music, nearly oblivious to the danger around her.
Anna Dunsany
Anna sees the ettercaps heading her way and ducks inside the structure, using the cover to hide and wait until they reach optimal sniping distance.
Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (1) + 18 = 19

Updating to allow drawing and use of the temple sword [dice: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 damage
I had to update tolvans position so that lst round he was securing Kimberly... bot-ting Tolvan - he casts create pit under the Ettercaps charging down Anna.
Dc18
1 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
2 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
The second moves aside then continues towards Anna, rapidly, boxing the woman in, while the first drops into the pit. Taking 3d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 4) = 11 damage.
The ettercaps both attack Oathar.
#1
Bite 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
2 claws 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 for 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 and 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

2 claws 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 for 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 and 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
If bitten : Bite—injury; save Fort DC 15; frequency 1/round for 10 rounds; effect 1d2 Dex; cure 2 consecutive saves. The save DC is Constitution based.
Unrestrained this round Kimberly walks forward to the current position. You will snap out of it next round and will be able to act normally.
Oathar now...

Using Judgment - Protection (+1 to AC)- Swift Action
Danica's AC is now 26.
Using Inspire Courage - +1 moral bonus to all - Swift Action
The inquisitor calls upon the power of the Dawnflower and is immediately surrounded by her protective aura. She shouts while she takes another slice at the creature. "Do not waiver. Together we stand strong. By ourselves we will fall!"
Attack, temple sword, Moral bonus: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 11 + 1 = 31
Confirm Crit, temple sowrd, Moral bonus: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 11 + 1 = 30
Damage, Temple sword: 1d8 + 3 + 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 + (1) + 3 = 8 WOW....snake eyes for crit damage.
Tolvan
Back and ready to jump in. Did Tolvan have to release Kimberly to cast? Against the current threats he would choose to retain her instead of cast if he has no other choice.
Oathar The Vigilant
@Danica, that will hopefully be enough to finish it off.
@Tolvan, you can cast one handed while grappling, but would need to make a concentration check and it is pretty high.
Tolvan
Casting a spell while you have the grappled or pinned condition is difficult and requires a concentration check (DC 10 + the grappler’s CMB + the level of the spell you’re casting). So DC should be 12+ Kimberlys CMB, right?
Concentration: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20
GM Helaman
End of round with Oathar killing one and hitting one the other, severely wounding it. Tolvan manages to keep a hold of Kimberly while casting the spell.
End of Round
New round
Unnoticed by Anna "something" fires web at her... from behind her! 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25 entangling her DC19 for escape artist or strength check to escape it
Danica takes down the one she is attacking.
Tolvan and Anna now then the ettercaps
Once the etteraps are done, Kimberly is full back to her senses.
Anna Dunsany
Next time I'll be sure to outright say I use my ring rather than be descriptive about it.
Escape Artist: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15
Aww, no! Anna exclaims, as the surprise of being hit unawares prevents her from slipping out of the webbing.
Danica Quinn
Danica moves up 6 squares towards ettercap #1. Move Action. I have already moved her icon up the 6 squares in Roll20.
She then calls upon the power of her diety to ignite her temple sword; casting Flames of the Faithful. Casting Action. Temple sword now has flaming property for 5 rounds.
Inspire Courage - +1 Moral bonus to all. Round 2 of 7
Flames of the Faithful - Round 1 of 5
Tolvan
Is Tolvan aware of what has happened to Anna? She is invisible so I know he cannot see her. Perhaps he hears her? Does she call out? I need to know before I post my turn.
Tolvan calls out The Ettercap in the pit will not stay there long! It can climb.
Anna Dunsany
The ettercap's climb speed just gives it a +8 to its climb. It still has to make the DC.
Yes, I did call out.
Tolvan
Dropping Kimberly's arm as he hears Anna's call Tolvan casts Fly on himself and launches himself in the direction of the shout. Note, gaining some altitude so flying 45' and then dimensional stepping anther 15'.
Tolvan
Tolvan can cast a spell to see her too, it need be. Maybe he can see the web strand?
Anna Dunsany
I'm hoping that even with tremorsense, I still have full concealment from them. They may know my square, but they can't see me.
GM Helaman
New round (Redacted)
Web attack 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25 (posted the old numbers)
Concealment check for attack, low being a hit 1d100 ⇒ 78
Unnoticed by Anna "something" fires web at her... from behind her! - The web narrowly misses, her invisible status giving her the edge she needs to avoid it.
Danica takes down the one she is attacking.
Tolvan takes to the Air.
Anna and then the ettercaps. Anna is up
Once the etteraps are done, Kimberly is full back to her senses.
Anna Dunsany
Anna glances down at the gossamer strands of webs she's been walking in and swears mentally. Thankfully, she'd been crouching low enough that the spray of webbing went over her, so obviously they could tell she was there but still couldn't see through her ring's magic.
Since it didn't know what she was doing, she brought up her heavy crossbow and took aim at the spider creature. Hopefully a good shot would end its threat, since once she pulls the trigger she'll be visible.
Ranged, invisible, PBS: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 9 + 2 + 1 = 27
Damage, PBS, Sneak Attack: 1d10 + 1 + 1 + 3d6 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 1 + (1, 1, 5) = 14
If hit, thanks to Befuddling Strike he's at a -2 to hit me for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds.
Anna then drops her crossbow and draws her dagger.
GM Helaman
What Anna sees at the mouth of the hole in the towers ground makes her hair stand on end!
The bloated white segments of a maggot’s body erupt in a torso of mixed feminine and insectile features. Pale humanoid skin and carapace meld together beneath a face with segmented eyes and mandibles chittering a song of discordant alien clicks and hisses. The creature is huge and virtually next to the human lass.
Her bolt hits true making the creature splutter in anger.
Knowledge Dungeoneering Dc23 needed here
GM Helaman
The Ettercap who had run over to investigate the stopping of the music hoots in pleasure at having a visible object of prey.
It steps into the mouth of the tower and attacks.
Bite 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 + Poison
2 claws 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 and 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
The other attempts to climb from the pit, the creature naturally agile at climbing 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17 but fails to make any headway, leaving it in the pit.
Oathar and Kimberly now.
Tolvan
New round (Redacted)Web attack 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25 (posted the old numbers)

I still need to assume that Anna a called out in alarm at the webbing. Else Tolvan would still be in the tree line holding onto Kimberly. But calling out while invisible is not something Anna would do if not ensnared. So I am fine either being back at the tree line holding Kimberly or flying where Tolvan is on the map after an uncharacteristic yelp from Anna. DM call please.
Anna Dunsany
Big ugly! Anna calls out in surprise at the disgusting monstrosity inside the keep.
How's that?
Tolvan
Nah, that does not work. Tolvan can already see you after you plug the Ettercap. :) What triggered his flying over was your alarmed call when we thought you had been snared but the web strand.
Oathar The Vigilant
Oathar just thinks Anna is being cute and she is referring to him coming up as the "big ugly!" The Ettercap is over there Tolvan, I would think he would know something is up.
Anna Dunsany
Ha ha. Watch yourself around nicknames. They might stick.
Oh, yeah. Forgot this:
Knowledge (dungeoneering): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Tolvan
Ok. unless you say otherwise Tolvan did release Kimberly and fly to over the ruin.
Kimberly Snow
oh sorry, was a little distracted...
Kimberly shakes the music from her head as she finally starts to see the dangers looming about.
Carefully advancing Kimberly tries to gauge the location of all of her companions.
