Round 2
"This creature is a Golem. It is nearly immune to magic and will resist some damage from all but adamantine weapons. We need to kill it quickly." With his statement he moves back a few steps and casts Glitterdust at the creature, trying to blind it. The golem is too slow to realize the danger as the glitterdust coats it, completely covering it's eyes as well and blinding it.
"Andjela, didn't you hear him? It's an automaton! Now's not the time! Just kill it!" Anna shrieks. Seeing the glitterdust hit, she loads another bolt in her hand crossbow and shoots. The blind golem turns it's head towards the sound, as Anna suspected it would, and the bolt catches it again in the neck. Judging from her earlier shots, without the glitterdust covering the golems eyes and slowing its movements, the projectile likely wouldn't have landed. Like before, the damage isn't as extensive as Anna expected, dimished by the creatures natural armor.
Danica casts Flames of the Faithful, making her temple sword bursting with flames bestow by Sarenrae. The monsters blind state not giving it time to take advantage of Danica's momentary gap in protection.
Andjela moves in and attacks, her blade getting through the creatures defenses, but taking only the smallest of gouges out of it's armored hide. The blow much less damaging than Andjela anticipated.
Kimberly is a bit afraid to actually enter the room but she wants those in there to know Pharasma's blessing are with them. With a short prayer the party all feel the now familiar sensation of Pharasma's blessings as a wave of dark light washes over the party.
Disoriented and confused, the golem strikes out at the position of its last attacker, Andjela. Four clawed and massive arms flail around in her general area, but she manages to move just enough so that three of the clawed hands just skid across her enhanced armor. One claw does get through a chink in the armor, drawing a bright line of blood from the paladin. -10hp Andjela. Blinded only affects attacking with the 50% miss chance, right? No debuff to the attack roll as I'm reading it.

Kimberly closes her eyes and concentrates. this was a power she knew she had but never was sure it worked. this seemed like the best place to try.

Round 3
Tolvan knows that his arrows will likely not penetrate the golom's defenses but fires in hopes of a lucky shot, stepping forward as his arrows fly. The arrows are on target but both glance off the creatures tough skin, neither damaging it.
"Yikes." Anna shakes her head as she races down from her perch while drawing her dagger. She moves down the steps and into a flanking position and strikes the golems unprotected back. Her smaller dagger jabs deep into the golems hamstring, slicing through the armored tissue and causing a lot of damage.
Danica, with the enhanced speed bestowed by Tolvan, takes advantage and positions herself to flank the golem with one of her companions. Her martial arts dance goes into effect as she unleashes a series of slashes on the golem, both of which do substantial damage despite the creatures natural resistance. "Surround the monster and let your strikes be true." she calls out helpfully.
Reluctantly, Andjela shifts her position for tactical advantage and presses her attack, but neither lands on the blind golem.

The golem roars under the barrage of slices and gouges, and turns towards the area Anna struck from, flailing about in a windmill/searching series of massive claws, trying to tear the dangerous Anna to shreds. The first two strikes are all but certain strikes, but it's blindness gives Anna the split second she needs to dodge one, and the other catches the wall at the last moment. The final attack does land, ripping down her left arm. -11hp Anna.

Danica sees Anna evading the chaotic barrage until the last one finds its mark. Anger begins to swell within the inquisitor as her grip on her temple sword begins to tighten. Again, Danica goes through a series of martial arts slashes and screams at the golem. "COME AND FACE ME MONSTER." The stout warrior tries to draw the monster's aggression hope to save others from its strikes.

well done all. This was a dangerous foe. We are lucky to sustain minimal wounds.
Tolvan will get everyone in the room, close the door, and cast Detect Magic before he starts searching the room.
Danica Quinn
"Well done indeed. My thanks for the added protection and for speed."
Danica inspects her wounds then starts looking around the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20
At the same time she casts Detect Magic, helping out Tolvan.
Anna Dunsany
Anna works her arm, impressed. Hey, thanks. That did the trick. Yeah, we did all right, even though that thing was pretty tough, she chimes in, agreeing with Danica.
You think the Beast is gonna be mad that we're killing all his cousins? she asks while sifting through the debris.
GM Mug
The search of the room doesn't reveal anything new on the ground floor, but an inspection of the trapdoor at the top of the stairs shows it to be made entirely of thick and heavy adamantine.
Andjela Daywalker
Andjela examines the body, tracing the stritching with a relatively delicate finger. Closing the thing's eyes she mouths a short prayer.
Kimberly Snow
I can't help but wonder why Beast turned out the way he did, and not like these? do you think we had a good influence on him? and I wonder where he is too
Kimberly doesn't really expect an answer, as she follows along with the group.
Danica Quinn
"This is a zoo of monsters. This 'Father'....he will need to answer some questions."
Danica follows the stairs leading to the trapdoor. "Anna, all yours."
Anna Dunsany
Yep. Actually, I wouldn't mind keeping it, if we're looting the place. That metal has to be worth something.
Anna inspects the door for traps, then picks the lock assuming she finds nothing. (Assuming there is a lock.)

The adamantine trapdoor tips up and over and stops at a steep angle, leaning against the wall. This circular room is choked with webs. A stone staircase curves along the wall to another trapdoor in the ceiling.
If you hit this, you can roll a Linguistics DC35 or another Perception DC35 to see what the marks represent.
Anna Dunsany
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
Webs! Anna whispers down to the others.
Any way I can move into the room without touching a web? Escape Artist check?
Kimberly Snow
perception DC really high: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
OK, holy crap, Kimberly found it! but cannot make the other checks even on Nat-20
Kimberly eventually makes her way toward the trap door. she does not enter the web room though, only peers in behind Anna.
Is there anything neat in here? hey what's that over there she says pointing to the marks she sees.
Anna Dunsany
Linguistics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 Hey, enough for an assist!
Anna glances at chalk marks Kimberly pointed out. Umm. Don't know. Sometimes a guy will case a joint and leave marks like those to tell the gang about traps, or treasure, or stuff. I don't recognize those, though. Each gang would have their own.
She pauses for a moment, then adds, I mean, of course I wouldn't be able to recognize them. How could I? You know, gang signs and such.
Looking innocent, here!
Tolvan
Tolvan will cast his Flaming Sphere into the webs and use it to try to clear the room.
GM Mug
The strange web in the room burns quickly, and you think you hear a quick flapping of wings before the fire burns itself out, but then all is silent. The odd markings on the wall are quite visible, but as yet undecipherable. Otherwise empty, the room is much the same as that room below.
To understand the markings needs an assistable Perception/Linguistics DC35.
Danica Quinn
Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (4) + 17 = 21
Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (17) + 17 = 34
Any of these make it? Can we take 20? Danica would be 37 if we can take 20.
GM Mug
Taking 20 works for me.
Danica stands still and considers the markings for a good long time. Turning her head this way and that to try and understand the broader picture. Suddenly her head comes up, and she steps back, using her hands to frame the markings just so.
