Lion 2 flies all the way around behind Vrock 3 to provide flanking (double move; provokes AOO from Vrock 4 but enough movement speed to not provoke AOO from Vrock 3). Lion 1 disengages from Vrock 4 and pounces on Vrock 3.

Emyla Turn Breakdown:
Mirror Image Vrock 3 (1 is self): 1d4 ⇒ 2

All of Lion 2 attacks miss, but they also pop the rest of Vrock 3's mirror images; the 2nd attack misses due to an image and the rest miss by less than 5.

Mirror Image Vrock 4 (1 is self): 1d2 ⇒ 1
Mirror Image Vrock 4 (1 is self): 1d2 ⇒ 1
Mirror Image Vrock 4 (1 is self): 1d2 ⇒ 2

The 1st claw attack is diverted by the last of Vrock 4's mirror images, 2nd claw attack misses. Total of 15 points to Vrock 4 after DR.

Vrock Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Shaken Rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Botting Lucija, she attempts to trip up Vrock 3 by summoning several wickedly sharp chains from another dimension! She will use one of her Spirits of Wine to boost the CL by 1. This results in the third chain striking, tripping the Vrock and causing it to become Shaken for 3 rounds (the slashing from the chains don't get past my DR)

Chaine Turn Breakdown:
Chaine wrote:
"Huh... I hope that's alright, Mighty Battle Cat?"

The Foo lion just turns and gives Chaine perhaps the most dirtest look one could possibly imagine a neutral good outsider giving to someone in a situation like this. "Mighty Battle Lion, if you don't mind," it says haughtily as it corrects Chaine in a cultured Common accent.

You attack lands and deals full damage. AoO will also hit you for 10 points.

Greater Overrun, Haste, MBS; vs. Vrock 4; sharing space with Emyla via Narrow Frame feat

There is a 5 foot radius Emergency Force Sphere around her at the moment, Silvermane is unable to share that space. You will have to up and over if you want to be in that general area. It does exceed my CMD by 5, for those that want to take an AoO on Vrock 4 (now with 100% less mirror images!)

Torrag Turn Breakdown:
Vrock 3 Reflex: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 10 - 2 = 9 Welp, that was fun. Take 39 points of damage after Resistance.

Qatala Turn Breakdown:
Vrock 4 AoO vs. Qatala: 1d20 + 13 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 13 - 4 = 21

Botting Qatala's action. Applies oil of good align weapon to her whip and moves up within melee range of prone Vrock 4, not even blinking as its AoO misses horrendously.

Vrock Turn Breakdown:
Vrock Reflex Save vs. Acid Burn: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 10 - 2 = 13
Moar Acid Damage: 5d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 4, 3, 4) = 22

Concentration Check Vrock 3: 1d20 + 12 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 3 = 16

Both Vrocks attempt to defensively teleport to more advantageous positions, but both lose their spells with a sparkle of glitter and a fart noise!

Action item: PC's adjacent to prone Vrock 4 may make AoO's against it from Greater Overrun.

Initiative Order:

Awww... after watching this video I want to find a way to give Silvermane some wings now! :) Monstrous Companion feat is so dam weak though... A pegasus has neat abilities, but 30 something hit points just won't cut it at our level... any way to actually add wings to Silvermane? magic item or otherwise? :P

Foo Lion softens up Vrock 4, and Qatala takes care of the rest with her now-good-aligned whip slicing through the demon's defenses like butter!

After attacks, Vrock 3 would be left with 106 points of damage. The Greater Overrun would not be enough to knock it prone, but it only has about 6 HP left afterwards, so I will call this combat in your all's favor!

The rest of the Foo Lion, Silvermane, and Chaine make quick work of the other overwhelmed Vrock; while Emyla seriously summoning some unseen servants to squeegee the surfaces of her Emergency Force Spheres in the future!

The other groups of Pathfinders battling in the chamber seem to have the situation under control, while the fluctuating portal still wavers... ominously.

Out of Initiative! You all are certainly welcome to wait out the end of the special (most likely being called this evening), or you can try...hard mode.

OK, there really isn't a hard mode, per se. Just another encounter you could go into. Would not recommend, unless you want the bragging rights of actually killing the Glabrezu you banished!

***OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT***

The wicked glabrezu Katazuul, pierced by ballista bolts and scorched by spells, collapses as her portal sputters and closes. A moment later, a brass horn sounds a triumphant fanfare to announce that the fiend-flesh army has been routed. The march back to Absalom is a jubilant one, though rumors are running wild through the streets as to exactly who the invaders were, what they wanted, and why undead spies sprang to life shortly after beacons appeared around Skyreach. Despite rampant speculation of the Grand Lodge’s involvement in the invasion, the citizens as a whole recognize the heroism with which Pathfinder agents personally averted disaster and rode at the vanguard of the city’s victorious forces. Absalom’s primarch Lord Gyr—whom few remember seeing during the attack—remains silent on the matter, though Siege Lord Wynsal Starborn delivers a speech within the hour personally recognizing the Society’s key role in protecting the City at the Center of the World.

At the Grand Lodge, Ollysta Zadrian recounts news of the victory. “Soon after we stormed the siege castle and slew Katazuul, Absalom’s navy from Escadar arrived and sank what remained of the undead armada. Once again, Absalom has prevailed in the face of adversity!” Raising her armored fist in celebration, Zadrian shouts: “For Absalom! Absalom! Absalom!”

Master of Swords Marcos Farabellus seems only to have grown more concerned since the siege began, and he confirms what many agents had discovered earlier. “Based on many reports from Pathfinders, we have a reason to believe the attack was a concerted effort driven by several enemies of the Pathfinder Society. We now know that it was Pasha Muhlia Al-Jakri—once a respected leader of many Pathfinders—who used the Black Echelon codebook to summon the undead saboteurs. We have reason to believe Grandmaster Torch was involved, at least enough that his minions attempted to usurp Gulgamodh to turn against Absalom. Finally, we learned the demons in the siege castle were vassals of a powerful demon that’s no stranger to the Society, and it is not difficult to deduce that ex-venture-captain Thurl had a hand in creating the fiend-flesh army. Today, we emerged victorious, and I assure you that we shall ascertain these villains’ true motives and put a stop to them.”

That’s the end! Thank you for playing, everyone, and a particular thank you to all the hardworking GMs and backup GMs that made made this special possible.
