Riddywipple, Emyla's familiar

Might I suggest please giving some of the scrolls/wands to Riddywipple? He’s got a UMD of 24. His actions spent in combat firing off scrolls/wands leaves main PCs’ actions free.

Chaine charges forward, both himself and his mount injuring the mounted minotaur rather severely! **Botting Activated** Lucija passes a shield spell to Naghamadi, who sinuously floats through the air to get cover behind a nearby ruined wall. Torrag unleashes a fireball in the midst of the enemies, the farther minotaur taking full brunt of the spell. The force of the spell causes the skeletal horses under the two minotaurs to burn away, with both minotaurs landing on their feet afterwards. Qatala moves swiftly through the enemies, all of them being too off-guard to make an attack against her. The monk attempts to trip the commander, but he appears to firm-footed for her to lose his balance.
The heavily injured minotaur unleashes a gout of flame into Chaine and Silvermane's face in a 30-foot cone. Meanwhile, the last mounted minotaur does a ride-by attack on its mount against Chaine, striking him rather soundly with its bastard sword! The distant minotaur tromps along to provide flanking with its commander against Qatala, missing rather badly in its attempt to strike her. The commander takes a 5-foot adjustment of position, utters a profane prayer, and reaches out with a hand now wreathed in ominous purple energy!
Not sure what Qatala's Touch AC is at the moment. If 31 hits touch, need a DC 19 Fortitude Save from her; 51 damage if fails or 21 if succeed. Also need a DC 16 Reflex from Chaine/Silvermane for 1/2 damage from breath weapon (8 fire damage). Emyla, I think I somehow duplicated your token and it was twice on the map; I kept the one I thought is your token, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Chaine downs the minotaur as he charges past, though Silvermane's attack is unable to get past it's target's defenses. Qatala once again attempts a flurry of attacks against the commander, but is only able to land a single simple strike with her whip. Riddywipple points his wand at his target that charged into the back ranks of the field, but the minotaur seems completely immune to the wand's effect; that minotaur also resists Emyla's attempt to grease its weapon. The commander adjusts 5-feet and raises its unholy symbol, causing a 30-foot radius burst of purple energy to rush from it; the wave passing over the minotaur without effect and washing painfully over Qatala, Chaine, and Silvermane! The minotaur next to Chaine and Silvermane attempts to strike the rider with his Bastard sword, but is unable to pierce his defenses. The mounted minotaur gallops by Lucija, landing a solid blow on her with its bastard sword!
Need a DC 15 Will Save from Qatala, Chaine, and Silvermane for 1/2 damage on the Channel (21 points if fail). Will need a DC 34 Concentration check for Lucija's spellcasting while damaged.

***OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT***
Fighting alongside the First Guard forces, Pathfinders have defeated many of the invading army’s commanders. Without their minotaur overseers to direct their wrath, many of the demon-flesh constructs slow—or even begin fighting one another. The victory is short-lived. Bellowing with Abyssal rage, a massive construct takes to the sky, for a moment blotting out the sun before landing messily atop a squad of the First Guard. The brute is shaped almost like a dragon, but its elongated body, misshapen limbs, bulbous head, and grotesque wings are all stitched together from demonic skin and flesh. It easily swats a dozen soldiers into the sky with one of its immense claws before roaring a second challenge.
As if sensing a worthy rival, the statuesque Gulgamodh flares with angry light and roars “Gulgamodh stands ready,” before leaping Absalom’s walls and lumbering to stand beside the ones who hold its key: the Pathfinders. Who among you is prepared to guide Gulgamodh’s hand?

Chaine's charge drops his target to the ground, while Emyla's conjured servants make quick work of the mounted minotaur. A gargantuan humanoid metal construct makes its way across the battlefield towards an equally sized demon-flesh creation, with your group smack dab in the middle of their collision path!
The Gulgamodh construct raises its arm cannon, firing a beam of energy that blazes across the battlefield towards the massive monster. Qatala, seeing the beam missing horribly, quickly dodges out of the way as the energy beam strikes the immediate area around the minotaur commander. The commander is instantly melted into slag on the spot, the sand in the area burned into glassy obsidian. The demon-flesh monstrosity swiftly flies through the area towards your group, while the Gulgamodh construct matching at a breakneck pace!

Riddywipple, Emyla's familiar
|
Riddywipple emerges from Emyla and takes out the recently-acquired scroll of Mass Bull’s Strength (prep round 1), yells out, ”Anyone wishing to be strong like bull gather round the lions!” then activates the scroll on the lions and any gathered Pathfinders (prep round 2). Finally, he takes out a wand of Magic Fang and uses it on the nearest Foo Lion ally (red; combat round 1)
@Chaine I didn’t see your request until I had my move typed up. Riddywipple can follow along and wand you starting on round 2!

temp HP: 1d8 ⇒ 4 x10=40
Emyla retrieves a scroll of Blood Rage and activates it on the Foo Lions (prep round 1). She casts a spell and starts flying (Fly; prep round 2). She then casts another spell and suddenly vanishes (Vanish [10 rounds]; combat round 1). Finally, she flies nearer to the demon flesh construct
Meanwhile, Emyla yells ”LIONS! Get into position to do to that vile construct what you do best: POUNCE! PATHFINDERS! please leave them a clear path!" (after buffing, the hastened lions double-move into positions with clear charging lanes on prep round 2/combat round 1 -- 160’ of movement each can get them into their current positions on the map, avoiding at least 20' of reach from the big baddie)
@GM is this demon flesh construct also True Neutral like the others (so I know for purposes of Smite Evil)?

Where's the sense in rolling 1d8X10 if the maximum is only 40?
Because the equation (1d8 x APL) is the same for ALL of the sub-tiers in the scenario. The scenario authors capped it at 40, which the only sub-tiers that actually run into that issue is Tiers 7-8 and 10-11. If you rolled anything higher than 40, it is maxed at 40 temp HP.
YOU get a prayer! And YOU get a prayer! Even I get a prayer! Everybody gets a PRAYER!
As far as I could find sifting through d20PFSRD and the Paizo forums, the only way you can share potion effects is through a Volatile Vaporizer; otherwise the imbiber is the only target of the potion even if the spell is normally able to affect multiple targets. If you can show me something that indicates otherwise, I would be happy to share the spell effect around. I also must profess that I have a rather amusing mental image of how Naghamadi is opening a potion bottle without hands (the outer head holds the bottle while the second head nips the cork out?), and I won't look too deeply into it for the sake of my sanity.
"Riddywhipple: wand me!" requests Chaine, moving to the location of the tiny dragon.
At the moment, it looks like he was unable to provide you the requested healing. As a healthcare professional I would recommend caution, rocking that temp HP, and calling your doctor in the morning.
@GM is this demon flesh construct also True Neutral like the others (so I know for purposes of Smite Evil)?
An Arcana check as spoilered above might answer that question for you.

Can i retcon my casting of trustrike as completly missed the critter was flying
At this point, no, as I began formatting my turn when I posted shortly prior to you posting this.
The Gulgamodh construct begins to hum with powerful intensity and starts to orient dangerously towards the demon-flesh creature. However, the group hears several loud voices from a nearby combat (sounding like other Pathfinders) waft into earshot on a breeze.
"Hey, George...what does this device Amenophus gave us do?"
"Well, Fred...he said it controls the Gull-gah-Mood-huh thingy."
"Duh...so...how does it work? Do I just flip this-"
Abruptly, the Gulgamodh construct does a pirouette in place and dances away uselessly towards a random non-combat location in the distance.
...Aaaand welcome to Tier 10-11, where the massive ally that could be useful doesn't help you at all in the combat!
The demon-flesh monstrosity watches this scene for a brief second, with what one could interpret as a quizzical look on its visage. This passes quickly as it now orients with hostility towards the remaining nearby Pathfinders!
Target (1 = Foo, 2 = Qatala, 3 = Chaine/nearby, 4 = Lucija/Torrag): 1d4 ⇒ 3
The creature flies northwest a bit and unleashes a 60-foot cone of caustic acid upon Chaine, Naghamadi, and Riddywipple!
Breath Weapon (Acid): 8d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 3, 4, 2, 2, 2, 3) = 19 (DC 18 for 1/2 damage)

Hi GM Irish, due to the power of geometry and the altitude of the beast, it looks like only Chaine/Silvermane got caught in the blast. If you want all 4 targets the beast has to land. See my hastily linked rotated pic for a 'view from the south' representation -- 'C' is for Chaine

Temp HP: 1d8 ⇒ 6 for 40 Temp HP
Know Arcana: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (20) + 20 = 40

Torrag flies up 15 feet and toward the creature to get a better view and casts Flesh to Stone on the demonic construct. FORT DC 22 negates.

Silvermane Reflex, Haste, Prayer: 1d20 + 11 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 11 + 1 + 1 = 18
Chaine retrieves a potion of fly. Silvermane drinks it and moves 30 feet up and 30 feet north V3 to P3 - altitude 30 feet Chaine retrieves a potion of cure serious wounds.

Qatala becomes one with the wind and darts through the sky towards massive flying creature. While she is nimble, her acrobatics aren't enough to avoid an opportunity attack!
Bite Attack: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (19) + 23 = 42
Bite Damage: 3d6 + 11 ⇒ (6, 5, 4) + 11 = 26
Free Grab vs. CMD: 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (19) + 35 = 54
Qatala, your action to attempt to land on the creature is a first for me; so I posed your situation to the GM's at large for the special on the GM discussion thread. The consensus I have reached from their suggestions is that you will need to make a CMB roll to land on the creature, similar to grappling. However, unless you have some boon that you would like to burn or the group wants to use, it appears I have you readily grappled in the creature's jaws.
Unless I know it's immune to magic:
Torrag, with your Arcana check you would know this creature possesses primarily construct traits and would be immune to the flesh to stone spell as it is immune to effects that require a Fortitude save. You are welcome to change your action if you would like.
Chaine Reflex, Haste, Prayer: 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 7 + 1 + 1 = 26
Silvermane Reflex, Haste, Prayer: 1d20 + 11 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 11 + 1 + 1 = 18
Chaine, until established that potions can affect others beyond the imbibers, only Naghamadi is benefitting from prayer at the moment; which would cause Silvermane to not make the check.
Due to the amount of people with pending actions, I am extending the deadline for posting until tomorrow.

The invisible, hastened, flying Emyla dashes over near the magic-fanged Foo Lion (red) and casts Fly on it. The lion flies over near Chaine and Silvermane, giving itself a lane from which to pounce. The other earthbound Foo Lions look at each other, not knowing what to do.

They just need to make a DC 10 Fly check to remain flying. It doesn't even need to roll to make it. It also defaults the check to hover as well.

Qatala fall damage: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 5) = 10
Torrag's disintegrate spell slams into the creature, causing a large portion of its demonflesh body to slough off into dust. It remains in the air, though certainly more unsteady than previously. **Botting Activated** Lucija begins opening another rift to bring forth more allies (probably thinking SM V given the situation, but flexible on which one she prefers), while Naghamadi darts across the battle field to advance but remain in the lee of one of the ruined walls for cover. Her lantern archons let off disapproving crystalline jangling noises as they also dart forward, firing off their lasers at the monstrosity; both hitting the creature and letting off sizzling sounds as they strike.
Meanwhile, up in the air, the monstrosity actually lets go of Qatala from its jaws; causing her to fall to the ground 30 feet below. (Can make acrobatics check to reduce fall damage, 10 if unsuccessful or 5 if successful; most likely prone unless have an ability) The creature then tucks in its wings and plummets straight down like a rock; flaring its wings open again at the last minute as it immediately unleashes a flurry of attacks upon the monk. Pounces downwards 10 feet. Looking at the dice rolls, it might have Qatala grappled again and taking 67 additional damage.

I was looking into your wind jump ability, it only lasts for the duration of your movement actions on your turn; if you did not end your movement on solid ground it stops and you begin falling. Hence, you would not have any flight from it left during the monster's turn. Please let me know if there is anything describing the ability otherwise.
