Alright, it's been quite some time since we've heard from some people. Everyone please make a post in the next 24 hours.

"Well done, Pathfinders! I imagine you want something more action-oriented for your next mission? Well, I have just the job for you. We’re still a little short on funds and we need to make some quick coin! If you’re daring enough, head over to the Alabaster District and enter a monster baiting competition at the Serpent’s Run coliseum. The Master of Games, Axetongue Droaeb, has offered a decent sized purse to adventurers willing to get in the ring with one of his ferocious beasts. As always, this event draws a tremendous crowd, one whose coin will more than double the purse he pays to contest participants.“
.
.
.
You make your way to Axetongue Droaeb's arena, where he greets you. "Ah, hello Pathfinders! Perhaps you like to make some money in a more...exciting way?  You get in the ring, you fight one of my critters. A basilisk was scheduled for today, but the damn wizard never showed up! So, I upgraded the fight, and the crowd is quite pleased! You're facing a hydra I acquired last week, and I'll pay you 1000gp. All you have to do is make the fight last for at least six rounds, you got it? People gotta have time to eat their popcorn and drink their beer, know what I mean? " The large man pats his belly and grunts. " Anyway, if you can make the fight last six rounds, the money's all yours. I'll even pay you a bonus for every extra round it goes! So, whatdya say?"

The cruel man laughs. " Don't worry, son. She has fangs. Better hope you won't feel them! " Soon after, you step into the arena, and suddenly you understand how Droaeb can afford to pay so much: the stands are packed. You can see food and drink vendors doing a brisk business as they move up and down the aisle, and the lines at concession stands are long enough that people in the back are giving up and going back to their seats so they don't miss any of the action. The crowd cheers when you're introduced, and then starts chanting "HYDRA! HYDRA!". Droaeb waits for your thumbs-up, then signals to have to large wooden gate at the other end opened. When the latch is thrown, the gate bursts open, clattering against the walls as a large, five-headed beast bursts forth out into the sunlight, bellowing in rage!

Knowledge Arcana, DC 10 :
Hydras are magical beasts, normally huge-sized, and this is no exception. You know that when a head is severed, two new ones grow back in 1d4 rounds unless five points of acid or fire are applied to the stump.   For every 5 by which you beat the DC you may ask another question.

A note on the creature: you see 5 heads on long necks. To sever one requires a sunder check, with a slashing weapon, as if they were weapons.

ROUND 1 COMPLETE

I won't be able to post later tonight, so I am updating now and moving us on to the next round. Those who haven't posted, please take two rounds.

The Hydra roars in defiance and shuffles forward toward it's prey. Being such an enormous creature, it moves very slowly. That does not reduce the fear of those five mouths of very sharp teeth, however. The ten foot long necks reach out, snapping at thin air. The crowd continues to roar for blood. "HYDRA! HYDRA! HYDRA!"

Suddenly, it charges Reaper! The enormous mass of death flies towards the Oread. He stands strong and attempts to defend himself from the onslaught.

Despite the magic in Fingalad and Grey's blades, they are not strong enough to pierce the Hydra's thick armor. Thankfully, Grey's stalwart companion, Lucy, comes to their rescue. The valiant pig charges the Hydra, then backs up and gores the Hydra once again.

Blood fills the air, spraying off Lucy's tusks. The crowd's allegiance turns, shouting " PIGGY! PIGGY! PIGGY! " The crowd distracts the monster, and a head looks up, irritated, at the crowd. Then, Reaper's sword wipes it from existence and the lifeless head drops to the ground.

Sunder successful!

The monster rears up in pain, fighting the urge to pass out. Taking advantage of this moment, Bennybeck and Vogue stab at the creature. Both connect, sending spurts of blood out. At this point, the crowd starts booing. "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! HYDRA! HYDRA! HYDRA! "

how did it get 5 attacks if we cut off a head?

"One more, Reaper!" Fingalad shouts. He murmurs a spell and disappears. Invisibly, he drops his bow and rushes in, pulling out his naginata. With a whisper, magic runes spring up along the handle.

Hehehe, whoops! Good catch.

Dead Head: 1d5 ⇒ 1

Bennybeck's head was dead, so that attack is nulled. Not that is changes anything, because it missed.

ROUND 4 COMPLETE

Bennybeck, Vogue and Pazacku stab up at the monster, sending more hydra blood down to wet the arena sand. Fingalad takes advantage of the distraction and slips from view. Reaper moves to decapitate another head, but slips on the spilled blood.

The Hydra staggers, having a hard time focusing on the many harassers. Suddenly, it releases a guttural scream as Lady Lucy slams into the monster with her tusks. The beast falls to the ground, unable to stay awake any longer. It continues to bleed from Bennybeck's wound as a hush falls over the crowd.

A moment later, an enormous booing noise fills the arena! The crowd begins to throw popcorn and beer at the party, angry that the show ended so soon. The announcer's voice returns. " ONLY TWENTY FOUR SECONDS! THIS GROUP MAY HAVE SET A NEW RECORD! UNFORTUNATE FOR THE CROWD, BUT FORTUNATE FOR THE FOOLS!"

The din is distracting, but the fight appears to be over...

The PCs in bold may act. Anyone, in bold, who does not act within 24 hours will be botted, for sake of time.

"Be brave.my friends! We need to cover the spread on this one, the Society is counting on us," he calls out as the holy warrior steps forward and draws upon the divine powers within him to heal the savage beast.

Reaper looks at Vogue. "Bah, can't let the pretty boy be the good guy all alone, he might let it get to his head"

He loosens his shield and plants the longsword in the dirt and then touches the Hydra. And casts Cure Light Wounds as well.

As Reaper stands up, he says, "Of course Siltherbane wants a lick of you before the day is done," and he draws his large flail.

Drop his current weapon and shield, cast, then draw his flail
