Preacher lets out a low whistle as the painting/Wulessa pulls itself from the wall to reveal an opening. "You don't see that everyday...."
Reloading his musket, he follows after the bold striding one, keeping a sharp out for trouble.

The passage opens upon a tunnel to oblivion. The smooth glass walls stretch fifty or sixty feet, ending abruptly in a maw open to the void. The crystalline structure floating in the void’s heart somehow hovers mere feet away from the tunnel’s end. From this close, it resembles a torus of jagged crystals, slowly revolving around a core of flashing light and mist.
It doesn't speak, merely manifesting images of your friends and family looking disappointed, shaking their heads, or sighing in frustration. It then readies a longspear in its hands and moves to attack!

Preacher draws down and fires a bullet at the Archivist, putting cracks in the crystalline structure of its body.
In response, the Archivist makes a gesture, almost like a holy sign that Melody recognizes as something she has done when calling upon her goddess to heal the injured. There is a white glow and some of the cracks in creature's body fade.

The snowball strikes it solidly, but the Archivist seems somewhat resistance to the cold it inflicts.
Reavis grabs a bomb and hurls it, but the archivist raises one of his free hands and snatches the bomb right out of the air. Snatch arrows
Sindarintol charges his sword and casts an icy spell, but the ray misses the nimble creature. His question for the Archivist is ignored. Melody casts a protection spell over everyone while Senjin drinks a potion, enlarges, and advances.
The Preacher fires his pistol and injures the Archivist again!
Lowering its spear, the creature stabs at Senjin twice, then lashes out with two claws as well!

Seeing that his snowball does't quite work as anticipated, Braugher closes the gap and tries to cut down the Archivist with his claws.

Sindarintol has a vision of his death, and considers curling up and praying not to die. Melody's protection from evil saved you from two hits last round (your AC should be AC 21, which means you are still up at 6hp.
