Hawkson finds no lingering traps, but seconds after the elemental is destroyed a wave of energy rolls off the statue. fortitude saves please.
As the party begins the next bit of re-attuning the vault Grimdoc and Pai hear a chanting from the previous room.
A black fiery sphere surrounds Ascalar, who calmly sits in its center.
1d3 ⇒ 3 A black font of smoke opens next to him and three hellhounds bound out from it.
ini A: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
ini H: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9
The two have decided they can wait no longer, and must take you out before you re-attune the portal and prevent their allies from controlling the Hao-Jin Tapestry.
Fort save will happen every round, failure causes the sickened condition. If you are counting rounds, this happens on the fourth round after entering the room. Roll initiative and (most likely you will beat the villains) post an action.

Lillian recognized the fiery globe as one that will prevent under-powered spells and chooses another course of action. Pai draws arcane energy, shapes it to her will and puts it on here allies. Everyone feels the world slowing down around them.
Haelvora completes her spell and two hellhounds bite at Maximo. The third spouts a cone of flame catching the paladin and illusionist in its blast. The first two fiends miss Maximo, maybe the hounds spend too much time fighting among themselves to figure out which one gets to go first.
Ascalar seems to do nothing, yet he splits into multiple copies of himself.
Haris heals himself with the wand as Grimdoc shouts and moves toward his enemies declaring a judgement? if so which one? Also the hellhounds are 10 in front of you (pai currently blocking) Haelvora is 20 feet from you (two hellhounds & pai blocking) but 30 feet in the air. Ascalar is in the square to her right, at ground level (one hh & pai/maximo blocking)

It is not an end all action (if it was Maximo would have left the game before getting far enough for credit! :). But I will say that this has definitely changed her tactics and much for the worst.
Haris, Rysalius killed the final fiend. Would you like to direct your attack at the cleric or the sorcerer instead (neither gets flanked.) the second attack would require a full round action, but the first one looks good.
Pai, the globe around Ascalar will prevent 1st level spells from affecting him. Lillian has already identified this (& in the spirit of cooperate I assume she shared that info.) You can target him with a higher level spell if you would like (4th & above).
