@Gayel - Thanks! :) Appreciate the help!

@Solly - Yeah thats a funky build. I have an Eagleknight who started as a Bard-Barian, and he's terrific fun, but the Solly build kills it - so epic :) I'll totes be ripping it off some time.

It started with me trying to make a power attacking bard-arian. After a few really stupid decisions early on when I hit level 10 I did some retraining and made sure it all was a significant upgrade. Seems to work out pretty well. Probably would have been better if I opted to be an Urban Skald or Spell Warrior, but he was pretty obsessed with the Horn of Aroden in season 5.

I chose my rage powers to give maximum maneuverability and made sure that at least 1 of them was useful but somewhat optional. Then I make heavy use of Flexible Fury to handle specific tough encounters. For healing I have a Poet's Cloak with Lesser Celestial Totem which adds level to healing. Couple that with Path of Glory and it's basically a total party heal over the course of a minute.

I also make heavy use of Harmonic Spell and Lingering Performance to allow myself to use my performance and finales as often as possible. As a result I don't actually do anything myself, but it makes everyone else super-awesome.

Cool stuff. I've been trying to make an awesome Skald. I will have to look at your build carefully, Solomon!

I am the ultimate manager. I stand back and tell everyone how to do things better, give inspirational speeches, then show up right as things are almost done and pretend to help.

I think my goal is to burn my last round of performance on the last round of the scenario. Saul is gonna need a really long rest after this one.

As I said in the form, last minute pickup of a special is a big deal. Doubly so when it's tier 10-11. Thanks for running this for all of us!

Time for the home stretch... lets crack this puzzle or die trying! If Saul is going to face his bitter end he had better do it in a dramatic finale. With an epic soundtrack. And explosions.

When I play this character in person I usually just let the players do all of their own math and then I add in the rage bonuses afterwards. This is my second time playing this character in PbP instead of in person and my first time playing him in such a rough scenario.

My ex-post facto bonus distribution engine is kicking into overdrive!

Once Starfinder comes out I'm definitely making and android equivalent of this character named Buff-Bot 9000 or something similar.

Just to confirm, Svetlana is still alive, right? If she's dead, I'm gonna go hit her with a breath of life scroll. If she's alive, I'm hitting her with the cure critical wounds wand.

She is, she is even still conscious due to the rage, but if the rage drops she's close to if not dead.

Since we've got Ragniori for spot heals as well, I think we can take one more fossil golem fight after this. If your strategy goes as planned we probably have two more left in us. I'm down to give it a shot. I think we're just waiting on Avelina this round to see who gets crit by the dinorock, but after that we can take another shot at the puzzle sphere and then try out attack pattern invisible ambush. If we're lucky she can crit it with a snowball and kill it before it gets a turn.

Come on... I wasn't being serious...

I'm imagining over half of the party reaching for their Breath of Life equivalents and then all sighing in relief.

After this golem, and solving another round worth of puzzles. I am okay with falling back. That last hit was pretty close to being serious.

VC - Sydney, Australia

Yeah the Double Crit Hit was a bit crazy. They seem to like spamming some really tedious creatures - not sure if I hate the Golemathon or the De-levelling guardians more.

Dark Archive

It's not great at 3-4 where the monsters are caryatid columns. You have to hope your weapons survive the initial wave so that you can use their stone swords against other waves.

VC - Sydney, Australia

That really sucks

At least now I've got a couple full heals back, although they are over the course of a minute, not a few rounds. I'd be good to try Sielan's strategy once on a final wave since it seems low risk, and then book it while we can still protect ourselves.

I'm fine with pushing a bit harder. While the last hit was serious, it still a pretty good outcome for the strong enemy getting a crit with every attack.
