Moments later a blast of fire fills the ancient chamber. One of the skeletons evaporates into a charred heap of fragmented bones. The other monster is not able to dodge behind the column. Its skin starts to burn and it howls in the most unnatural of ways and crumples to the ground in a heap of burning flesh.

The other blue monster bounds down the ancient hall with amazing speed and finds Ahna in it's path.

There is also a golden sheet with runes etched into it. A DC 20 Knowledge (Planes) check.

Ahna studies the golden sheet. It oozes with history and mysticism. It appears to be a ritual that is meant to attract something beyond the starts. The ritual is actually easy to perform once you realize its purpose. It will restore the use of some of your mystic powers.
Takes one minute to perform, and you get 1d2+1 uses of your mystic power back. Usable only once per week.

At this point you have a few options-
You can retrace their steps and can return to the cliff, infer where the buried door opens, and climb around the mountain to reach it.

Also- here are the stats for the Dust of Disjunction: This fine powder looks like crushed diamonds. A single handful of this substance can be thrown in a 15-foot cone, at which point it attempts to absorb and neutralize any magic it comes in contact with. The magical properties of each unattended magic item in the area are suppressed for 1d4 rounds as if targeted by dispel magic spell (caster level 10th). Each creature in the area is affected as if by a targeted dispel magic, though the user cannot specify a spell effect to dispel; if a target has no spells affecting it, the dust instead attempts to suppress the abilities of one magic item carried by the target, selected at random following the rules for items surviving a saving throw (Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook 217). The dust does not affect other ongoing magical effects. Dust of disjunction h as a curious effect on golems, which also demonstrate anti-magical properties. A golem exposed to this dust must succeed at a DC 17 Fortitude save or be staggered for 1 minute. At the end of its turn, a staggered golem may attempt a new saving throw to end the staggered effect.

Yep Lets see if this map is better... MAP
That should be a small file. The monster is just to your north. The token to your west represents the skeleton body.

DrGabe:
I’m confused as to how far away the creature is. Is it at the top of a 50’ plateau and then an additional 15-ish feet away from us? (I managed to open the map in MS Paint).

That seems like a long way for a standard breath weapon to still be able to reach us – unless it’s a MYTHIC creature or something?

"Melee and ranged options seem improbable - except for Lore's fire attacks. I say let’s move out of breath weapon range behind the dead monster for cover and let that thing come to us. It doesn’t look like it can fly.”

Eadie waits to hear the opinions of her friends. Delay until before the monster’s turn.

Sorry gang, I didn't realize how big that file was. Dropbox wasn't liking sharing that I think: Another MAP!
This should be better. Eadie, the encounter is written pretty strange with an opening rock throw or breath weapon. The monster is still perched up on the ledge but it is a monstrous (15' reach/space). DnD math is a strange concept. Lets say that that beast is 35' away even though its square is 50' up. Doesn't even come close to making sense but lets stick with that. His first action is engage in HtH so this is only an issue during round one.
And, the monster is Mythic adjusted once and again for 4 players.

Thanks so much for the clarification, DrGabe. The map works fine for me now.

In a panicked voice, Eadie screams. “FALL BACK TO COVER!” before cracking her snapleaf. Immediate action invisibility for 5 minutes

Instead of retreating, she advances towards the beast. After deducing the path it will take towards the party, she stops 5’ out of its way and raises her falchion above her head, readying an action to strike the creature as it moves through a square she threatens.

Hoping for the readied action to go off and to take an AoO from the cover of invisibility, DrGabe.

Eadie, you will get an AoO. So go ahead and roll your dice. Waiting on Lore. If we don't hear word from her soon someone can give an order for her.
