Zen'yr casts a rather long incantation, staring at the frontmost demon while she does so.
These are dretches, the lowliest of demons. You get two questions
Ketill fires an arrow, which makes a hissing sound as the arrowhead buries itself into the demon flesh. Kellan enchants Talon. Vayu blasts the demon in the face, but it looks unaffected. Ilya hacks with her cold iron blade, and cuts a deep gash in the neck of the demon, bringing it to its knees.

Kellan calmly walks up and decapitates each of the demons. "I will not suffer such abominations be left on this plane. Let's get out of here... this place is cursed."

"We still need to investigate that area at the end of the southern hallway. Let's go there"
| DM Kludde |
The party finishes off the two sleeping demons, then moves out of the crypt and into the hallway. Their progress is immediately blocked by three fighters - clearly aasimars - that have moved into the other end of the hallway. Stop right there, interlopers.
Aasimar are typically not associated with evil demon worshipers...
Vayu

"Oh thanks the gods! Finally someone with some reason!", exclaims Vayu in an attempt to determine the Aasimar's affiliations. Not knowing if the Aasimar are with or against the cult, Vayu is trying to separate the party from the cult activities while not blatantly opposing what the cult is doing.
He tries to determine their intentions.

Dakang has sent us to deal with the threatening interlopers. Why do you defile Korada's most sacred site? the warriors says threateningly.
The warriors appear convinced of their cause, but bear no evil intent in them. They are devout, and seem true to their faith.
Kellan Demonbane
|
"Interlopers? But we just learned that everyone here is worshipping a demon lord!! I would think you'd want to interlope in that as well!"
Ketill
|
"Can I show you some books from the library? See, they have been altered with"
Showing them the changes in the books if they allow us
Vayu
|
"We even cleaned up the garden a little", Vayu offers, "You can see the little spinny symbol now.", he says while making a circular motion with his hand.
| DM Kludde |
Demon lord? What are you talking about? Master Dakang is the purest of leaders, he would not allow demon worship in this place of sanctity!
When Ketill chimes in, the warrior say these are serious allegations. What other proof do you have?
Kellan Demonbane
|
"Also, we just fought three demons that accosted us in that room over there! How could those demons have been summoned here if all of the monks have the purest of hearts?"
Ketill
|
"Indeed, the symbol that the acolytes paint on their own faces. Did you know that that symbol is exactly like the symbol Sifkesh, the demon lord of heresy and suicide. Haven't you noticed that those markings look remarkably like stitches?"
| DM Kludde |
That. That is an affront! We cannot tolerate this!
If what you say is true - and you've convinced us that it is - you must drive out the impostor. There is a fountain in the chapel. We can activate it for you. If your faith is pure, the waters will grant a blessing.
The blessing of the water serves as a 'bless weapon' (CL 10) spell.
We will grant you free passage to his quarters... we serve him no longer!
Kellan Demonbane
|
"Well then, let's go take care of this problem permanently. I will not have people worshipping a demon lord if I can prevent it. Especially if it is without their knowledge. Aasimar friends... do you think that this Dakang is tricking the others here into this false worship, or are they all in on it?"
Ketill
|
"My devotion to Sarenrae is burning bright in me!" Ketill stops by the fountain and prays shortly to his deity, that she may burn falsehood and deceit wherever it is found.
Ilya Akyll
|
Ilya places her temple sword in the water. "Irori, please lend me your strength."
After taking her sword out, Ilya gets another idea. She places her arms in the water, saying another prayer.
Putting my legs in is probably going a bit too far... Yeah, definitely.
Unarmed strikes are treated as light weapons, and bless doesn't state manufactured weapons are required. So it should work! :)
Vayu
|
Vayu submerges his ammunition in the water, "By Abadar I anoint this metal so it can cleanse this place!"
I think it's ammunition instead of weapon. I suppose he does his regular rounds, not the paper catridges. He will submerge all his regular, cold iron, silver bullet, and dragon pistol shot
Not being sure though, he dips both his pistols and reloads them.
| DM Kludde |
Do you want to take any special approach to Dakang's chambers (area A14)?
Ketill
|
"Do you really think that you should submerge your weaponry in the fountain? I would say a devotion to your god would suffice."
Just to be sure Ketill splashes a bit of water over his bombs and bow.
"Ilya, shall I use your wand on you? This might get nasty.

Zen'yr

Zen'yr will dip her crossbow in the fountain, as well as her longspear.
Zen'yr will touch Ilya on the shoulder and impart a fleeting thought on her psyche.
Using Mirror trick on Ilya
Thoughts on approach anyone.
Vayu
|
"We should hit him fast and hard ... focus everything on him. Maybe we won't have to kill the rest if we take him out. It looks like our only way in is through his front door, or from the balcony in the main hall. I don't remember seeing any windows outside for another route."
"Once the fight starts it looks like we could have ... what, fifteen or more of his followers descend upon us. Can anyone disable him via spell in some way? If we could take him down quietly that would do wonders to keep us from fighting the rest."
Vayu casts longstrider on himself, and will cast Bless just before we act.
Ketill
|
"Sorry, quiet fighting is not really my style. Can we ask these aasimar's to refuse entrance to the cultists?"
Ketill will also drink his extract of bomber's eye just as the door is opened

I move forward to get a clear view of the room, while drawing a scroll as I go. When I see the mass amount of bodies in the room, I sigh as I see Kellan standing next to a zombie.
Kellan, forgive me. Your heritage should help.
I read from the scroll, hoping to recite it correctly and not have it blow up in my face. I manage to speak it perfectly and a small ball goes flying towards the back of the room and soon detonates into a small ball if heat and flame, scorching everything in the room.

Okay, on the map everybody is still outside of the room, and only Ketill and Ilya have line of sight with Dakang. I've reduced icon size a bit to make the wall a bit more visible. The only way to get sight of the room, currently, is to move into the room. I don't really know what to do with the actions of Kellan, Redke or Zen'yr. Can you please restate how you want to move about?

Vayu's current move is 55 so ...
Vayu runs out and through the temple room, and onto the balcony. He is trying to pull back the curtain for a shot, he will hold off on pulling it back until next round.

@ Zen'yr: 11 is three different rooms. The door behind Ketill opens into 10x5 sleeping quarters it looks like. We have not been in it yet ... probably a tarrasque in there.

Kellan finds herself unable to act, and loses the element of surprise. Ilya moves into the room with swiftness, but the quickness of the zombie surprises her as she hits only air.
Vayu hides behind the curtain (But please also mind the curved wall that is directly behind the curtain on the west side). Redke move to Ilya's old position and send a number of pebbles flying at the cleric. Zen'yr waits for a spot to clear up.
