Zoren advances into the room as the southern Dretch mutters guttural words causing a noxious cloud to spread right on top of Zoren. The Dretches seem to be unphased by the poisonous cloud.

The red box is the cloud. Need a DC 13 Fort save from everyone or be Nauseated for as long as you are in the cloud + 3 rounds

Z'hor'll was just about to speak, when the dretch lets forth with his vile gas attack. "They are demons... dretches! Use cold iron or Good weapons on them! Hit 'em hard before they summon more! Don't bother with fire, acid, or cold!"

Z'hor'll goes over his options, continues his Inspire Courage, and decides he needs to use his cold iron dagger rather than his rapier. He knows that he isn't great in hand to hand combat, but with others running away, he may be the best the team has. He figures that Ishingka can handle the one next to her.

"I...stay..flank!" Ishingka says this painfully and wipes away bile from her lips. She goes into her bloodrage, staying where she is, coughing and shaking.

alistar moves to help Z'hor'll

Adriana, Zoren and Ishingka move about trying to keep whatever food they had in their stomachs where it should stay. The noxious cloud allowing them to do little else but gag.

Z'Hor'll continues his victorious chant as he slides his dagger into the creatures flesh.

Alistar moves further into the room. easily able to overcome the fumes.

The two dretches claw and bite at the singing bard. Two of the creatures claws dig into the Undine's flesh. Z'Hor'll staggers back from the claws momentarily but somehow stays on his feet. You are at 0 HP and disabled.

Moved out of the fog, turn end.

Looking incredulously at the gaping wounds he has suffered, Z'Hor'll takes a 5' step away from the two drenches, towards the door to the NE. He then pops his wand of cure lights out of his wrist sheath, and uses it on himself. CLW wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
He continues his inspire courage, hoping that someone will soon be coming to his aid.
"Help!"

Angry, Zoren is barely able to hold his lunch but is also holding himself back from going to back Z'hor'll up.

Cursing their bad luck, Ishingka drops her bloodrage and retreats. Can't get out of the cloud this round unless Zoren moves.

"I have a tanglefoot bag..." she manages to gasp. "Or knock down...shelves..."

Zoren moves backward to allow Ishingka to get out of the cloud.

Adriana retreats from the cloud while Zoren continues backing out of the way, while he continues to gag.

Ishingka stumbles her way to the edge of the cloud.

Z'Hor'll steps back as he gasps out his words of courage. he barely sounds convincing at the moment as he pulls a wand from his wrist. Slightly curing his wounds.

Alistar stabs at the creature but fog envelops his vision causing him to miss the fleshy blob.

The fog completely dissipates and you are now able to breath normal air again though Adriana, Zoren and Ishingka still feel quite sick.

Might as well just skip my turn, having only a move action for the next 3 rounds is awfully limiting.

Still gagging, Zoren moves up, ready to get back into the fray.

Needing to help this desperate situation (until the hitters are done puking, that is), Z'hor'll casts Hydraulic Push to trip the western (injured) Dretch using Hydraulic Maneuvers.

And the dretch falls!

Also, he lets his inspire courage lapse until the combatants are back and fighting.

Still gagging and swaying unsteadily from side to side, not to mention shaking from fatigue, Ishingka reels back through the shelves, her motions not dissimilar to a seasick landlubber stumbling belowdecks. She nearly falls onto Zoren, but remains upright.

Fatigued 2 rounds, Nauseated 3...I'll do what I can to absorb a hit...

SIGH. You should have stayed toe to toe and attacked the one that I tripped. You'd have gotten +4 to hit! AND an AOO if it stood up, or it gets -4 to hit if it doesn't. That was the whole point of it, tactically.

Adriana continues to vomit in the entrance to the room as she leans on the makeshift throne.

Zoren begins to move back into the fight as Ishingka tries to move back into the room holding onto an unsteady Zoren.

Z'Hor'll pulls on an innate power within himself as a small stream of water leakes out from the cracks in the room and drag the Dretch to the ground.

Alistar drops his sword and steps back firing an arrow at the fallen Dretch. The arrow clatters off of the floor in front of the Dretch. Prone opponents actually gain +4 to AC against ranged attacks.

The western Dretch stands as both demons move in against Alistar. The western Dretch sinks it's sharp teeth into Alistar as it rips a decent amount of flesh from his shoulder and neck.

Given the tactical situation, Z'hor'll decides a temporary retreat is at hand. He moves behind Ishingka, avoiding the temptation to give her a little pinch, but then realizing perhaps she might need some help keeping her hair out of her vomit.

To make sure he's in the best possible shape, he again uses his wand of cure lights on himself.

I just realized that nauseated creatures don't threaten. Flanking and AoO's are null and void. Man, this sucks!

Ishingka stands her ground, her fatigue beginning to lift, but her innards continue to roil. She barely notices the bard slip by in her bilious haze, but gives a small, pained nod.

Being the hardest to hurt, Zoren stays where he is to give the others time to get ready.

Zoren and Ishingka stay where they are while Alistar withdraws

The two demons advance on Alistar and Zoren as they bite at both of them. The demon bites a gaping wound out of Alistar as he falls to the ground bleeding.

"I can do little but stand here," gasps Ishingka to Zoren and Z'hor'll, waving them on.

No longer feeling like he is going to lose his lunch, Zoren strikes at the dretch in front of him, wielding his morningstar with two hands. Morningstar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 221d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 CRIT CONFIRM?: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11The dretch that attacked him is the one in front of him.

Adriana moves about the room while Zoren, with renewed strength slices his blade into the demon's fleshy body. The creature gurgles as it falls to the floor.

Alistar continues to bleed out on the ground as the Dretch stands it bites at Z'Hor'll but seems unsteady on it's feet as it misses the Undine.

Itching to post, but I feel it's sporting to let Zoren roll his dice first. …wait, GM, how does the Dretch get a bite at Z'Hor'll…isn't he too far away? I thought there would only be an AoO made by Zoren as the Dretch rises. Well, Alistar would have gotten an AoO too, I think, if he wasn't dying. Anyhow, he missed.

Definitely not dead YET. being at 2 hp on a CON of 12 is a long way from being dead. Don't worry, you'll get healed.

I am guessing he meant Zoren -- two 'Z' names, easy to confuse!

Seeing that Alistar is down, Z'hor'll is torn between healing the ranger, and starting up his inspire courage. heal check: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (1) + 0 = 1. Concerned that Alistar will die before he can be healed, Z'hor'll chooses to heal him first.
