Riddywhipple deflates from his rage but despite the sudden fatigue seems more determined than ever. "We will hunt down this witch and end her days. Joking's over!"
The faery dragon leads the party to a rocky outcropping overlooking the stream. At the base of the outcropping is a patch of dense shrubbery, behind which is a narrow hole with recent tracks of both animals and humanoids leading to and from it. Those who worm their way into the hole find themselves in the mouth of a gloomy cave. The cave is filled with the horrific stench of rotting, meat, and the air is thick with flies.
I suggest we wait for Darvik's return for the boss fight :)

I'll do the same. Also, do I need to refresh Mage Armor? Not sure how much time has passed since the battle with the first undead Pegasus.
As the group prepares to climb through the narrow hole, Valjoen reaches into his backpack and draws out a wand. With a little tap, he feels much more protected.

Ok for mage armor but I won't allow buffs going off in minutes. You won't have time to cast it before the fight or it'll go off before it.
As you descend slowly, you discover that you are in a charnel house, littered with the corpses of all kinds of forest animals. A passage between the entry chamber and what seems to be the main cavern is lit by torches. When the PCs near this passage some of the corpses suddenly lurch to life and begin to advance.
When you get there, a horrible shouts at you, laughing, "I will peel off your skin! GYAHAHA how fun it was to turn the pegasi into zombies! Oh, I can't wait until Dijjit becomes undead so she can be sent back to eat her friends! GYAHAHAHAHA!" You can't find a way to know where the witch hides, her voice echoing on the cavern's walls.
Your little faerie dragon friend starts crying with pain and rage. He falls on the ground helplessly, cursing the witch, begging you to end her days! And at that very moment, three porcupine appear on the end of the tunnel.

Ulgrok huffs five feet forward in their chain shirt, grumbling over the ground and pulling out a bone-handled wand.
"May the spirits shine through you!" the shaman says as the wand's lip glows with a golden light before washing outwards in a circle thirty feet in radius, settling in and bringing forth feelings of courage and certainty.

Cirri hustles up the steps, then applies the wand of shield upon herself before dropping the stick. "Let's squish these critters quick- Valjoen, where are you going?" She sees the warrior flee. Man, he's been a punching bag for their mental effects recently... poor guy.
Cirri prepares to parry and riposte the porcupine as it closes in with her magically enhanced strength.

Cirri protects herself magically and moves, preparing against a threat. Darvik and Kel take care of another porcupine who falls, bashed, pierced and slashed to death. Valjoen flees in fear but Ulgrok catches him, soothing his feelings. Leepo throws a bomb at the witch but fails to connect, dealing only splash damage to her. Scritch misses his shot.
The witch disappears with a wide grin.
