Round 5 Summation
Yelena runs towards an area she believes she can draw the most attention, and calls for a bucket brigade to fight the fire. Several people start to move towards her, and you can see there are others already near the fire, fighting it and removing other flammable materials from the vicinty.
Pietro reloads and fires his crossbow at the warchanter. His shot misses the mark, as she moves up towards Gimble and Torillan.
The warchanter moves up, her whip cracking the air, and she snaps it off of Rogar's arm. 2 pts
Gimble's ray hits the warchanter, and she stumbles, rubbing her eyes to clear them.
The goblin pyro leaps over Khalad's low swing, right into the hammer blow from Rogar. The blow flips the little menace over, and he lands in a heap, dead.
Torillan's blow ends the pyro-clastic career of the goblin pyro in front of him.
Damage toll so far: Yelena -5, Khalad -4, Torillan -4, Rogar -2

Round 6
Yelena 22, bless, wounded
Pietro 13, bless
Warchanter 12, inspired
Gimble 11, bless
Khalad 11, bless, wounded
Torillan 9, bless, wounded
Rogar 4, bless, wounded
This round is a good example of where maybe waiting for init turn to post OR putting an if/then action may have been beneficial. Tor lost an action after he killed the goblin, may have been able to engage the warchanter with a move action. Having said that, the rounds have gone great so far, and this is a good time to work these things out - vs goblins.
Gimble Boddynock
Gimble takes a step back from the goblin warchanter. ”Ardourad-nen,” he intones as he makes a mystical gesture. A small orb of sizzling green liquid explodes from his hand and flies toward the warchanter.
Attack Roll: 1d20 - 4 + 5 ⇒ (14) - 4 + 5 = 15 (includes -4 penalty for firing into melee)
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3
Rogar Hammergun
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Then move to aid in putting out the fires.
If the warchanter is dead help Yelena round up townsfolk to aid in putting out the fires.
"Gather round....we need help with the bucket brigade to put out these fires!!!"
Diplomacy:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Old Guy GM
Splashed with acid, tripped, and skewered with 4.5 feet of steel, the warchanter dies with a final ...we be goblins, you be food... gurgling from her lips.
End of combat, 535 xp
The bucket brigade forms up quickly with the help of Rogar and Yelena. Led by Father Zantus, two dozen townsfolk get the bucket-line going. The good Father himself answers Yelena's question, 'Hrm. Yes, there is sporadic fighting all over the town, mostly with individual goblins who seem to have run about on their own. I saw one drown himself in a barrel of fish, too busy chasing a dog to notice the lid was missing.' He breaks into a grim smile, and you'd laugh if it weren't for the bodies of several townspeople laying about the square.
He looks Yelena in the eye. 'The insanity that is the goblin. This seems too much for them though...'
Rogar Hammergun
If our group is back together I will channel energy to heal those in a 30 foot radius.
Rogar holds up his holy symbol to Torag."By Torag's might!!!", a burst of energy emanating from Rogar sweeps out in a 30 foot radius healing those in its wake (including himself).
1d6 ⇒ 5
Rogar looks at the bodies of the townspeople laying around. Having not met Father Zantus yet, Rogar addresses him"That is true sir. What would cause a small band of golins to attack a town like this, especially with all these people around? Normally they are cowards! They must be insane." Rogar introduces himself to Father Zantus. "I am Rogar, son of Losk, Cleric of Torag. What can we do to help?"
Old Guy GM
'Where are there any groups, Father? I'll be of more use preventing further damage than carrying a bucket here.'
'Desna bless you, Khalad my boy.' He says. 'But I can't answer that. As I said, I've only seen individual goblins...aside from the groups you and your friends have dealt with.'

Rogar introduces himself to Father Zantus. "I am Rogar, son of Losk, Cleric of Torag. What can we do to help?"
Father Zantus turns towards you. 'Well met, Rogar, son of Losk. I wish that we had met at a better time, but now that you are here, I will need your help caring for those townspeople that may need it. The need will be great, I fear.'

Unless something more pressing comes up Rogar will help Father Zantus tend to the wounded, "Lead the way Father...I'm right behind you."

For Khalad
For the rest
The chaos begins to abate as the fire brigade starts to gain the upper hand on their charge. People reappear slowly at first, but soon the square begins to fill with a growing buzz of voices. Most of the townspeople are asking some version of the same question: 'What just happened here?'
Torillan Ellandilas
As Torillan sees Khalad knock down the goblin, he jabs down with his sword, impaling the little beast to the ground. He wrenches it out with a twist, revelling in the gurgles coming from the creature.
Looking around, he sees Yelena gathering the townsfolk attempting to put out the fire near the church. After cleaning his sword on the goblins' tunic, Torillan rushes over to see if he can help. He arrives in time to hear Rogar finish his prayer, and a feeling of comforting warmth washes over him.
Opening his eyes again, he notices Khalad waving to the group, pointing north. Khalad then runs off to the north of the square, so Torillan quickly follows.
"Khalad!! Wait up!" he shouts.
Old Guy GM
You take your leave of Father Zantus, working your way through the smoke towards the White Deer Inn. The Inn is a three-story structure, with a ground floor of stone and upper floors of wood.
Locals to Sandpoint
As you approach, your attention is drawn to two life-sized deer, handcarved from white birch, astride the entyway to the inn. Any marvel you may have over the craftsmanship is quickly dashed when you hear a dog's vicious barking, and the cackle of goblins from behind the Inn.
The alley between buildings is the quickest way back, and as you round the corner, you can see the cause of the commotion. A goblin sitting on a mangy looking creature, kind of a cross between a rat and a dog, has just finished killing a large hunting hound. The goblin pulls his chopper from the carcass, as his mount rips out a large chunk of flesh, spraying blood. A half-dozen goblins are peering from nearby hiding places, cheering on their champion.
You can see a human male, hiding behind some barrels across the lane, looking on in terror.
Initiatives please. You have surprise, you may take ONE action, standard or move.
Old Guy GM
Distracted by the mortal combat between dog and champion, the goblins do not see you run up from the alley. In fact, they are too preoccupied with ensuring the dog is dead...that is until Gimble yells out something in their screechy language. When they turn to see who it was, they find you right on top of them.
Yelena is the only one prepared to for an attack, and her quarrel flies true, hitting her target in the gut, burying itself deep in its abdomen. The rest of you move into position, ready to end this next threat.
Round 1
Yelena 26: empty crossbow
Torillan 20: sword ready
Rogar 20: hammer ready
Gimble 19: weapon?, many angry gobs
Pietro 18: sneaking behind bush, waiting for something to enter the kill zone.
Khalad 18: axe ready
Goblin champion 8: horsechopper ready
Goblin Dog 8: horrific smell
Goblins 7: dog slicers ready
Gimble Boddynock
FIRST ROUND
Gimble steps forward toward the three goblins, reaching into his spell component pouch to retrieve a packet of red, yellow, and blue powder. "Iiluqinnge!" he shouts as he tosses the powder toward the goblins with a mystical flourish. A vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth from his outstretched hand, washing over the three goblins.
By casting from square I, 35, the spell should miss Rogar if he moves to square H, 34 or H, 36 on his turn. If Rogar instead moves to square H, 35, then Gimble will move to square I, 36 to cast his spell, in which case the spell will only affect the two goblins in squares G, 35-36, while still missing Rogar.
Oh, by the way, Gimble still has mage armor active, so his AC is 17.
Yelena Shukhov
Sorry, don't have a lot of time for a post this morning, so just bare bones.
Yelena casts hypnotism. Takes one whole round to cast. Since I don't know which enemies will still be alive by the next round, please have the spell target an enemy in the middle of a large group.
2d4 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
Affects 5 HD worth of goblins within 30' of target. DC 16 Will.
Old Guy GM
Yelena takes out another coin, spinning it in her hand to catch the bright sunlight still shining down. She begins to chant the words of power, attempting to catch the goblins attention.
Torillan's swing at the goblin "dog" goes wide as the goblin rider jerks the reins sideways with a violent motion. And while this is an impressive feat of riding skill on his part, the lurch to the right of rider and mount puts him right in line with Khalad's axe, whose mighty chop takes the goblin's head clean off at the shoulder.
Rogar moves forward, his hammer thudding into the chest of the goblin in front him, causing the little creature to let out a high-pitched 'oof'.
A spray of violent color shoots from Gimble's fingertips, washing over the three goblins. When you finally clear the spots from your eyes, you see that only the goblin in front of Rogar is down. Rolled a 20 and a 19, didn't think they would save that!
Pietro, seeing the goblins miraculously escape the effects of the wizard's spell, elects to fire at one of the surviving goblins. His shot misses, and he begins to reload.
The goblin dog snaps at Khalad, his teeth locking on the Kellid's arm before tearing free. 4 points The wound immediately begins to itch and burn, as something in the bite reacts with Khalad's blood. Fort save please, Khalad
The goblins to the left charge out to engage, while the ones facing Rogar and Gimble, step forward grinning wickedly. One says, through clenched teeth, 'Garskas a' cagalaman dorstch!
Speak Goblin
Seemingly enraged by whatever it was Gimble yelled at them, they both take vicious cuts at the gnome, only to have both stopped as if by some invisible force just inches from his skin.
Old Guy GM
Torillan Ellandilas
Recovering from his missed swing, Torillan brings the bastard sword back in a downward arc, aiming to take off the goblin "dog's" head...
Attack the goblin dog in square I30; IF goblin dog dies, THEN Torillan will take 5' step to J29
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Gimble Boddynock
Gimble grimaces when he sees the two uninjured goblins resist his spell. The frustrated gnome takes a step back, reaching again into his spell component pouch to retrieve another packet of colored powder. "Iiluqinnge!" he shouts again as he tosses the powder toward the two goblins with a mystical flourish. As he does so, the multifaceted sapphire set within the gold band encircling the ring finger on his right hand flashes with eldritch energy, and a vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth to wash over the goblins.

Round 2 Summation, or, How I hate Hypnotism, CR 1/3 creatures, and low Will save rolls ;P
The goblins step forward, their dogslicers raised for the kill. As one, their arms s-l-o-w-l-y lower, their jaws hanging slack. They begin a slow, stiff shuffle towards Yelena, their eyes never leaving the lovely...shiny...coin.
As a counter-point to the strange and sudden silence, Torillan's sword cleaves the goblin dog from head to jowl with a crunch, smashing it to the ground.
[ooc] End of combat. 800xp. You now have six goblins to decide what to do with...quickly.[ooc]
Gimble Boddynock
"Tie them up quickly, before the spell wears off!" Gimble warns the others.
Gimble tries to position himself so that if the spell wears off before the goblins are all secured, then he can cast his last color spray (as described above) on whichever goblins are still free without hitting his allies. In essence, he will hold his action for the next few rounds to cast the spell if the goblins shake off the hypnotism, if possible.
