Background
Khalad grew up in Sandpoint, living alone with his mother,
a proud, Kellid woman of few words, they were one of the
poorest families in town, though treated well by all but
the Scarnettis who saw them as foreign savages. Khalad's
mother passed away when he was fourteen, five years ago,
and just before the recent troubles. He has since worked
on the docks, growing from a large boy in to a giant muscular
man.

He was never the most adept with writing and lessons, but he
was always a freindly boy with a wide smile, who noticed alot
of what was going around him.

He left the town a month ago, selling his small hovel to another
dock worker, and travelled to Magnimar.

Upon returning the day of the Swallowtail festival, he his covered
in bright blue Kellid tattooes, a mirror of those borne by his
deceased mother, and bearing arms and armor.
