"I thought we were to collect the webbing for some extract that it contains? Ulisha seemed scornful of milking venom."
Yes, you've harvested that from the nest, the best supply, and also from the web spinning glands of the two dead spiders... But I'll let them tell you that in Character too ;)
The trip back to Daggermark is uneventful.. How do you wish to proceed?
Montgomery Hall
I lost track - do we need to do something with what we collected in Daggermark, or is it on to the next challenge?
Yes, you need to flog it. Ulisha gave a contact, but also stated that it may be worth looking for other buyers... which you can do with a Knowledge Local or Diplomacy check.

Zasha leaves the group, and goes deeper into Daggermark alone.
A wander through the city, some pertinent questions, a few coppers distributed here and there, a drink bought for an Elf, a meal for a gnome, and Zasha has a list of subjects as long as her arm. It's easy to narrow down though to two Subjects.
A gnome would-be apothecary, Ezmerlilly Vanderpoof, recently failed to deliver some promised goods to the Poisoners’ Guild. She needs something to appease the guild before they decide to drastically renegotiate their contract.
Though he has a reputation for being a fierce negotiator, dwarven merchant Narngar Ninefingers has run up quite the gambling debt. Debtors tend not to last long in a city of assassins, and Narngar is growing desperate for something he can sell to important patrons to prove that he’s worth keeping around.

Ezmerlilly is quite easy to find after Zasha's day out, in the so called apothecary shop she runs as a front for her more nefarious dealings.
When you arrive there a man at the counter. He's rather old, and walks with a stick. He asking is hushed tones about the vial he has just been given.
Montgomery Hall
the Gnome you are after takes her time finishing up dealing with the man. She waits until he has left, before moving around the shop, and hanging a "closed" sign in the door, and pulling the blind down.
"You lot don't look like you're after mundane supplies. What can I do for you?"
Montgomery Hall
"Spider silk eh? You could get me out of a right old jam."after taking a look, she adds: "I could run to 200gp for the silk. I'll even throw in a few flasks of alchemists fire and some healing potions. It's funny you know, there was a half orc going on about spider silk, and how it will be the next big thing not long back. Then along come you lot. I thought she was talking nonsense, but then my, ah, research, took a turn, and low and behold it could be handy."

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Ana and Leryn barely come into the shop, stepping to the side so the others can advance and listen to the negotiations. From where she stands, scratching the wolf's ears, she looks about the store.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Did anyone take appraise? What's this stuff worth? Maybe know(local)
Appraise, untrained: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (4) + 0 = 4
Know(local): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
"How much alchemist's fire and how many healing potions?"
Montgomery Hall
"Shall we say two firepots, and three potions?"
Ana Winter
Ana suddenly begins to show interest in products on the shelves. Not touching them, she starts scanning labels, Leryn following on her heels.

Alivar Sard

Crowe looks surprised at Alivar's suggestion, but follows him out. "Crowe would like to know what Alivar wants."
"Actually, I'm interested in what you want Crowe? Why does a man like Crowe - a great warrior to be sure - join the Pathfinders? What is it you seek?"
Alivar tries to look genuinely interested in Crowe's response.
Crowe Stormheart

Fortunately, Aliver has chosen Crowe's favorite subject - Crowe. He puffs out his chest and begins to expound. "Crowe seeks the biggest challenges. Crowe does not care about small things. Digging up old, dusty treasure? Pah, Crowe does not care! But what guards that treasure? The mighty dragon! The ancient barrow-wight! Crowe seeks to defeat these things, for he is a warrior."

I was really hoping someone could come through with an appraise value. 3 potions at 100 each, 2 fires at 20 each, and 200 cash comes to 540 gp. Sounds pretty good for a first level haul. But with this diplomacy modifier, I can't resist trying to sweeten it.
Zasha smiles. "We went looking for spider silk on her advice. The market is pretty tight right now, and we have two other prospective buyers. If you could throw in a little more, it'd make our decision easy."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Whether she adds more or not, let's take her deal and get to the next adventure.

"A fair trade’s a fair trade. What I've offered is fair. But I can tell you this: She was blathering about some important blade or sword or something she found. Moonsilver, Sliverhex, or somesuch. Kept going on about its history to any who would listen."
Ezmerlilly leans in conspiratorially."Well I have it from the horse’s mouth, so to speak, that she won’t be needin’ that sword where she’s headed.
The merchant draws a hand across the neck, making an unpleasant sound. "The Vessels Between will have that one soon enough. You just need to go out there and grab that sword once they’re through, and I happen to know where they found her little camp."
She can also draw you a map, which helps you get to where you need to be for the last section.

The only thing worse than working for a Galtan nobleman is working for two Galtan noblemen—in my case, Lords Tullivor and Sarvio, both of whom are happy only when the other is not. I made a tidy sum recovering their heirlooms, but when Laban Tullivor tasked me to steal a platinum chalice belonging to the Sarvios, I took my leave (and the cup), and they’ve been hounding me since. Now Laban’s deceased, and it’s rumored his mausoleum in Gralton’s cemetery harbors a treasure. I hope you’ll not balk at tomb-robbing. Remember, these are aristocrats. I say, a plague on both their houses.
For a small city, Gralton boasts an ostentatious cemetery, with the tombs of wealthy Galtan refugees evoking their lost glories.
Any prep you want to do on the way to Gralton?
Also assume you are fully healed, rested and prepared.
