Taro quickly accepts the challenge. "Well, that answers that doesn't it? Nice to meet you Chiyoko."
<"Don't be late, Taro Yamamoto, or I will hunt you down,"> Chiyoko answers as she walks away. <"It was nice to meet you as well.">
The cab arrives for Tree and the Saitos, taking them back to Yoyoji.
This time in the cab, Yama sits between Miyuku and Tree while she watches the scenery outside pass them by.
Miyuku looks out the window, anticipating what the opening ceremonies are likely to be like.
Taro hops back in line next to Kehanu. "I got us our first match, Mr. Suit. and I think she likes me."
Looking back at Miyuku she wonders out loud, "I wonder if there are any boys there that will be my age?" The question just comes out of the blue as she's never really asked about boys as of yet. It's true that their lifestyle kept Yama from interacting with too many young people her own age, but she never seemed to mind.
Nearing the stadium, Miyuku can see a multitude of monitors floating above.
Miyuku tries not to react to the question, but she studies her daughter out of the corner of her eye, barely restraining a sigh.
Kehanu crossed his arms and gave Taro a disapproving look. What have I gotten myself into with this young punk? "And when is it?
Finally, Taro and Kehanu are able to approach the front counter. "Names please? Also, will you be staying together?"
Yama lets out a small snicker before cutting it off by biting down on her lip.

"0800. Don't worry you can sleep in, I got this."
"We better sync up before we forget," Tree says, as the cab pulls over a block away from the stadium.
"Good point." Miyuku holds up her Comm switching the setting to team to synch with Tree and looking over to make sure Yama isn't too distracted by the sights outside.
She waves a hand, "Yeah, I got it already." She hits the button and lets Miyuku see it so she knows that Yama did it right.

"And done," Tree says, getting out of the cab. "Let's see what all this fuss is about."
"Yeah.....the sooner it gets started, the sooner it can be over." She sighs quietly as she looks around.

"I thought you weren't going to complain," Tree laughs.
"Trust me, I don't need much sleep boy." He answered Taro. Turning to the Receptionist, "Murimatsu, and no, separate rooms if you please. Same floor if at all possible."
The receptionist checks his computer. "I have a couple rooms on the second floor. Rooms 218 and 235."
Miyu snickers.
"I thought you weren't going to complain," Tree laughs.
She smirks her impish grin at him, "I wasn't, just stating a fact."

"So you did," Tree smirks, getting into a line with the girls.
Yama laughs then, a sweet girly kind of laugh.

Tree and the girls notice lots of cameras and several limousines parked nearby. The chatter of people is quite loud as they head towards the front entrance.
"What do you suppose the deal is with all the fancy cars and chatter?" She asks as she looks around.
Tree grunts. "The top ten, I imagine."
"Oh yeah....almost forgot about them. I suppose they would get all kinds of fancy treatment cuz they're oh so special."
"Well the media is certainly excited. I get the feeling this is going to be far crazier that we could possible imagine." Miyuku says taking it all in. "Just stay close Yama-chan.....please"
Taking Miyuku's hand Yama smiles at her, "Don't worry, I won't get lost." She looks around at all the people there already. She hadn't expected to see so many. She hadn't been around this large amount of people before, and the chaos of it all was a little unsettling to her.

Taro stands on his toes to see over the counter. "Good enough, I don't suppose you've got a buffet? I'm starving."
"Our restaurants are happy to serve you whatever you wish," the receptionist informs Taro.

"Glad to hear it!" Taro snatches a key and happily scampers off to find some grub.
The number 218 made Kehanu flash back to his time on the moon. Because that had been Linda's room at the facility. Before he could stop himself, he said, "I'll take 218 if you don't mind." After getting his key and seeing Taro bound off in search of food, or so he hoped, Murimatsu went up to his room.

Kehanu enters the room and sees that it is quite spacious for a room in Japan. The luxurious bed could fit almost two people. A gift basket sits on the bed.

Meanwhile, Taro enters one of the bustling restaurants and manages to find one table that isn't crammed full of people. There is one person sitting there: Chiyoko.
Taro takes a seat across from Chiyoko before asking. "Is this seat taken?"
<"You're currently sitting in it, so yes,"> Chiyoko answers. <"You're a strange one, Taro Yamamoto...">
"That's for sure." Taro chuckles. "I'm different from most, and I'm about to consume more nutrients than most would consider humanly possible. So I apologize in advance for that."
The apparent young man asks for several dishes without looking at the menu. Turning back to Chiyoko he asks. "Did you already order?"
"<No, I have not,"> Chiyoko replies, her voice slightly lighter than it was previously.
"Well, what do you have a taste for?" Taro asks.
<"It doesn't particularly matter at the moment,"> Chiyoko says. <"I do not possess the ability to discern tastes or textures yet.">

"So then you can practice the motions, chewing swallowing and all that." With a sly grin Taro orders his dining companion a Croque-monsieur.
<"You're assuming I want to be human..."> Chiyoko sighs.
