touche crosses his arms across his chest, eyes closed, and head nodding in agreement
"mm-hmm"

Dr. Destruction chuckles.
"I knew I would like you lot. So full of fight!"

The carrier touches down in a tough neighborhood of Southpoint. The hatch opens and Dr. Destruction points to the abandoned warehouse.

"I thank you for your service tonight. You performed better than I thought you would. I suggest you come up with a team name for yourselves. You’re an Omega cell now, whether you want to be or not. I’ll be in touch."

With that he leaves before you can say anything leaving you with Valerie.

She unhinges herself from Steven if he continues to try to hold her.
"I too thank you all for taking me out of the prison. I will remember what you did for me."

With that she vanishes before Steven can have her way with her.
Invisibility

Steven grins, "Easy come easy go..."

"Team name? What is this a comic book. Forget it, the less people know of me or hear my name the better".

He turns to his new associates, "So gentlemen, shall we rob a bank and spend the money frivolously?"

"I'm sensing a pattern with you and your women, Steven. Dames are trouble that way. As far as a group name, I get his point. If we're known to be working together, it might be useful. A sort of tag. Let the finheads know they've made a new enemy in town. Give them something to scare their guppies with before we obliterate them all."

Eclipse Dark moves to the abandoned warehouse and starts checking it out.

The warehouse is mostly empty with some old machinery that you may be able to get operational again (with some sort of repair skill). It looks like it was a metal working shop of some sorts. There is no one here. This looks like it would make a good hideout for now since you know your previous estates are probably under V'Sori control now after you were captured.

None of you had lair so you don't have a place to really go back to.

Eclipse Dark set about the task of preparing the base for occupancy.

I want to be able to restore power while still making it look like it is abandoned from the outside.

I believe Touche has knowledge electronics skill and can assist with that.

You do what you can with the Warhouse and in a few days after rescuing Mindjack from the prison a prerecorded message comes over the team’s comm-links that Dr. Destruction gave you all.

"The information you brought me reveals that there is a power source located deep beneath Star City that the aliens haven’t discovered. I need access to that power source for my own purposes."

"Finding it won’t be easy, however. It was created by the villain named Terron some years ago, and its exact location died with him. It is my firm belief that the Undergrounders who live beneath the city know its location. Persuading them to share this information is another matter."

"You’ll need a very heavy piece of equipment to make the power terminal useful to me. You’ll find it in the warehouse where I left you. Be sure one of you can carry it, or find another way to transport it."

You know what piece of equipment he's talking about as you found it looking around the first day. It's some sort of power relay. The relay weighs over 600 pounds, and looks like some kind of generator encased in a rusty iron frame. A thick but very short power coupling rests on a hook on one side, ready to be plugged in somewhere — presumably to Terron’s power terminal as it does not fit any standard connections. A single telescoping titanium rod is also visible in the machine’s top, recessed in a deep tube. It seems obvious this rod will expand at some point — most likely when the device is powered up.

"Something better be in this for us besides more fighting, or I will trash that thing. You got that, Doctor? I'm not your errand boy."

Eclipse Dark says this out loud for the benefit of the others, but he already knows that the Doctor is reading his thoughts.

Touche signs loudly and drops his arms hunched over at the thought of continuing to work for some other Super Villian he refuses to believe is more powerful than him

"Team..." <mumbles some gibberish> "Nah Mean"

Touche points to steven
"You, I approve of you idea of procurement of funds from the most vile fiend this planet has known. THE BANKS!" he said witb renewed spirits

thoughts:

.oO(should have never declined my credit application )

Steven turns to Touche', "We need to get this man some quaaludes stat. He needs to mellow out. Once we get this done we can hit a bank. They keep all the money in there hoarding it, ridiculous I say. We are liberators of coin, defenders of the dollar. Besides, if we don't get that loot think how many strippers and hookers will go hungry! Eclipse, you can pick our name, I don't need someone as nasty as you mad at me!"

Once the group is ready to go Steven hefts the machine on his shoulder. "This piece of crap isn't getting any lighter, let's get this done..."

Touche strokes his chin with his hand.... whispering to himself
"Liberators of the dollar, yes. That shall help me sleep better at night"

Touche looms in awe how easily steve has lifted the device onto his shoulder.

Hmmm:
.oO(I should ask stephen if he wohld like to be my minion before our little brotherhood disbands)

Steven is able to lift the heavy construct but even with his boosted strength it is no easy feat. He moves slow as weight pushed down on his shoulders.

There are several sewer entrances close by and you choose one where you can fit the equipment and head down into the damp, muck-encrusted brick and stone passages that wind beneath the city proper.

Each hour make Notice rolls at -6 to find the passage out of the sewers and into the hidden caverns which none of you have ever been. We will do 1hr at a time for each of you and then I need to pull cards >:)

Notice 1d8 ⇒ 4

don't forget your wild die.

Wild 1d6 ⇒ 3

What is the -6 for?

So we can have random encounters and get all FUBARed. Typical Capra stuff, he just likes to mess with us... :-)

-6 is because you guys have absolutely no clue where this secret area of the sewers are AND because random encounters rule!

I have Awareness. Does that affect the penalty to notice something?

Notice: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Wild Die: 1d6 ⇒ 1

awareness would not help with this that's more of combat situations with bad visibility modifiers. Just waiting on touche to roll.

After navigating the stinky sewers under star city Eclipse finally find the entrance to the Caverns!

After a few minutes your approached by a group of 5 men who are wearing gang colors of the Undergrounders gang. The lead one speaks for the ground.

"Valerie would like you to come with us."

"Who is Valerie, and why should I care what she wants?

Force field is up.

"Valerie is my girl, playin' hard to get remember Eclipse. She bolted on us when the good Dr. removed her restraints. Let her know that we will take a rain check. I am happy to know she is down here and doing so well among the muck and mire like a f!%#ing morlock. Once I am done with my little task I may even consider heading down to take a look for her or I might not, I am not the biggest fan of being jilted. Right now we have s+*! to do so unless you want me to drop this ultra heavy machine on your stupid f~@%ing heads, you will get out of the way..."

"Obviously, she ain't your girl if you can't keep her interested. What does she want to see us about? Does she know what we're looking for?"

"Well I was not given the chance to keep her interested now was I? Watch it or I'll turn you into a girl big man... Please, let's not get sidetracked here, the sooner we are out and done the better".

The Undergrounds look a bit confused as you two go back and forth.

"Uhh, She just asked us to bring you to her so she can help you with whatever your doing..."

"Lead the way, then."

Eclipse Dark smirked at Steven's threat.

Touche fiddles with his robes highly disgusted to be knee high/ waist deep in filth.
"You there subterranean goon, be a good sport and fetch me some clean garments we have super villainous work of the utmost importance and i cannot very well do them sullied nah mean"

Touche waves him off with a flick of his wrist no longer wanting to converse with the underlings

The Undergrounds lead you through some passages until you finally see Valerie and about 40 other members of the Undergrounds.

"Welcome friends!" she says warmly when she see you. "What brings you fine gentlemen down here?"

You see all sorta of weapons and computer terminals and such that many of her men are working on.

"We're on a job for Destruction, furthering his war effort. You know anything about Terron and a power source? It's supposed to be hidden down here somewhere."

Forget the beautiful woman standing before him, Touche gets a stiffie at the at the sight such a technological enhanced lair. Pushing past her and leaning over the closest henchmen's shoulder at the menial task being preformed. Touche is taking notes of how he wants to construct his lair when he acquires one.

Steven places the giant machine on his shoulder down for a second.

"Your appreciation for what we did for you is lacking, to say the least. Are you tapping into the power source the good Dr. is looking for to power this Lair?"

Valerie walks up to Steven and places a hand on his shoulder.

"My dear Steven you sure are strong. I am sorry for running off so quickly but I had to get back to my people. Running a resistance force against the aliens is no easy task you know."

She smiles softly at the group.

"We aren't tapping into any special power source but there is a place that we haven't been able to reach. An old drainage hole leading up that we can't access as it's too small. Perhaps that's what Destruction has you looking for?"

"Care to show us around?"

Eclipse Dark observes his surroundings in detail as he speaks to Valerie, letting his heightened senses take in everything.

"Really not to much to show. What you see is what we have, not much as you can see. Fighting the V'Sori is no easy act as you already know. We try to hinder their movements whenever we can."

You realize that she's probably the only one down here with super powers. The rest of the Undergrounds are normal run of the mil humans.

She leads you guys to the area which she mentioned earlier. It's a small drainage hole that leads upward. You will need to make the hold bigger to fit yourself and the relay up there.

Can i see through to the other side, i want to be able to see where I am headed and can I taxi the device to the other side of the opening

Touche elegantly walks up open, it almost looks like he is sliding into place.
"Hmmm"

Your not strong enough to taxi this item you would still require the Strength to do so. You can't see all the way up the passage and you know teleporting into unknown areas could be dangerous for you.

Steven sighs ignoring the Mutant whose explanation he finds non-credible (who wastes time being responsible with great power?), "Eclipse, Tiuche', can either of you open that hole up safely to fit this piece of crap machine up there?"
