Garuneh Lasandarman
"Well, frogs means it isn't a wall of water...we wouldn't hear them croaking underwater."
Garuneh sighs resignedly. "Bria, door; us, weapons. Let's hope it isn't water-logged undead."

This one's for you, Aldous
Bria Str: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Bria has to use force to open the door. After a good tug, the door is ripped off from its frame. Before her and the group is a room is filled with water, probably as deep as the outside corridor. The chamber is in an advanced state of decay, with a gaping hole in the ceiling admitting a constant trickle of water. The three stone sarcophagi in this room are almost completely covered in a thick carpet of moss and fungus.
On top of the nearest sarcophagi is a giant toad. It stares at Bria, Bria stares back. A quizzical look comes over the dwarf's face at what she's found. The toad licks its eye.
That's when things start to go down.

Tongue vs Bria's Touch AC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Grapple vs Bria's CMD: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
The tongue tries to wrap up the dwarf, but she is able to shake it off. It continues with its hypnotic stare.

The green squares are hindered terrain for medium creatures. For Gunder, swim checks DC 10 to move 5' per move action. Light is still being produced from Garuneh, I just shaded his square so that we know it is water logged. There is no mechanical disadvantage from staring at the hypnotoad's gaze =v).

Garuneh moves into the doorway to cast his spell. A burst of light erupts in front of the toad.

Splish, splash..
Aldous steps up around the corner and lets fly at the further frog (#2) with a pointy arrow.
1d20 ⇒ 2 attack; 1d8 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
C'mon Gunder...frogs legs! "
1d100 ⇒ 23 arrow recovery, high is good.
Garuneh Lasandarman
If this counts as swampy/marshy/boggy terrain, I get a +1 on Init, not that it matters. Also, I can't be tracked! :D
Garuneh moves south diagonally to strike at the southern water toad.
Clubbbb: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
for: 1d6 ⇒ 6
"That wasn't due to the water, I swear! I am a swamp druid and naturally dexterous in watery conditions!" the druid protests, wringing his free hand.
Bria Svartlensbinsbanedottir
If Bria can move without provoking an attack of opportunity she will five foot step to R37. If it would provoke such an attack, she will not. Player is unsure just how high the sarcophagi are.
Either way, she whacks at tonight's dinner one more time (large frog at R36).
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 for 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 damage

The water is 3' deep and is hindered terrain. No 5' steps. It would take 10' of movement to stand atop of a sarcophagus or a DC 12 Acrobatics check. And for future reference, this counts a dungeon terrain. =v)
Aldous moves into the corner of the hallway and fires an arrow. It shatters on the stone coffin in front of Bria.
Garuneh moves past Bria and in front of the large toad. The toad takes this opportunity to bite at the druid. He has the higher ground.

Aldous stows his bow, seeing the halfling founder in the water. Grabbing him much like one might a child, he moves him over to the corner.
"Man, you're heavy for a small person. "
"Grapple"? "Reposition"? What do we wanna call the halfling-wizard-flotation device maneuver?
Nebten

Aldous: Move action, stow bow. Standard action, Strength maneuver. Since you can't both share the same space, Gunder will end at P36. Also, I forgot to make it official, but Garuneh is considered "grappled."
The giant toad dodges out of the way from Bria's axe attack.
Aldous stows his bow, then moves Gunder in front of him so that he can see that action in the frog crypt.
Garuneh Lasandarman
..........GAH....right, so diagonal around a corner isn't a 5' step. :( Not to mention difficult terrain. If only I were 3rd level. Neb, I can use a Combat Maneuver check to break a grapple; what is your ruling as to using Surge for this check?
ElizabethArdoc
Liz tries to deftly jump onto the sarcophagus directly to her SE
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
She deftly leaps up and then stabs down at the bad toad who is trying to dine on druid legs.
MW S.Sword vs. grappled toad: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 271d6 ⇒ 4 +1 Due to higher ground, right? other wise I only have +6 to hit but still nailed it
Critical confirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
If I get sneak attack SA: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Garuneh prematurely shoots his surge into the giant toads mouth. It swallows the wave like a champ.
Elizabeth springs out of the water and onto the sarcophagus and cuts a deep into toad's back.
Gunder's eyes turn black as a dark void of space opens up underneath the giant toad.

"Beware the Flare!"
Garuneh Flares the last toad, and considers holing up in the Fountain Room for a week.

Garuneh rises without a ripple. A burst of light erupts in front of the last toad.
Fort save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
The toad is dazzled by the flash of light.
Round 6
The toad tries its chances on the slender rogue in front of him compared to the mailed up dwarf.
Bite vs Elizabeth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 181d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Grab CMB vs Liz's CMD: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
The giant toad bites and grabs Elizabeth and tries to swallow her down like a 2 dollar shot. 4 pod & grappled
Heroes May go!

"Climb onto the sarcophagus, Gunder. Or hold on tight at least."
Aldous leaves the halfling-raft by the stone platform, before stepping towards Bria and touching her armored leg.
"Smash the frog!"
