Bria Svartlensbinsbanedottir |

{b]"I'll take 'em if nobody else will"[/b] Bria says quietly.
She lines up behind Liz, blocking the door(D40) so as not to break her stealth. If anyone wants to pass Bria, she will let them, but if any baddies pop up, they have to fight her to leave the room.

Gunder peeks into the room but does not detect poison or see anything unusual.
Bria holds steadfast at the entry point.
Liz, Aldous and Garuneh proceed behind the illusion of a moving catacomb (kinda like a portable shower at a Halloween Dance)
Round 1
Liz Will Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Aldous Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Garuneh Will Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
You cannot help but catch a glimpse of yourself in the reflecting pool as you pass by. When you do gaze into the pool see a horrid, rotting reflection of yourself that slowly turns to murder everybody else in room. Your reaction to the horror before you is to flee, screaming, toward the entrance of the dungeon.
1d4 ⇒ 1

You three are worse then a kindergarden play. =v)
Aldous, Liz & Garuneh drop what they were holding in their hands, and flee reflection room and into the darkness from which they came. Their screams echo throughout the crypt. Gunder tries to follow, confused for this friend's strange reaction. Bria stays stalward at the entryway.
Leaving only Bria behind, she hears a screeching come from the far room. Suddenly, bursting through the dark portal are colonies of bats. The first group flies through Bria, causing her to momentarly throw up her shield to defend them. They wind through the catacomb, getting caught up with the adventurers along the way. A second colony follows after the first and settles over Bria.
Gunder Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Aldous Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Bria Dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Round 2
Heroes Go!
The fleeing 3 regain their senses and can act normally.

Garuneh Lasandarman |

"Bats! We have to throw something like oil at them, or use an area spell! And their wounds will keep bleeding," says Garuneh grimly.
He Flares the bats that flutter on Aldous and Gunder.

Your cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding, almost as though you sense a disquieting metamorphosis. Is this haunted room actually stretching? Or is it your imagination, hmm? And consider this dismaying observation: This chamber has no windows and no doors, which offers you this chilling challenge: to find a way out!

All of a sudden things get very strange.
The group frantically runs down the hallways, chased by the horde of bats. They run through the water-filled rooms, past dead toads and electric moss. They slam doors and split up, with the bats vearing off to chase new victims.
Liz runs by with a bleeding Garuneh, flailing their arms as a straight line of bats chases them into the electric room and the scent of BBQ fills the air.
Bria has Gunder on her shoulders and a backpack laden Aldous running up the stairs and then down as the skeletons pour down and slam into more bats.
A toasty Liz and Garuneh hurl themselves into water to put themselves out and are followed by a bunch of flambed bats.
Bria runs by carrying a large cake while Aldous pushes Gunder in a stroller and the bats are wearing chef hats.
Suddenly everyone, adventurers, bats and skeletons meets up in the central room and crash together, sending the giant cake flying which promptly smoothers the bats and sends the skeleton's skulls flying and impacting into the heads of the heroes with the sound of coconuts clopping and sending them into a much needed nap..

And with that post Liz, you win the internet for the day.
Gunder is able to hobble out of the path of the bats and heal himself to stop the bleeding. Liz leads the race out of the catacombs with Aldous in tow. Bria the brace stays and tries to fend off the itty-bitty bats, but is unable to harm them.
1 point of bleed dmg to Aldous & Bria
The bats continue on their way through the catacomb and then into the landing room. Hundreds of high-pitched squeaks echo as they then turn up the stairs and away from the party.
Gunder & Bria meet and he tries to tend her wounds to stop the bleeding.
Gunder Heal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Garuneh then finds Aldous and treats his bite marks.
Garuneh Heal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
It appears the threat has passed and bleeding stopped.

Ugh.. We are certainly getting very beat up. Some healign and recuperation might be in oder. However, we should try to bring the lost villager from above down here, he has been waiting a while and will no doubt be hungrey and thirsty. We have food and water for all fo us. Who needs the potion of Moderate Healing the most?

Gunder Undertable |

"Yes, we should get that poor boy down here before going to sleep. Lets check if those skeletons are still waiting for us upstairs. Maybe the bats chased them away."
Gunder will cast Guidance on himself, and then sneak upstairs to see if the skeletons are still waiting.
Stealth: 1d20 + 9 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (12) + 9 + 1 - 5 = 17

I know, I'm horrible. But at least now Bria can make an informed decision. I have no problem if Bria wants to stay in the door way. Alone. In the dark. By herself . . . probably knitting.
I didn't forget about you Liz, I'm just waiting on what the men are doing while you are becoming an undead master. Typical men.

Gunder Undertable |

Wow. This game is getting more and more surreal, while the players still don't know how to proceed.
Gunder casts Guidance on Aldous, Liz, and everyone else who asks for it, while wondering whether all these strange things around him are really happening or he is merely dreaming.
He figures he must be dreaming. He'll be waking up in his bed in Kaer Maga any moment now.
If shooting at the skeletons from the staircase does not yield any result, and Liz's plan also doesn't work either, Gunder will suggest the following:
"Maybe I have an idea. Is anyone of you strong enough to carry me?" he asks to everyone, but is looking mostly at Bria. "I'm not fast enough myself, but the rest of you might be able to run through the room before the skeletons intercept us. They don't follow us in this direction. Maybe they also don't follow us the other direction."
