I may have missed it but how are we calculating HP per level?

I just did max at first and then half + 1 for subsequent levels. Seems to be the norm on the boards.

Instead of doing the bold and italics for thoughts use the "" for speaking and the *for thoughts* I hate coding on a Iphone lol. this will be for out of character. and also hp will be full at first then half at the next level so for example 1d8 =8 at 1st then 2nd level will be 4. So your total should be 12 without the Con mod

BTW how was everyone's weekend? I am want to try to get know you guys a little better. I spent the weekend closing out school stuff.

Spent the weekend building a fence. Needed to come to work to catch a break. It was a nice weekend down here though (MS). Weather was close to prefect.

So Sli what part of MS are you at? I am in Fort Lewis WA for now. The weather here is not too bad, a little wet but not bad.

I found out a pipe burst at my rental home and today i get to deal with homeowners insurance yeah! i am in the SF bay area

I used to live in San Francisco but moved to Poulsbo, WA ~7 years ago and currently work in Seattle. High fives all around.

I moved here about a year ago from vegas for employment

I am from a small city (i use the term loosely) named Meridian. It's east central Mississippi. We had a unusually cold winter, even got some snow (which is rare). When it snows around here the whole place shuts down and people loose their minds. Needless to say I'm happy to see warmer temps haha.

Gaming groups around here a far and few between so I figured I would try playing this way. Thanks for letting me join in by the way.

I am in the Army & love playing this way. I miss having a group to with so I told myself this time around. I would get a group together online & keep it going .

I was in the army many moons ago, stationed at ft.bragg.

What did you do in the Army? I am Chaplain's Assistant and love it. I am also married to lovey wife of 17 years. I have one son from a previous marriage who is 22 and lives in Southern CA.

Originally I went in for special forces but I failed the swim test so They assigned me to the 82nd Airborne where I was a sniper. I have been happily married for 12 years come september.

Willow glad to hear your married happily. What does the spouse say about your Pathfinder/DnD hobby?

She does not understand the game mechanics and has no interest in playing, but has no problem with me playing. Like she says there are a whole lot of worse things I could be doing.

She plays when she can. I made the mistake of being "super DM" when I got back into DnD. I stopped playing during 2e the started up with 4e. Then had a Army buddy show me the Eberron stuff and the 3.5 stuff then I traded some old pokemon cards for the Corerule book of Pathfinder. My wife likes it when I am happy but hates it when I want to spend a small fortune on stuff. I like doing the PbP thing I started last year with it. As you can see from profile I had some stuff doing on that made me stop my DMing of some stuff. I enjoy the PFS online stuff. Let me know if you guys ever want me to run a game.

I work at our locale electric co op, East Ms Power Asc. I draw and update maps of our power lines and poles etc. I was married and in the process of hopefully reconciling. We a beautiful 1 yr old daughter named Emma and she already has me wrapped haha. I can't wait to teach her how to play DnD when she gets old of enough. My ex never said anything about me being into to it. She never really knew what was. At the time I didn't get to play much to show her.

My interest peeked for DnD when I was in Jr High, this was mid 90's. I cut my teeth on 2e. Still have all my books and the Forgotten Realms gray box set. I kinda dabbled into 3e but it felt too different from 2e and a girl had my full attention at that time. Fast forward several years later and i pick up 4e starter set and talk my friends and roomate into grabbing some beer and playing. 4e was alright but i didnt really dig the whole daily powers mechanics but it was fun. Then some other friends introduced me to pathfinder and here I am. I'm excited about dnd next. I haven't read any of the rules but just by looking at the star blocks for a few monsters and it gives me an old school feel. Sorry so long winded.

The Next rules are good, they play fast and easy but feel less compared to customization i like. I do like the return to non grid combat, etc. I will probably get my own copy of the rules. At my ripe old age of 42 I can say I like all systems. It depends what kind of game I want to run. I recently like the system neutral modules such as this one.

I'm really happy to see Wizards is embracing a system that allows groups to choose which rules to use, I think it's a smart move.

I grew up in 2ed Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Dark Sun and a bit of Ravenloft (usually around Halloween). I switched over to 3/3.5 rules a dozen years ago but didn't embrace 4ed stuff and have preferred Pathfinder/Golarion stuff instead. A few times I toyed around at running an Arcane Age campaign using Pathfinder rules but that died out due to lack of IRL gaming group interest, work and family commitments.

I would love to try out the Arcane age sometime using Pathfinder rules. I also got into Eberron about a two years ago so sometime in the future I may try to run something again.

Maybe I'll put some work into it and get something rolling as a pbp in a month or two... Before I do, I need to make sure I can actually make the commitment to keep it going at a reasonable pace.

I was reading your post I was giving thought to doing the Old Dragon Lance modules as pbp in the future. I do hear you about maybe keeping up with the game. It can be hard sometimes in life.

I had a dragon Lance game looked like it was played with cards. I never got a chance to play it cause I had no players. I ended up trading it for the pathfinder core rule book.

I dig dragonlance, I love those first 3 books, dragons of autumn, winter, spring.

Thanks, I wasn't aware it generated a number for you and I was trying to add my physical result and ended up with like a 400 haha

I think I'm gonna have to pull out of this one. While I love the premise, I'm just not feeling the flow of the gameplay. Good luck and I hope I don't derail you guys from having a great campaign. As active as the recruitment boards are, you shouldn't have a problem finding a replacement.

I too never got a chance to play. So many campaigns, so little time. I suppose my favorite character was Raistlin

Sturm Brightblade was my favorite for a while. Fistandantilus and the gully dwarves were fun.
