Only 1 month to go before GenCon. Toren is not the worst encounter, but playing with the kid gloves did slow us down a bit. Still I think we are on track to finish in time for Elwyn (?) to get his chronicle before for Gen Con.

When do you actually need the chronicle if you happen to be one of those with a deadline?

Hey guys, very sorry that I have been MIA. Had some stuff go on that I won't get into, but again I am very sorry to have impacted gameplay. To make matters worse I will be going on an extended cruise and won't have internet service until like Aug 7. Totally understand if you want to drop me, its a huge gap. Would like to continue, but its not fair to ask you to go on with my absence. Again very sorry. If you do want to keep me around, even after the extended hiatus, that would be great, but no worries if not.

<doh!> I left the house without a healer's kit. Did we collectively forget to pack one? Anyone know what the penalty on a heal check (for disease) without a kit?

Near as I can tell from that, it doesn't give a new saving throw, just helps with the next one. Disease doesn't affect you right away and I probably won't need to make another save until tomorrow.

I think, in PFS, diseases and similar things are usually resolved at the end of the session.

The slow acting ones are (resolved at the scenario's end). That is the case here, with the next save being on the 'morrow. There will be chance to get a healer's kit or a spell since the party is in the City at the Center of the World.

If you want to, you can <pre>report the scenario, and then go back and edit it as needed. That way he has credit for it, (and can have his character just sit back and not be active for the most part), but still be able to play him while there. Once we actually finish, assuming we survive, you can adjust the PP for him if needed, but he will get the scenario event code, and if anyone checks, will have the scenario listed as completed.

I kind of did so. I sent the chronicle to him, with one PP (not completing the mission being the other). We made it far enough he gets 1 XP, so 'tis not too far off. I will report when everyone is done (assuming you survive :) and he will be entered then, same as everyone :)

You gain the Mist-Tainted Template: Intelligence and Charisma are both reduced to 6, they gain a +2 to their Strength and

Dexterity, they become immune to fear, they gain a +10 to Climb checks (and a climb speed of 20 feet), they gain a +5 to Jump, Hide, and Move Silently, and they also gain a slam attack (1d6 for Large). When your current target is down you move to the next nearest target. Once battle begins, you will have to make a will save to stop. (which could be nasty with your reach :)

I am going to be starting a new game soon, hoping to help teach an old friend how to play PFS PbP while he is deployed. If anyone is interested in joining, let me know. I'd rather open the game to the existing player group for this one.

The game will be 4-07 Severing Ties, either Level 1-2 or 4-5, depending on the party.

Grundle would just be hitting level 2 in time for it...my first attempt at a multiclass character in PF. He's taking Barbarian next level.
