I've got no issues with you changing your Feat Stomphoof. It's your character so make what you want to play. I agree with you about that being the drawback to casters and the scribe scroll helps out alot.
If you switch I would suggest asking Megan if she is cool with you starting out with some already scribed scrolls. Which will save you the cost on them at the start!

Well Megan, you heard the man! :P
Could I start with a few scribed summoner scrolls? If so, do you want me to only have ones that I know (IE Scrolls of Mage Armor / Lesser Heal Eidolon), and if so, how many (2 of each?)
I am going to switch the feat regardless as I am going to need it (and I am gonna make sure I have plenty of Create Pit scrolls come time! :D)
Also added to my Eidolon (since you gave us full starting cash) a large hooded cloak, and a belt with pouches. Considering an Eidolon is an intelligent outsider and all, he should be able to use potions if needed (so I gotta give him somewhere to keep em).
And the cloak is to keep him out of trouble.
Stomphoof
I think I can see my way to allowing you a few scrolls to start with... you may have half a dozen, of which no more than two are spells you don't know (maybe you traded scrolls with another spellcaster, maybe you just bought them).
Ok so 6 Scrolls. Lets see what I might have been carrying around with me. I am going to only take ones I could actually use (Summoner Spells) and of a level I can cast (to avoid mishaps). Safety first!
2 Scroll of Mage Armor
2 Scroll of Enlarge Person
2 Scroll of Expeditious Retreat
Thankfully since Expeditious Retreat is on my spell list I can cast it on Nesser (since I can cast spells with a range of YOU on him as long as they are Summoner Spells)
Those scrolls ok Megan?
Stomphoof
Since I cannot edit the above post:
I found I have to declare where his claws are for his evolution, so I put them on his feet. That way he has his hands free (its a mechanics thing)
I also decide his knees bend backwards rather then forwards like a normal person to make it more creepy and to make his claws a bit more plausible.
My creature is going to have an odd fighting style, perfect for an extraplaner being!
Stomphoof
That sounds interesting - maybe he uses something like a Crane Stance and kicks - are his legs well-muscled as well as digitigrade? Watch out for his stealth, the claws probably clatter on hard surfaces!
Scrolls fine, by the way.
Once of his trained skills is Stealth actually :D He watches out JUST fine, and he will be a GREAT scout (due to darkvision, and ability to communicate with me telepathically)
I forgot to factor in my favored class bonus btw, so I added it in. I took +1 Skill Rank and gained Use Magic Device, for those times when I gotta use something that I aint neccesarily good with :P
Adding the scrolls as well, and I was tempted to make his fighting style (since he has a bite and 2 claws base) something wild and untamed. And yes, well muscled legs.

Taelin is a go, pending official review. Traits, spells, gear, stats all in place. Only thing there's a potential catching point on is the idea of the double-deity Cleric. Never did get word on if that was permissible. If it's not, I'll need an hour or two to do some minor shifting in my domains and spells, but it shouldn't take too long.

At 3pm EST (bout an hour and 10 minutes from now) I am going to a family gathering and will be, for the most part, out of commission till about 10pm or so EST tonight.
Course, I may get done earlier, who knows. And I got my cell phone so I can at least keep TRACK of things :) If you want to get the initial posts up tonight thats fine by me, just dont advance too far without me! :P

Just sayin! hehe

I'm done, save I've got too much equipment, as I spent over half on noble's clothes....the only other thing I'd like is for his bonded item to be a musical instrument, like a tin whistle, which is a wand. The wand would currently not have any magical properties. Megan, if you are OK with these slight transgressions, then cool. The way I see it, he could be a bit pied piper of Hamlyn, but with undead rather than rats...
It's spooky enough to scare me....
I'll flesh out the background some more, re the bonded item.

Taelin: You may worship two deities if you wish... just pray (to whom?) that they don't require different things of you at the same time :)
Tri'duinne: I quite like the idea of your tin whistle - but do you really want hordes of undead scampering after you? And if you want to spend all your money on fine clothes... well, I've had students like that! (One girl was amazed that my entire outfit cost less than 10% of the cost of a pair of boots she'd just bought.)

Well, as for the clothes, his background more or less sends him down that path...and yes I'm amazed at the need for 'designer' cloths and stuff in the young today. Where's my old army surplus great coat.. :) So really what I'm saying is can I get the clothes cheaper...It's just he is a noble elf, in the diplomatic mission, so he'd be mixing with the nobility and well to do's.
I'm not saying that he'll use it as an enchanter to control those undead, otherwise I'll just have to save up for a flute later, for no other reason than to fill the characters background out. It looks like the bonded item should be a wand, ring, weapon, staff that sort of thing in the rules, so I thought maybe a flute (really my preference, better quality of music), could act as a bonded item and would be like a wand then, taking the rules of it being a wand etc....
It was only then I went into flights of fancy with the Pied Piper bit...and I just thought that was a rather nice flavor to the thing. Maybe not the best idea when exploring hostile environments, (note I'm using typically British understatement here), but it gives it a spooky rather nasty flavor... Perhaps I'll only use it when I want to make the skeletons dance!!! Obviously it's more 'a things to come' flavour.
If I were making this a more useful/powerful character, rather than driven from the background, I'd have gone for different starting feats and traits and had him turn undead rather than control.....
But if I have to drop some items and stuff for the clothes so be it, otherwise he'll just have a normal wand type of item.

Just checking in! Seeing so many characters being completed is awesomeness!
I think Tri'duinne might have one too many traits...I saw three and I believe we only get two? If we get three then I need to add one! :D
I really think this is going to be an interesting group of adventurerers! :D
I agree. We just gotta get started hehe.
Nesser wants to nibble on things! :P

Will you allow use of the necromantic spells and feats in Osirion, Land of the Pharaohs, particularly the metamagic feat Threndonic Spell
Spells are: Boneshatter, Canopic Conversion, Sands of Time, Spectral Saluqi, Tomb Legion
I changed the opposition schools from divination, enchantment to evocation, illusion, as with the background in the temple university and the diplomatic background, they seem more appropriate. Spells changed to reflect this, but will need the Threnodic Spell feat to make the most of the idea of diplomat, charming undead.
Also just looked at the APG and seen the Favored Class option for the Wizard to get more uses of the Power over Undead power and gone back to the normal Necromancer's Grave Touch. As I hope to deliver Grave Touch by Spectural Hand in the future, provided you think as I do the a Spell-like ability can be delivered that way.
One last thing, I'm not sure if there is a Ustalev language, but assuming there is, I have taken it. If it doesn't exist, I'll take Orc.
Taelin
Taelin could potentially know any of the others. She worked with the Professor on multiple occasions in several capacities (bodyguard, assistant, researcher, extra hands). Perhaps Taelin and Silas have met while working with the Professor on one thing or another? Or anybody else?
I'm just going to throw something out as a general statement. I tend to find it worth having somebody double-check all my number-crunching and class abilities and whatnot. I get so caught up in writing the background or reading the relevant chapters that I forget to make sure I write it down correctly. Anybody up for double-checking me? I'll check yours in exchange.

Yes. Taelin and Silas know each other from their respective association with the Professor. Silas even consulted Taelin on ways and means to bind his nemesis.

Kinda makes sense for the Half Orc to be the odd man out :P
Just found one of Megan's other PBP :O

Tri, as well get to call the necromancer, was a part time student at the university. He will explain, that he saved the professor from some undead, whilst on a field trip investigating an ancient temple and burial site. In fact, it was this encounter that introduced Tri to the university, so he would have known the Professor, when he was at the university and they would have become acquaintances with a shared interest in history and ancient magics of necromancy, but from a slightly different angle. sorry about the punctuation...:) Some of you may Tri by sight, but he would not have otherwise disturbed his time of study.
Any who would be associated with the local nobles, might know Tri, otherwise he would be as unusual a guest as the half-orc.

Mkay. Taelin knows and has worked with Silas and Dillan through her connection with the Professor. So Terrick, Tri'duinne, and Corvellin(?) are odd folks out in terms of prior knowledge of each other?
Sounds about right. Given that I know LITERALLY nothing about Carrion Crown other then its horror themed and I am gonna be at a Will Reading, its all new to me! :D

I think Dillan would know Taelin, more for the simple fact he was there while Taelin was with the professor in Caliphas and learning about his Changling race. Though I doubt Dillan has any knowledge of that, especially since for seeing Taelin as an Elf would've caused Dillan to spend most of his time away from him.
The same would be for Tri'Dunne, just because he was an Elf, Dillan 'avoided' him and conversations with him.
Both Tri'Dunne and Taelin probably just thought him to very shy, though in truth its his fear of his elven ancestry. An ancestry that has only earned him ridicule and pain in Ustalav.
It would also of been easy enough to notice after several visitations with the professor to note that the points of Dillans ears have been uncarfully removed and have scared badly; though he does his best to cover/hide them with his long hair.

I like your respective thoughts on how some of the characters might already know each other.
Make sure that you have all read the Player's Guide for the AP and are happy with what's in there. For the record, any information in any of the Pathfinder Companion line is also fair game, also core books.
Everyone gets TWO traits.
Tri'duinne, in gathering your starting equipment, I'll give you a 20% discount on your fancy clothes AND I'm going to give you your tin whistle, just because it's a neat idea. Your spell choices/plans are also approved.
Anyone else wanting a favour before we begin, now's the time to shout out.
And yes, Stomphoof, I noticed you hanging around a certain ruined monastery watching the antics of a pseudodragon. Had me puzzled, I knew the name but not in that context!
Note that I encourage lots of in-character chat and interaction. The more your characters come to life, the better our shared alternate reality becomes for all of us. I'll just poke in bits of plot as the opportunity arises :)

Pseudodragon's are cool and I am amazed you let one be a PC :)
I personally read the players guide hence my choice of second trait honestly. I got everything I need so whenever the group is ready I am ready!

s I have to loose a trait, can I drop the campaign trait...I just see the racial trait Dilettante Artist as important from the characters background point of view, and the faith trait is just really important to give him more of a chance to control undead.
