Would you allow the Kung Fu Genius feat from 3.5e?
It changes monk abilities, and stunning fist, from Wisdom to Intelligence.
Basically, I'd like to make a scholarly unchained monk and well, stats are pretty tight for that.

@ Loup Blanc
I've looked it over and seems alright. Read about it and they say it might be on the higher end of the spectrum. Just don't go Minmaximus on me.
@ Annubis
Reposting is fine, and yes a less sizable post would be great.
@ Burnscar
Could you explain your reason or motive/eventual path of why you want a INT based monk rather than a WIS?

As one might have expected, with beasts of burden laden with all sorts of valuables and not many strong defenders, a deadly raid from bandits was an inevitable occurrence, for Jix this day came when she was a mere 8 years old, which is around 12 in human years. On a seldom and lonely night far away from civilization as the family slept, bandits descended from on high. Jix awoke to the sounds of her family being slaughtered as a man garbed in furs cleaved through her mother, father, and brothers in their family pavilion. The young ratfolk girl's gold eyes grew wide and she shook with terror as the man callously made his way through her family. As the slaughter went on, Jix used the opportunity to sneak to the back of the pavilion where she hoarded her own personal, pilfered loot and grabbed the first weapon she saw. A crossbow and three bolts. When she pulled the weapon from her hoard, the whole pile shifted and drew the barbarian's attentions. Jix could feel her heart stop beating in her chest as the deranged man grinned at her murderously and charged, swinging his axe at the girl. Fortunately, her petite form was small enough to slip under the bandit's legs as he struck leaving him only to rend a hole through the soft fabric at the back of the tent.
In an instant Jix was outside, through the newly torn hole, sprinting for her life, her over-sized weapon clutched tightly to her chest as she ran crying from the scene of the slaughter. But the enraged barbarian wasn't done yet. Hefting his monstrous weapon from the ground he pursed the young girl through the grassy knolls. Blinded by her tears the poor girl didn't notice the thick patch of mud before her from the recent rains and took a tumble onto her back covering her in mud. As she lay whimpering and gasping for air the bandit drew nearer and let out an uproarious laugh. He drew in for the kill and hefted his axe high when suddenly the girl spun around and loosed her bolt straight into the bandit's heart, half by accident. The barbarian stood there stupidly for a moment, transfixed by the arrow that burrowed deep inside his chest, then plummeted to the ground falling right on top of the girl. As warm blood spilled over her the girl cringed and screamed and struggled to push off the body only managing the feat after quite some time due to the man's muscular proportions. She then dusted herself off, took one last look at her burning caravan and decided to put her tears behind her as she made her way to the nearest town. Shirima.
In Shirima the rat girl spent much of the remainder of her childhood as an urchin, stealing to survive. Fortunately for her, several of the local prostitutes took pity on her and helped her find places to sleep for the night or provided her with food when she could gain none of her own, and otherwise just kept the girl company. It was from them that she heard of the goddess Calistria and took to her worship. After all she was the goddess of revenge and making a strike to live another day and this spoke directly to the girl's experience that horrible night. While Jix had once been a sweet and jovial girl, after the attacks she was never the same, the girl seemed to grow into a bratty thug, mocking others and getting in brawls being her favorite past times.
As time went on and Jix blossomed into womanhood, a group of traders passing through recognized the potential in the young woman immediately and asked her to join with their caravan. While Jix was reluctant at first she eventually agreed to join as a guard for the caravan for the sake of money, adding to her new hoard of items, and in hopes of gaining a new host of people to tease and harass. Through her journeys she has encountered all kinds of creatures including the reviled orcs and goblins. While many of the caravan's members outright refused business with such creatures Jix would have no issue marching into a village or camp full of the creatures and establishing a basic trade policy as her gruff mannerisms were well respected an acknowledged by the creatures. It was through this bravery that the traders came to respect the girl and even became her friends even despite the fact that she had picked up the nickname of "Jinx" from the other caravan members after they had heard of what happened to her original caravan so many years ago. Jix actually came to like the nickname and accepts it as a badge of honor.
As of now she lives in a trade cart in a caravan and is currently on leave of the crew until their next mission. It is likely that she is at her favorite establishment in any town at this moment, the pub. Looking to get a drink, chat with the local traders, or stir up some trouble.

Okay before I start building, here's a couple concepts. Let me know which you guys think would be better to use for this. (I always have too many character ideas and not enough games to play them in.)
Odom Fireforge
Male Dwarf Sorcerer with the Deep Earth Bloodline
Due to his bloodline heritage he has a skin condition that makes a lot of his skin look flaky and rock-like. Despite this people find him charming in his eccentricity. He talks to rocks. His best friend is his pet rock named Sylvester.
Sir Percival (Val) DuPont III
Male Halfling Cavalier of the Order of the Paw.
Val and his trusted mount Brambles are new initiates to their order and are enthusiastic to go out into the world and gain some experience and prove themselves as great dispensers of justice and bring honor to the Order of the paw.
Dulan Doombrow
Half Orc Rogue Driver. The polite and overprotective (he takes his carriage/cart/wagon/horses/cargo/passengers, and transport of said things very seriously) half orc carriage driver who someday hopes to have a carriage and transport franchise across the land. "I'll get you there." is his catch phrase.

@ Burnscar
Then I see no problem with it. But please limit 3.5 feats to that one only. I'd like to limit mixing as much as possible.
@ Jesse
Looks pretty good with a quick examination. Will be more thorough after deadline.
@ That Sean fellow
They all sound pretty fun to be honest. I do not favor one over the other.

That Sean fellow |

Annubis wrote:@That Sean fellow: I'm curious about this driver you have in mind though. Like what does he do exactly? I mean he obviously drives a cart but what does he do with it?Think of him as Jason Statham in the Transporter
He transports people or cargo. Whatever needs transporting really. He has a bit of a dodgy past and is trying to go legit and start a business.

Me'mori |

I'll be tossing my hat into the ring once I can pull a character together.
I'm currently thinking about Lia, a half-elf (spoiled noble brat)eventual (White)Dragon Disciple Fencer
or Laijiri, Human Diviner who is following an inexplicable call to see through the veil of the present to watch the future unfold.

Nox the Black |

so spellscales hardly ever appologise. And they either tell the truth or spin a tale so big you know they are blatantly lying
So. Nox. White dragon blood. Hues of white and silver. He is a very charming, charasmatic little whelp. Friendly. Skinny. Tall. Lyth. He doesnt really care what you call him. But there is something is his golden reptilian eyes that hint at something dark, cold. But he will never talk about it. Spinning a different tale every time if it comes up. Hence the nickname, Nox the Black.
His powers awakened early in his life. It surprised most of his family, due to the fact that part of him was also orc, unlike most of his kind which were more humanoid. Still. It was a good day. A fun day. A cold day.
His life didnt change much. Simple folk. Simple life. His draconic powers did help lighten the work load a bit. Which for Nox was a great relief. He wasnt really built for manual labour. But when he came of age. He wanted more. He wanted to learn of his heritage. His draconic nature and power. He thirsted for more knowledge. More power. So he left. Traveling. Always on the lookout for more information. The world was big. And he planned to use his time to cover all of it.
Well. There you. A bit of Nox. Just to get the creative juices flowing. I havnt updated the progile yet. Just using it to post

Actually, I know that I've voiced interest for a while and asked a few questions, but I think I'm going to withdraw my submission status here. I'm in a lot of games already, looking at opening a new campaign as a GM, and I just don't know that I'll be able to really commit to this. Hope it's a good time for everyone who stays involved, though!

KatGrey |

Hello everyone. DM Default, I'd like to submit a character for consideration: Laetitia Corvus. Everything should be accounted for in the alias. The Umbral Mesmerist is from the Occult Realms Campaign Setting, though, so if you'd rather not have that, I can change her to a straight Mesmerist. The class is more than interesting enough to play either way.

DM Default |

@ Loup Blanc
Good luck in your future games. Thank you for your interest.
@ KatGrey
That will be fine, I'll add you to the list.
Current Submissions
Jix "The Jinx" Rissi - Ratfolk Rogue (sniper)
Mahk the Scythe - Human Ranger
Gurcich Morbet - Human Druid
Jane Mays - Human Gunslinger
Jameco - Halfling Bard
-
Molly Mindigo - Halfling Fighter (Armor Expert)
Nox - Dragonscale Sorceror
Naele Almaton - Human Hunter
Laetitia Corvus - Human Mesmerist (Umbral)

Okay so I'll hold off with the characters I had before and for this one I'll try something else.
Meet
Zeke
The Half-elven Inquisitor (Preacher)
Ezekiel was excelled at his job and rose within their ranks. Till the one day they imprisoned the wrong person. A cleric of Milani. The prisoner never seemed to even try to escape. Ezekiel found that strange and became enamored with the cleric. Soon even sleep was denied to him were his thoughts so strong surrounding this follower of Milani till he could bare it no longer. He snuck in and freed the cleric and together brought the guild low and turned them in to the proper authorities.
When he asked why she never tried to escape, she replied. "Because when I first saw you, I knew that Milani had sent you to free me."
Since then, Ezekiel discarded his past and his name and became free of their bonds, and became a Preacher of Milani.
He's always smiling and sincere, but every now and then, there's this flash of danger behind his eyes.
And if you're unlucky, he lets it come out.

I'd like to throw my hat into the ring. I have two questions, though. First, would you be okay with a demon-blooded tiefling? Second, if we started with the Tales of the Old Margreve adventure, where would we be in Golarion? I tend to write the backgrounds up until the start of the adventure and wanted to know if you would still be starting in Ilsurian if you didn't go with Murderer's Mark.
By the way, if you do go with Murder's Mark, just based on the synopsis, it's going to be interesting to see how the NPCs treat this character.

DM Default |

@ That Sean fellow
Is this the one you're going with or are you asking for opinions again?
@ Adam
I usually nerf the resistance ability of the tiefling to 1 of the 3 for balance. Can't find the effects of "demon-blooded" to give you an answer on that.
As for the geography....I'm still not the greatest at Pathfinder's. Old Margreve can be adjusted to be an enchanted forest, and the party could have traveled together long before the first adventure. Don't really have an answer for this one, sorry.

AdamWarnock |

That's fine, I'll just leave that part vague and we can work that out later.
Demon-spawn (sorry, misremembered what it was called) is one of the tiefling variants found in the Blood of Fiends. You can find the variants here, http://www.d20pfsrd.com/races/other-races/featured-races/arg-tiefling, about halfway down the page. I've pasted the changes from the normal tiefling below.
Demon-Spawn (Pitborn)
Ability Mods: +2 Str, +2 Cha, –2 Int
Skill Bonuses: Disable Device, Perception
Spell-Like Ability: shatter
As for being nerfed, I'm okay with that. I am probably going to take and alternate racial trait that gets rid of the SLA since I tend to forget about it. I also tend to forget the resistances too, so that isn't going to be too big of a loss. :)

Otho Caecus
CG Human Brawler
All in all, not a great start if someone doesn't know him. Offer him a drink and a seat? His studiously neutral expression will crack into an easy smile. It does wonders for his face which, if not for the scars, probably could have been handsome with his blue eyes and dusty brown hair.
When he does fight, Otho is still very much a bully. Insults, humiliation, these are the tools Otho uses to protect others. Sometimes he takes it too far, but at least he means well.
A sour point, and one he seems to have accepted, is his love for the sauce. He's even learned a bit of distilling from his jail years to make his own alcohol in his spare time. Another point is his secret love of animals. They're just living their lives as best they can, the same as him. He treats them with respect and expects others to do the same.
One night, while he was fairly deep into his drinks, someone took a swing at him. Had he been sober he would have recognized the man as Bern Alder, a local fisher who'd had a long streak of bad luck with money. Every few days Otho shook him down and made sure it was public so no one else got any bright ideas about shortchanging him.
Normally Otho would have dropped Bern with one punch and moved on... That day, however, Otho didn't stop punching until bern didn't have a face anymore. Later, during his trial in Magnimar, the only thing that saved Otho from execution for murder was evidence that Bern had been holding on to a knife the whole time.Instead Otho was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to seven years in jail.
For his part, Otho was pretty shaken up by the whole thing. He didn't have an explanation for why he took things so far. His days were fill with back breaking labor and his nights were filled with nothing but time. Time to think about who he was, who he was becoming, and what his future held. It was the endless boring hours that helped him decide to become a better person. Now that he's out he plans to put that resolve to the test.

AdamWarnock |

@That Sean fellow: Nice backstory! Holing you get a spot :3
@TheWaskally: Thank you! The party will need a healer/support role. :3
@AdamWarnock: Sounds cool. What class are ya thinking about?
Paladin of Iomedae. Though this is more of the grim, deliverer of judgement paladin than a knight in shining armor. We'll see. That may change.

Annubis |

@zerceses: Freakin' epic backstory! X3 Hopefully he can stay on the straight and narrow XP
@Seth86: Yup should make for some interesting plot in game ^^
@AdamWarnock: Oh my a paladin XP we all best be on our best behavior! And I kinda always view paladins like that, cavaliers and sometimes fighters are more the "knight in shining armor" type to me.

zerceses |

Thanks for the kind words Annubis. I wish I was better at proof-reading though. Some of my rewrites were off and I can't seem to edit my post now to fix them. Oh well, I'll polish it up and repost later.
I've got to say that I liked your backstory too along with several others. (I don't see Molly and Otho getting along based on her view of ale.) Lots of room to mess around with character dynamics.
I suppose I should ask this too... Is craft (alchemy) best for brewing drinks or is profession (brewer)? As I understand, only craft skills can make anything, but I don't really want Otho to be too "book smart" by being proficient at alchemy.
