While Zethyris patiently waits for whomever or whatever it is to exit the tent he is almost knocked off of his when a very big mass of black and grey fur bursts out from the side of the tent. He quickly raises Clarisse and strikes out, scoring a vicious gash in the fur which resolves itself into a massive wolf standing upright and staring down murderously at Zethyris. It quickly slashes at him with a backhand swing of a hammer but the blow passes harmless over the half elf's head. Thorvald rushes in to slash at the werewolf but his blow falls short. Unable to aid his absent companion Skallangbiorn summons a spectral great sword to harass the werewolf. The towering Jediah charges forward and stabs the werewolf with his now enormous glaive piercing a bloody hole in its torso. Meanwhile, Rutilux tears a hole in the second tent to ensure no more surprises but finds the tent empty. Anastasiya floats overhead an fires a score of force bolts into the werewolf.

Seeing his allies being pressed, Rutilux spins his horse and turns on the nearest furred foe to strike with his flail.

Zethyris' skillful swordsmanship rapidly drops the werewolf before him but in defiance the werewolf takes one last swing with its hammer at the half-elf who takes the large warhammer straight in the chest (20 damage). Appearing out of nowhere, three more werewolves armed with great swords reveal their presence as they tear into the party, Skallangbiorn suffers a terrible gash across his side from one werewolf (19 damage) while Another's blade skips harmlessly off of the mighty Thorvald's armour. The third appears next to Rutilux as it stabs upwards with its own great sword just missing the gap beneath his breastplate but still tearing a vicious wound into his flesh(19 damage) before all three vanish immediately afterwards. Thorvald swings where the werewolf was standing but his blade finds only empty air. Skallangbiorn draws upon the the might of Gorum beseeching his lord to tear off the cowardly magics hiding these creatures from everyone's sight and a pulse of energy bursts forth from his person in a wide dome that stretches out forty feet away from him shattering the invisibility spells placed upon the four werewolves. Jediah steps slightly to bring the werewolf standing near Skallangbiorn into range and with a paired slash cuts two deep furrows in the werewolf's hide sending blood spattering everywhere. Rutilux's flail crashes down twice onto the now revealed werewolf beside him, battering bloody welts into its form. Anastasiya fires a salvo of force bolts at the werewolf attacking Skallangbiorn as well causing Several nasty burns.

Meanwhile...
Julien throws down a small pouch that bursts into a choking cloud causing one Worg to slump to the ground while the other bites Ineffectively as Julien pulls away a starts heading in the opposite direction.

Round 3
Skallangbiorn's howl of rage at being struck turns to a bellow of bloody victory as his comrades tear into the werewolves. "Hide no more you cowardly dogs! Final death comes to satisfy your curse!"

The cleric aims to keep the momentum and directs his spiritual ally to maintain a flanking position with Zethyris. Then he roars a prayer for holy favor to Gorum and is a answered by divine healing for himself and his allies.

Anastasiya:

Your spell doesn't allow you to pierce invisibility but you can see several auras clustered in an area to your left, varying from weak to moderate, floating eighty feet above the ground and each werewolf has a pair of intertwined auras of moderate strength.
You can spend time discerning all of the active spells or effects if you take the round, otherwise you have to choose between the werewolf auras, which are identical, or the group floating above the battle and still have a standard action. Four spellcraft rolls for the sky,two for the werewolves

Zethyris moves over to assist Rutilux, diving under the wolf's guard and slashing Clarisse's sharp edge cleanly through its flesh. The wolves engaging Rutilux and Thorvald begin to move as if they are going to flee but with a slight spasm they turn back and continue the fight. The first one slashes again at Skallangbiorn tearing a gouge out of his armour and his side (18 damage) but its teeth find only open air as Skallangbiorn sidesteps the werewolf's bite. Thorvald manages, even in his blinding fury, to raise his shield as he deflects his own werewolf's blade and his steady arm beneath his new shield pushes it away before it can reach flesh. The third werewolf continues to assault Rutilux but is unable to connect through Rutilux's ironclad defence. The last werewolf descends upon Jediah suffering a defensive wound by the stone glaive that the giant warrior wields. Thorvald responds in kind slashing in quick succession but his second blow fails to strike true before lashing out and trying to tear the werewolf's throat out with his teeth/fangs. Skallangbiorn draws upon his internal reserves as he taps into Gorum's powers again, this time to revitalize and rebuild his allies, knitting wounds and plugging holes as he goes. Jediah repositions and stabs the wolf attacking him . His glaive tears new lines in the creatures already injured hide. Rutilux continues his frantic battle with the werewolf smashing wounds that have already begun to heal.

Anasatasiya:

Some of the magical auras foil you but you can discern both an illusion aura (moderate strength) and a weak transmutation aura on the figure[/ooc]

Anastasiya hurls a handful of mystical energies that form into tiny motes light and dust that clings to the thin robed figure floating above the tent.

Zethyris continues to waylay the werewolf battling with Rutilux but the creatures hide is no match for Clarisse's enchanted Mithril blade that cuts and sears like pure silver. As the werewolf begins to collapse from the fatal wounds a bright red rune appears and flashes on the werewolf's back for a second before it explodes in a flash of fire and flames that engulf Zethyris, Rutilux, Sunfire, a second werewolf and Skallangbiorn (Zethyris take 14, Rutilux take 27, Sunfire take 14, and Skallangbiorn take 27 fire damage). From the sparkling entity a ray of energy and light bursts forth that flies towards Thorvald missing him by only an inch. The remaining three werewolves continue to attack slashing and biting at Skallangbiorn, Thorvald and Jediah but failing miserably on all accounts. Anastasiya targets the invisible spellcaster and attempts to peel away some of the magics surrounding her and manages to shatter the illusion spell hiding her appearance revealing The woman you encountered in the dwarven city. Thorvald tears into his own werewolf cutting it to pieces but triggering whatever effect caused the last explosion. The second inferno erupts catching Thorvald (18 damage), Rutilux (18 damage), Jediah (18 damage) and the werewolf he was battling. Skallangbiorn draws upon his gods energies and channels it into healing the party's wounds and burns (16 healed). Jediah continues to slash at the werewolf leaving lasting wounds that heal slowly. Rutilux moves to assist Skallangbiorn with his werewolf as he rides over and slashes away with his flail.

Seeing that Thorvald isn't including old Skally in any of his reindeer games, he turns his attention to the newly appeared Glitterdusted being revealed by Ana's spell.

"I'm not about to leave you alone with these things. I'll distract them with some bleeding - Clarise seems to cut through them with little trouble."

Zethyris steps to ensure he has a werewolf flanked, then stabs and slices with Clarise.

Zethyris waits patiently for an opening. Anastasiya's sister cackles madly at the look of surprise on her sister's face. "Poor little Ana, couldn't stay away could you? Why don't your friends play with one of mine while we have a chat!" As she pulls something out of her clothes and hurls it to the ground where it shatters on the stones. Within seconds the ground begins hissing and cracking as steam and heat force their way out and the ground opens up into a flaming hole. Jagged spikes and chains vomit forth from the hole, flailing about and latching onto the edge as coiling, moving mass of chains pulls itself out of the ground and parts revealing a desiccated form wrapped in jagged and barbed chains wearing them like clothes. Jediah's werewolf manages to slip past his defences and lands an overhand chop that manages to find his soft flesh beneath his skin (17 damage before DR). The werewolf harassing Skallangbiorn batters away at his guard until he overpowers the priest and forces his blade past, slashing the meaty part of Skallangbiorn's thigh (15 damage). Overhead Anastasiya detonates a fiery inferno that engulfs her sister before descending to avoid any magical mishaps her sister may retaliate with. Thorvald lets Wintersbane clatter to the ground as he pulls his namesake shield off of his back and gripping it in both hands proceeds to smash the edge of the shield down in wide overhand chops that hammer and ring against the werewolf, battering it to the ground. Thorvald know that this is only a half measure though considering a were creatures incredible resilience and healing abilities. Skallangbiorn steps back from the werewolf and chanting to his god draws forth a ray of bright light that arcs towards Ana's sister that catches her shoulder and left arm while he summons his spectral great sword to strike at Her as well but it passes over her head. Jediah follows Throvald's advice as he batters his own werewolf with the massive, flat side of his glaive which slaps noisily against the tough hide of the werewolf. Zethyris, seeing his chance to strike, moves in to bring down Jediah's werewolf as he slashes deep into the werewolf's back killing it which causes it to explode in runes and flames that Zethryis avoids most of but catch Jediah full on (31 damage). Rutilux pulls back from unconscious werewolf and fires an arrow at the woman but the arrow rebounds harmlessly against a protective energy field.

you were able to tell that she didn't cast a spell to summon the creature! she used a magic item of some sort that released it from some form of containment which means it cannot be dispelled only banished to its home plane. The creature is an extra planar entity probably a demon or devil by appearances
