Aurexil, a little too impatient and confident for her own good, pushes off of the wall and lets go of the vine/cable, spreading her wings as she drops to slow her fall.

Fly: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4

But her wing strikes one of the dangling cables, and before long she's tumbling down the shaft, desperately trying to slow her fall before she crashes into the bottom in a heap, groaning.

As much as AefPakka wants to get down as quickly as possible to help others, seeing Aurexil's crash gives him pause. His heart tugs at him to risk his own life to help others, but his mind tells him that it may very well make the situation even worse. He had no idea how bad Aurexil was hurt and could imagine losing his grip and landing on top of her, hurting her even worse.

The kasatha kept climbing down to a relatively safe distance before trying to drop with a tumble.

Sticking with original plan of climbing down to 20' and doing an acrobatic drop from there.

4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 6, 5) = 19 The fall knocks the wind out of Aurexil's sails and makes a crunching, wet thumping sound. The Bahgra wince in sympathy but keep their bows trained on the whole, while others begin the climb down properly cautioned against impatience.

Aurexil winces as she carefully gets up to a sitting position. She does a quick self-inventory and discovers, amazingly, that while she's bruised in places she didn't know could bruise, she doesn't seem to have broken anything.

She carefully gets to her feet and gets her glaive out, then looks up. "Ég held ekki að neinn þurfi að segja mér hversu heimskur sem var. Meta það ef einn af þú gætir plástur mig upp, þó," she wryly states.

Draconic:
"I don't think anyone needs to tell me how stupid that was. Appreciate it if one of you could patch me up, though. "

Aurexil nods her head at Neve deeply enough it could almost be called a bow, figuring that's the best she can do for thanks without waiting for the chain of translations. Feeling a bit better, she cautiously looks in where the centipede-thing went, glaive at the ready.

It takes a few rounds for people to get down, and once Neve heals Aurexil a bit, you peer towards the hole in the top of the lift. A whimpering sound issues from the darkness beyond. The Bahgra above maintain their post, watching the group on top of and above the hole as best they can.

Fraejia made her way carefully back down with her companions and found the hole where the Baghra had been taken. Her blood, or at least what passed for blood in her people, was boiling and she was spoiling for a fight now. Realizing she was probably the most difficult to harm of the group Fraejia decided that waiting to save the dogman was unacceptable, it'd take too long already. Instead she simply dropped through the hole and was ready to attack the bug if she saw it.

Also have darkvision so I should be able to see fine.

Peeking down, you can see that the elevator door has been torn through/ripped apart. Beyond the door, you can see an irregular hallway, the ceiling of which is out of sight from your angle. Towards the western side of the opposite wall stands a slender workbench with a cabinet set in the north wall A large door-panel, ten feet wide, covers the southern wall at the east end with red, spiky runes painted on the door's exterior.

The Bahgra lies in a heap on the floor in front of the door. The whimpering sound echoes through the hall chamber.

How hard would it be to get down from the top of the elevator to the ground? Not far enough of a drop to take damage?

From the elevator car, Fraejia can see the Tauslek on the ceiling above the Bahgra (as indicated by the brown box.) While the 15' high ceiling puts the creature out of Fraejia's reach from the elevator car, it luckily puts her out of reach of it as well from this distance (It could attack the squares around the brown square and under it, while it would take someone going under it to attack with a 5' reach.)

Yes, you may drop from the top of the car to the bottom without taking damage (it's about 7-8 feet.)

Aurexil shudders a little bit as Artirian's magic takes hold. It feels wrong, even as it mends her bruises.

But she doesn't have time to pay attention to that just now. Not when there's a... whatever this thing is to kill. She watches its movements for a moment move action to study target, focuses her draconic heritage on her glaive's blade swift action to activate Arcane Strike, and then sweeps her glaive upward, aiming at the creature through the open door.

Having cover prevents AoOs, so you're ok where you stand. You could step back afterwards to try to help prevent regular attacks.

AefPakka weaves his lean form through his companions and drops down through the opening, drawing his starknife. Hurrying to stand over the bahgra, AefPakka hisses up at the bug creature, his weapon held defensively in front of him. Although the sight of the large bug creature takes some of the fire out of the kasatha, he still lowers himself to a fighting stance, ready to dodge any attacks from the creature, but hoping to shield the bahgra.

While he does this, faint blue wisps drift through the air from AefPakka up to the creature.

Total Defense action, AC 22.
Also Aether Ties to it, attacks that don't include AefPakka are at -2 to hit. Up to 4 rounds.
Essence remaining: 1/3

Aether Ties:
(Su): By taking 1 point of essence burn as a free action, a vayist can infuse the air himself around with a rarified form of essence and send it flowing across the battlefield towards a particular target. The vayist chooses one target within 60 feet and creates a bond that lasts for a number of rounds equal to the vayist’s Wisdom modifier. As long as this bond is active the targeted enemy takes a –2 penalty to all attack rolls that do not include the vayist as a target. Whenever an affected enemy misses the vayist or makes an attack that does not include him as a target, the vayist recovers 1 point of essence burn. The vayist gains a dodge bonus to his armor class and a competence bonus on reflex saving throws equal to the number of aether ties he currently has in effect against all attacks made by enemies not currently affected by this ability. The vayist can have one aether tie active at a time, plus one additional aether tie for every 5 levels he possesses, but each tie must be activated and paid for separately.
