The warhammer lashes out at the same ratfolk and Vael rushes forward with the intent to try and heal the Jaskirri.

Oh no! That's not good! Claptrap yells as he sees the group of Ratfolk gang up on the Catwoman.
Rushing forward to get within range, Claptrap reaches out an empathetic hand and stabilizes her.
It wouldn't do anything to prevent the rest of the group from simply executing her, but at least she wouldn't bleed to death if they started to focus on us.

Move forward towards the group of ratfolk and cast Stabilize on the Catperson

Blekk moves up and drinks his mutagen, then quickly drinks an extract with his tail. His eyes bulge hugely as he does so, and he grimaces. "Oh god, that's so disgusting. Never tried this one before, holy crap. Tastes so bad...think I'm gonna...."

He barfs all over the table next to him, and wipes his mouth sheepishly. "Oh geez, sorry...that wasn't what it was supposed to do."

Then the barf coalesces into a swarm of spiders, and starts moving towards the ratfolk. Blekk blinks in surprise. "Huh. Okay then, guess that's an interesting result. Neato."

Move action towards the combat, standard for mutagen, burning a mythic point and a swift for Vomit Swarm. I'm then sending the spider swarm towards the combat. I can't figure out how to get a picture onto the map, but it'd end up in the square diagonally down/left away from Rav.

Who moved me? I had already moved myself. I also only had to get within 35 feet to cast my spell and there is no way I could move all the way across the room that quickly :)

Even though Ravboom's pistol threatens to send one of the ratfolk crashing back into the tables, it fights on... stabbing at Ravboom with a brutally sharp blade. Vael also finds herself under attack...

Blekk runs up to behind Claptrap, panting slightly. "Geez...gotta start working out more. Feel so slow. Hey, spiders! Go help Vael out!"

Somehow, despite not speaking Goblin, the spiders change course and make a beeline for the guy attacking Vael. They fall upon him like a tidal wave, biting him with their thousands of tiny, horrible spider teeth.

Moving as a move action, directing the swarm as a standard action.
The swarm is now in the same space as the guy attacking Vael, and since it extends into a 10-foot square, it's behind the guy so as not to actually hit Vael. How do I get avatars on the grid? I can't figure it out.

Palomia hustles around another table, drawing her shortspear as she goes. She's unconcerned with the blinded ratman for now; he wasn't even crawling in the right direction to flee so they could see to him once the others were taken care of.

Unable to quite close the distance between herself and Vael's attacker, the young woman skids to a stop and utters a single word of magic, flinging a small orb at acid at her target.

Relas, bounding forwards and over the gross mess of spiders that Blekk has vomited on to the floor, bites at the ratfolf - but cannot make contact with any exposed flesh...

Meanwhile, Blekk directs his grotesque puddle of arachnid spew to beneath one of the gang members... it bites and swarms up the legs of the appalled creature - who, distracted, fails to defend itself from Palomia's magic...

I assume the stabilize cantrip is able to insure that the kitty is not going to die? Also would it be possible to have an mini for the spiritual weapon? It will be a common spell for me.

Looking around for something to do that will not end in blood. Grabbing the chair next to her and sliding it towards the ratfolk while focusing on manacles.

Wood Shape So as I understand this spell I can make it into a shape of my choosing. And I want it to make a bar with two circles on it, each circle would wrap around the ankles of the ratfolk near me. I basically hobble him. If that does not work for you I can go with hold person that is a DC 15 will save.

Yep, I'll try and remember before you next enter combat...

This time, the group are ruthless in their ending of this chaotic brawl... Ravboom' gun sending his foe directly backwards into Relas' jaws and claws - badly injured, and smaller than the eidolon, it could only end one way... with the ratfolk sprawled unconscious beneath Relas. The other gang member is equally accursed with luck - falling to a combination of Vael's hammer and a ferocious assault from Blekk... momentarily, he is out cold...

...and when Vael immobilises the crawling, blinded ratfolk - flailing uselessly at the impromptu shackles that impede it so, the fight is over.

Combat Over

Three of the gang members are unconscious, the one assaulted by Blekk much closer to death than the others... whilst the other gang member is blind and restrained by Vael's magicks. The Jaskirri / Catfolk is badly hurt and unconscious... but is stable.

Grinning as the chair warps are wraps around the ratfolks ankles. Calling out to the rest of the group, "Move the unconscious rats to the other side of the room unless you want them to wake up with less injuries. And if you are injured you can come close to me."

Waiting until the ratfolks are moved unless someone objects. Kneeling down next to the Jaskirri before a small pulse of healing energy fills the area near Vael.

@Blekk. I get the feeling you would quite enjoy the Vomit Twin spell >:) It is probably my favorite spell and it goes so great as a potion with the Eternal Potion discovery ^_^ So many hijinks to be had with that! Trap room? Just puke in it until it jams from being flooded! Ect.

Once the fight is over, Claptrap rolls over to the fallen Catfolk and lays a grasper on her before rolling over to help Blekk tie up the ratfolk, lending a hand and making sure the ropes are extra tight.
Cast Infernal Healing, the catfolk heals 10hp. I figure the ropes are at a CMB of 27.

Vael's burst of healing washes over the group, returning them to rude health as they slowly catch their breath... and start to secure the downed ratfolk. It isn't quite enough though to bring the target of their trip here, the Jaskirri, back to consciousness - although she does seem a lot less weak than when her bleeding was initially staunched.

The ratfolk, most of whom are out for the count, are dragged easily to a corner of the bar... and make no attempt to resist Blekk's enthusiastic attempts to bind them. Tying them securely, the goblin can't help but notice that their limbs seem to be contorting and stretching themselves somewhat... and that their pointed rodent features are relaxing to a more humanoid visage.

Knowledge (Dungeoneering) or Heal DC12:
These 'ratfolk' seem to be shapechangers of some form - it seems likely, given the form that they adopted and the human / humanoid shape to which they are returning, that they are either skinwalkers or lycanthropes.

It is CL4P-TP's healing that finally rouses the catfolk bak to wakefulness, smeared in blood and obviously badly hurt, she still athletically jumps to her feet... and backing away from the group with blades brandished, "Who... who are you? You are not Skaadorn?"

Blekk's eyes slowly widen as the hamster wheel that is his brain starts to work. He backs up slowly from the ratfolk, as if unsure of whether or not he wants to be close to them. He swallows and speaks in a low voice. "Guys. Who got bit or scratched by these guys? Really, really hope they're just skinwalkers. Or else we're in a buttload of trouble."

Vivisectionist lets me use Knowledge (Nature) in place of Heal, which is pretty cool if you ask me. Blekk's kind of torn right now. On the one hand, the social stigma of lycanthropes is pretty crappy, and the physical toll has got to be awful as well. On the other hand...Monkey Goblin Wererat sounds pretty freakin sweet to him. And let's be real here, Blekk's kind of already got one foot in the were-thing camp with his mutagen.

"Nobody get bit, Blekk, or scratched." He toes the short sword that cut him earlier. "Use weapons, see?" He turns to the catfolk. "Rav is Rav, Rav is not Skaadorn. Rav not sure who Skaadorn is. Rav came talk to Kay Tricks about things best not said in bar over bloody foes. That be Relas and his pet longshank Palo, in fight, best be between Palo and her target, safest place. That be Vael and Knick Knack..." He whispers in a stage whisper. "Best talk to Knick Knack, smarter of two, less confusing." He returns to normal speech tones, which are slightly less loud than his stage whisper. "That be Blekk, no mind him, insane." He doesn't introduce ClapTrap, obviously still upset with the tin can.

Blekk smiles toothily and waves idly at the catfolk before turning his attention back to the "ratfolk". "Hmm. So you didn't bite anyone...which would mean that you're not trying to infect people. Guess you're not were-rats." His eyes suddenly widen. "Unless...unless you're trying to go incognito because everyone knows that only were-creatures bite and claw people when they fight so that they can make more were-creatures! Trying to draw suspicion away in case you got caught! You ARE were-rats! HA!"

He beams at the others. "Okay, so what do we do with wererats then?"


"Kay-Tricks? I think that is me... it's pronounced Kaetrix - and I'm pretty glad you folks turned up when you did. Those scum were no doubt sent by Lomrick to warn me off of my investigations..." Steadying herself against one of the beaten up tables in the bar, "Rav, Palo, the rest of you... very pleased to meet you. Blekk, leave the skaadorn here... the local militia will deal with them as they see fit and I'd rather not be around to give statements, etc. We should make ourselves scarce... we can talk whilst we walk".

Rav respond, but is already heading toward the door, putting his reloaded BoomGar away in it's holster after spinning the cylinders with satisfaction. "Lomrick need kick in keester... to lodge powder horn in good and solid before lighting fuse." Stopping, Rav picks up a battered black hat that one of the Ratfolk had been wearing. "No need in jail. Blekk, make sure put the stuff they were carrying where you can find, we look at later, maybe find clue to where Lomrick be." He casts a knowing eye at the resident thief, knowing he picked their pockets clean while tying them up, likely why he got tangled up. Then he jams the new hat down on his head, grins with enough teeth to scare most folks silly, and heads out the door. Now just need a long coat and some spurs

Unlike Palo, Relas seems quite eager to chat even as the group beats a hasty retreat from the premises. "It's nice to meet you Kaetrix! It's kind of a long story but most of us aren't from around here and Lomrick has a lot to do with our being here in the first place, so that's why we're trying to track him down."

He pauses. "I guess maybe for revenge or something? I'm not really sure, I mean most everyone doesn't seem all that worried about trying to get back home anytime soon."

"The spider thing is terrifying, by the way," Palo responds. "But no, it's just that...people seem to expect that because you've studied magic or can use magic that you're able to just blow things up on a whim or squish people's brains with the power of your own mind!" She waves her arms, clearly exasperated by it all. "Mine doesn't work like that - at least not yet! It seems like everything that's come to my mind up to this point is either aimed at changing the environment or acting as a boon to whoever I use it on."

She stops and smiles. "I do like that glitter spell that I used, though. Blinding our enemies? Now that's some practical magic!"

Blekk smiles. "Think you're missing the point though. You just kind of...have magic, right? Like, don't need to study or anything? Just boom-it's there? I mean, I had to WORK to get my drinks. The spider thing? Yeah, wasn't supposed to do that. Was supposed to make identical twin of me, and then we'd gang up on someone. Obviously...didn't exactly work out that way. Useful? Sure. But I had to experiment for like...six hours just to get there."

He kicks a small rock, hands in his pockets. "I dunno, any magic would be cool as hell if I could just pull it outta nowhere, I guess. Like, I'm constantly blowing myself up and giving myself tumors to just get a little further. You? You look at universe all nice and go 'Hey, can I do magic?' and universe actually says okay. So maybe you can't blow up things, or create bottomless pits that you then climb down and murder people in. At the end of the day, if we both get knocked out and sent someplace naked, you can still do stuff. Me? Kind of outta luck there."

He glances around, smirking devilishly. "Also, you're forgetting you have a massive murder cat made of magic. How do you overlook Relas? Geez Palo, sometimes think the magic mucks with your head like it does with mine..."

"That's...a good point," Palomia admits. "When we were stuck in Garsilt, I still had my magic even though we woke up without any of our equipment. A wizard would've been s*** out of luck without his book to study from."

She then gives Blekk a light slap on the back of the head, much like how Ravboom does except not nearly as hard. "And I didn't forget Relas! Believe me, I know he's the only thing that's stood between me and dying like...ten times over. I'm just sorry that-" she hesitates, actually looking a little sad. "Well, that that's the main thing people see when they look at him - the big scary claws and teeth."

Then the sadness on her face is immediately replaced by a scowl, almost as if she's upset with herself for being vulnerable for a moment. "But I guess that's just what we'll have to get used to, at least until we run of people trying to kill us or screw us over somehow."
