Lyra continues her performance to aid Halkale for one more round.

OOps forgot about the inspire bonus, but my guess is, 11 wasn't hitting either

Summary:
Adakos walks into the room and casts a spell. Halkale nocks an arrow. Lyra continues inspiring the party (you can maintain it as a free action, is there anything else you wish to do?).

Adakos speaks clearly to his companions, making sure both those in the room and outside of it can hear him, "I'm detecting the presence of magic here, both coming directly from the creature there in the corner as well as from the area of the bed, step lightly and be cautious of any traps or spells."

He then says, "Let's be about our task and find this box we seek. I for one do not want to spend any more time in this place than is needed. If we must deal with this creature first, so be it, as the Paracountess was clear that she did not care how it was dealt with."

Scimitar in hand, Adakos prepares for whatever his party decides the next course of action is.

Assuming that we are now at the top of the initiative, my turn should be at an end.

Abasi mutters "The Paracountess probably does not care about many things with regards to what happens here."

Despite himself, he does hear the reason in Adakos' words and shares his feeling of leaving as quickly as possible.

He walks towards the bed corner opposite of Lyra, and cautiously heads around the corner. He stops when he stands directly across from the creature, and waits.

I'd ready an attack, but I'll probably make a Full Attack against the creature next turn.

My assumption is that Abasi moved up near the other end of the thing. Halkale will move east 3 spaces.

Halkale fires his nocked arrow since it appears we need to take the box from the thing.

Attack, Ranged Bonuses,PBS,Insipre: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 12
Damage,PBS,Inspire: 1d8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3

Round 2

Summary:
Adakos walks towards the creature. Halkale steps to get a clear line of sight and looses an arrow which misses. Lyra continues inspiring the party (you can maintain it as a free action, is there anything else you wish to do?).

The creature suddenly takes to the air, flying at Halkale and braining him with the box it holds. 2 damage

Abasi swings the letter opener at the creature as it flies past.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

"Hey, watch it with that box you nasty beast!

Oh wait, we are looking for a box aren't we?

"He may be wielding our objective as a weapon, careful not to damage it. Look here you you strange creature, hand over the box and nothing bad will happen to you, Pathfinder's honor. Your mistress is fairly upset with you at the moment and she doesn't seem to hold your life in much value."

Attempting a diplomacy check to calm the thing down if at all possible.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

While continuing her song, Lyra moves up to the creature and swings her short sword.

Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Damage if hits: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
