As for the nudity thing, well I'm just giving Helios that idiosyncrasy. His father raised him to believe that you don't look unless you're "together". A peculiar ingredient I thought I'd add to his character to make him a bit chivalrous as opposed to a bardic lady's man.

I am honestly enjoying my time with this group, I just hope the Brynjar flipping out and unsheathing his sword segment didn't annoy anyone, as I said before my intention wasn't to disrupt the game in anyway.

I had a thought here, let's try to put as few decisions on the GM as we can, especially in regard to RP between our characters, as in this case. It will help things move along faster and the GM can focus on matters that are plot-related.
I agree with Elen. It will keep things moving better.
I also agree. Sorry for delaying things. My default setting is to defer to the GM, but taking the reigns ourselves to help get the group together and get the story underway seems like a great idea.
I realize my character's language barrier is going to eat up a little time. I plan on him mostly being the silent type until we level up and he can put a point into linguistics.

LOL, Brynjar should have paid attention in his linguistics classes, but he was too busy giving one of the students menacing looks.
I am loving the RP here. You guys give amazing visuals. You are handling rolls correctly in my view as well. Any rolls you make to affect NPCs I will arbitrate, but anything you use between PCs is up to you guys to figure out (as you have been doing).

I hadn't origially picked anything up because I had been thinking her Cold Resistance would protect to lower temperatures than you and I discussed.

Keolin, I was thinking of changing Elen's patron to Endurance. Would that be acceptable?
Edit: On second thought, I'll stick with deception. The Endurance patron doesn't give what I thought it does.

Sorry to hear about your son. My son is 4.5 months and going slow the 4month sleep regression phase. My wife and I aren't getting much sleep either so I understand! Glad to hear his fever broke though.
It's never easy when they're so sick at such a young age. Glad to hear the fever passed!
I am curious about the command undead ability that ragnar has. The oracle revelation says that you get Command Undead, which says works as if using the 'control undead' spell, which has a duration of 1 minute per level. However, the Command Undead feat says that 'intelligent undead get an additional save each day' suggesting that the effect lasts longer. I'm a bit confused about how this works. If it lasts 1 minute per level, it sounds like a good way to turn zombie mooks into temporary allies, letting us use them against other foes, then destroy them. If it lasts longer, then that suggests we get a bunch of undead following us around. Not sure how Elen would feel about that.
The FAQ says it's treated as the Channel Feat, which has a duration in days. It even has a work-around in that once Commanded you can order a minion not to resist an effect, so you can order them to fail the save against another Command the next day before the duration runs out.
I've played a few necromancers and know these rules pretty well.
As for having undead following you around, that's what this character is designed to do. I'm sure there will be some conflicted opinions about that, but I do have a pretty interesting plot based reason why it might be ok. These aren't the usual "monster on a chain" undead. Ragnar is a rather unique sort of necromancer.
So we're okay to nuke the one Helios just proned out?

Interesting post on ways to play a 'good necromancer'
For a lawful good version, I can see a couple ways to go:
1. Undead Redeemer- You study the undead and know their ways so that you may nuetralize them more effectively. You never create minions of your own, yet may take control of existent ones- especially if you knew them in life. Undead you control aren't hurting anyone, and perhaps you collect them somewhere safely away from the common folk, taking those you may control as needed to assist you. You seek to cure their condition rather than destroy them.
(I may use a bit of this myself!)2. Undead Destroyer- You study the undead and know their ways so that you may destroy them more effectively. You never create minions of your own, yet may take control of existent ones only to turn them against one another or destroy themselves. They are an abomination, and you do the thankless, dirty work to rid the world of them. You are the left hand of Pharasma, and your advice to her servants in hunting the restless dead is priceless.
This will be an interesting in-character debate.
I know this isn't really relevant, but I wanted to do a victory dance anyway...
I interviewed yesterday for a fairly entry-level IT position at a new company; I've been wanting to move to a new company for a while. I did so well they ended up offering me a job that same day as a supervisor supervising about twenty people doing the job I had originally applied for. I start on Monday. Hopefully nothing will change in terms of posting speed. I'm excited, not least because it means my paizo budget will get to go up now ;)
