oof, is anyone else having the issue where Paizo keeps logging them out? Between that and the site being down the last two days I'm struggling to get any posts up.

If the group is making a reasonable attempt at stealth, I don't think there's anything wrong with "this is clearly something's lair, I gotta prep my magic" and backing off down the tunnel a safe distance. If you take *too* much time the situation might change, but 20ish minutes seems reasonable.

Do people want me to cast entangle? It's a good debuff, but it can get in the way of melee action.

Well, Raleighs spear gives a little extra wiggle room in that regard at least. I would say go for it.

Actually, I suspect that these two "dogmonsters" are not the end of it all (two dogs is a pretty small pack), and remember we also think that there is the saboteur running around.

So I'm not sure if I should use it yet.

If Borumaru attacks one, then I would stack the magic missile attack on that. Unless he killed it, of course.
