Appearance:

Complexion & Physique:

While not particularly monstrous, Borumaru is obviously not fully human. His skin has a red/pink-ish tone that directly contrasts with his long, white hair and bright yellow eyes. His lower canines are sharper than usual, but not so much as to be a prominent feature… His most unorthodox characteristics are the tiny horns on the sides of his forehead and the slim, flexible tail that he usually keeps “tied” around his waist, under his sash.

Clothes & Adornments:

Despite his inhuman appearance (or perhaps precisely because of it), Borumaru strives to maintain a clean, dignified presence. He keeps his posture straight at all times and moves with precision and subtlety, and his speech is usually calm and collected. His hair is always tied in a topknot and his beard, while not cleanly shaven, is always well trimmed.

Borumaru’s wears the typical Tian-Min hakama, with a white shirt displaying the holy symbol of Shizuru embroidered with golden threads on his chest and dark blue sash and pants with no decorative aspects. Around his neck, hangs a collar of wooden praying beads with carps carved on each of them. His choice of footwear are the practical jikatabi boots typically worn by Tian-min farmers and construction workers.

Borumaru keeps his clothes, hair and body as clean and tidy as reasonably possible for a travelling warrior. He tries not to attract too much attention, but won’t hide from curious eyes either.

Visible Gear:

Borumaru is visibly carrying a long, curved blade and a dagger on his waist. His left hand is almost always covered by a metal spiked gauntlet. His chain shirt is usually worn under his clothes, but he wears it on top of them when travelling or expecting combat.
