Nice. Good start man! This thread is for talking about the game and such so throw this text into the gameplay thread if you get a chance. When you get an opportunity throw your character on your profile and choose an image for him.

Garbed in scale mail and wielding longsword with heraldic shield, Victor Morningtread seeks his fortune in the strife filled region of Chileax. Now that the city has fallen under Martial Law, the opportunities have grown more dangerous and sporadic. It has become challenging to get by in such a city, so Victor chooses to attend a protest in a local park to seek a solution to his growing problem within the city of Kintargo

Underneath the blank box where you reply on here is a button that says "How to format your text" with a button that says "show". It's tiny and a couple lines down. This shows how to style your posts and how to roll dice on this site. Internal monologues should be in italics, speaking should be in bold and quotes.

Can you give an example of what we would put in the gameplay for a dice roll?

This is how to roll.The reason you can see it is that I have replaced the "i" in "dice" with a "1".

When you guys roll, would you mind putting down the full roll like this.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Also when you guys get a chance, put up in your alias or profile a description of your personality and appearance.

Wait does the site roll for us or do we need to use results from an actual die? Also how did you get this symbol ⇒ ?

I think i figured it out. I need to write my stuff in word and then paste in the gameplay. Does anyone know how to change the font and color of text straight from the post box of the gameplay?

Nope that did not work. I cant believe i work in tech support. I feel like an amateur

What is the command for faded text? I was going to use italics for internal dialogues, bold for combat information, faded text for out of character if that will work. Sorry it took me a minute to jump in. I felt uncertain about how to step into the scene.

The text changes automatically whenever you press submit. The reason it isn't changing for you is because in the word. You have the number 1 rather than a lower case i. I also think its case sensitive so that should be lower case. We'll see if that fixes it. I'm not sure why you're out of character speech isn't changing color but it's really not a big deal. If you figure it out then that's cool if not then its all good I can tell for the most part. And you're good victor. All of this stuff takes a little getting used to.

Zack I can show you how to format it at work if you like.

Also I figured it out, the site rolls for you, all you have to do is use [d1ce=Perception]1d20 + 4[/d1ce] (except replace the 1 with i) and you end up with this:

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

In other news, my dice rolls so far can go f!!# themselves.

Im not sure what happened there but the second +3+2+1 is not supposed to be there and the 1d8 is for the damage

Sam, are we still taking turns in initiative order or are we just going when we know what we want to do?

I'm going to hold the line to buy time. With victor's endurance Im really not worried about an overland chase if it comes to that, victor can outlast 99% of humanoids. If you guys take off feel free to jump on baker he can take up to 700 pounds at a moderate pace and my bags plus the girl cant weigh more than 300.

Oh, you guys are out of combat. The prone woman cant attack and the host of dottari are far enough away that you guys can make an escape.Sorry I wasn't more clear. Marcellano located a potential an avenue that you all can manage while riding Baker or fleeing on foot. Just let me know what your plan is by describing our actions and discussing on the run in game.

Hey everyone! I will be out of the country without an internet connection till the morning of the twentieth. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't didn't know that the cruise ship didn't have internet. So feel free to post a conversation as you run through the streets of Kintargo to decide on a destination. Feel free to embellish and throwdown some posts fun posts in character. I'll be writing and reading for the adventure to be able post a storm on my return.

The scene is ready, Brad you are up. I was going to add the info from your knowledge checks as the first round of combat unfolded.

Sam let me know if the long arms extract is still active. It lasts one minute. If it is my reach is 15ft qnd if not it is 10ft and if they come in range i would like to make an attack of opportunity.

Braxton you can attack any of the three thugs and we will retroactively add the the damage to that thug.

Sorry I was so delayed everyone I have had some absurd hours at wot later and didn't realize we ha restarted yet. I think my last post brings my actions up to speed.
