Male Half-elf Assassin 14 / Obsidian Stalker

Well, the attack was against one of the tieflings, so I'll keep my post as is. Even if it applies to his minions as well, I wouldn't miss Eyebite.

Nayce's rapid action blinds T3 to his presence, but the other teiflings are unmoved and attempt to incinerate him.

T1 and T2. Hellfire (Ref) v Nayce. On hit target takes 5 ongoing fire (se)
1d20+16=32. Hits. 2d6+6=17 fire and 5 ongoing fire (se)
1d20+16=27. Hits. 2d6+6=11 fire and 5 ongoing fire (se)
28 fire damage to Nayce and 5 ongoing fire (se)

Ignoring Nayce, T3 concentrates on the wielder of Masterstroke.

Hellfire (Ref) v Dorvin. 5 ongoing fire (se) on hit.
1d20+16=25. Hits. 2d6+6=10 plus 5 ongoing fire (se)
10 fire damage to Dorvin and 5 ongoing fire (se)

The Mountain King stares at the warlord.

"Mine. That's mine."

Archdevil's Gaze (Will). Fear. Minor 1/round enemy in sight.

Amenephus launches a beam of brilliant light at the Tiefling.

Amenephus siphons some damage away from Nayce, but can't persuade the tiefling of anything.

The devils look at each other and then at their master.

As blood starts to seep from Nayce's wounds, a spirit figure rises from the rubble of the statue. Taking the form of Grajava the Shield Maiden, she floats over the companions and fills them with strength, her blessing drawn from Volund himself and given freely in this time of need.

Echoing Threat on T3. 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17 vs Will.

Put a 3rd shroud on T3.

Cloak of Shades. Until the end of your next turn, you gain concealment against all creatures and are invisible to creatures that are more than 5 squares away from you.

I don't know how you want to count my previous saves. One of them should apply to the separate ongoing 5 fire.

Nayce - you've now saved against everything and only took 5 fire damage from one of the ongoings.
Dorvin - I know you've got resist 5 fire, but you still need to make the save.

Nayce throws another loop of shadow around T3 and vanishes from the sight of all his enemies, his figure blurring even for his allies.

Ignoring the now vanished assassin, the tieflings move further up the room and ready themselves with blasts of hellfire for any hero incautious enough to come any closer.

The Mountain King himself moves forwards slightly, eyes moving towards the bearer of Masterstroke.

"My toy, I think."

As the dwarf refuses to bend to his will, the infernal dwarf extends a hand, reaching towards the weapon and its holder. As the warlord is pulled into the chamber, the tieflings open fire.

Archdevil's Glare (Will) v Dorvin. On hit target is marked by MK to end MK's next turn.

Many apologies - you are better off than you thought. You are right. Some of the attack damage is fire.

It is 1d6+6 plus 1d6 fire, so ...
1d6+6=8 plus 1d6=1 fire (8 total)
1d6+6=8 plus 1d6=3 fire (8 total)
1d6+6=7 plus 1d6=4 fire (7 total)
Thusly, Dorvin only takes 23 damage from the tieflings and is thus 10hp better off.

Guldarin is up.

Male Dwarf Invoker/Divine Philosopher 14

Guldarin is extremely busy being back at work, so posting may be a little erratic for a week or so.

"Well, I don't think that's very polite of these tieflings and their master. Let's see what we can do about it. I'm sure having someone up among them would discourage their activities." Male Half-elf Assassin 14 / Obsidian Stalker

Nayce focuses on defense, tending his wounds. Even a trained killer knows when to look after himself.

Second Wind. Are there any bonuses out there to surges/second winds from our leaders?

No longer bloodied. Save vs. ongoing 1d20 ⇒ 12

Not from Dorvin, I'm afraid.

Nayce gathers his resources for another effort, taking advantage of his enforced restraint.

The tieflings unleash more hellfire from afar, targeting Dorvin as the dwarf stands momentarily weaponless. Concentrating on the Mountain King, he is too preoccupied to duck.

Hellfire (Ref). On hit target takes 5 ongoing fire (se)
1d20+16=26 - T1 v Dorvin. Hits. 1d6+6=8 plus 1d6=6 fire (9 total)
1d20+16=30 - T2 v Dorvin. Hits. 1d6+6=9 plus 1d6=4 fire (9 total)
1d20+16=24 - T3 v Dorvin. Hits. 1d6+6=12 plus 1d6=2 fire (12 total)
30 damage to Dorvin and 5 ongoing fire (se). Resists included.

As for the Mountain King himself, he is laughing too hard at the antics of the heroes to do more than shift himself away from the warriors converging on him.
