I'm fine with this end. 40 ft is about 4d6 damage, which they should survive it - Especially since Belegar has more then enough time to CLW himself. The more important part is that they are out of the creatures reach - so if it wants to hang around it can continuously keep getting shot at.

I noticed the dmg was a typo. It was 18, instead of 8.

Boys, you better deal 10 more dmg, or the tree will make another victim.

Heh, it wasn't quite as obvious in the recruitment thread but looking thru the game-play thread helped out a lot since last names were given as well, in this searching for "evil in all the residences" that the town council, especially that shady alchemist, wanted the party to look into. ;)

So, the party is looking pretty good right now.

Samurai, Warpriest, Skald, Wizard, URogue. Very balanced, and front liners can make good use of inspired rage.

Now, we have 2 people who can heal. I've got 5x lvl 1 spells, 4x lvl 2 spells, and 4x fervors.

Belegar has 5x lvl 1 spells.

We will, however, burn through all of these pretty quickly. I, especially, can burn through fervors and spells pretty quickly being a warpriest.

Does anyone have a wand for CLW? If not, anyone against pooling our money to buy one?

It'll take a bit of equipment rejiggering on Uke's part but he doesn't mind contributing (150 gp each from everyone, I presume?) in case you want to change your character sheet back. Or possibly it could be made into a requisition request from the party to the council. ;)

The game was based upon 5th lvl PCs.

However, if you want to enter the final area, 'The Estate Lost in Time', at lvl 6, i'll make a few tweaks here and there to the encounters.

While i normally would say no due to it's used to anchor in terrain, i'll say you can try, per rule of cool, but vs regular AC. Dragging her down, which is likely your intent, is going to be opposed str checks to pull 5ft.

Thandir, you typed the damage is good aligned from rage.

Unless i'm missing something, the only rage you get is the inspired kind, which doesn't give weapons holy properties.

Special oil, smite, align weapon spell would work.

Btw Uke, how would your PC know you need silver or holy weapons?
Edit: All-tools, as far as i've seen them in action, are small tools, hardly 15ft long ladders. :P

Just reread it. The inspired rage rage power only works on melee attacks.

The silver part was more from seeing how effective his katana attack was; think someone else bought up holy weapons though- Uke mentioned enchanted weapons... although now that I thought upon it some more, it does seem kinda dubious for Uke to bring it up like that.

On the other hand, one type of "Marvel No-prize" style of answer that comes off the top of my head for why Uke mentioned "enchanted weapons" along with silver is that Qadiran Silversheen is known to be unrustable, so that sounds kind of like "enchanted magic" to him. Heh, not sure if you'd wanna buy that though as a suitable explanation.

And no worries on the All-tools- figured it'd be a bit of stretch there. ;)

Sadly, no. He’s not much for reading. He has a fighter’s kit, but with Dex12, 3/4 BaB, and penalties for improvised throwing weapons...I don’t think that he is going to be hitting anything without really good rolls. He’ll try...but yeah, didn’t really plan for ranged combat or flying enemies.

I am really tempted at this point to just throw Vaunu.

I did this once with a character in PFS. Was playing a half-orc barbarian. The enemy crawled up a wall and we couldn't reach it. So my character grabbed a gnome monk and threw him at the enemy as an improvised weapon. Missed. the gnome bounced off the wall. Good times.

Anyways...Vaunu has a good enough reflex save to avoid the worst of the damage. And besides...what if it works? ;)

Before Uke goes to climb the house, would it be okay for him to hand over his kunai and sling bullets (the sling itself should still be around the ground where he dropped it) to Thrandir?
