Glad he's going to be fine. Dehydration can sneak up on ya. We also have trouble getting our little guy to drink juice or water, so it's a challenge when he's having issues.

This may be an odd question but for the sake of consistency...are we assuming that everyone is currently defaulting to speaking in Goblin and, while speaking Goblin, we're writing speech in a fairly normal/conventional syntax? I was going for a sort of pigeon English but realize that's probably in the context of Common.


well thats a good point..hmmm well since the whole crew is a goblinoid of some type you for now it dose not matter how you speak, RP your hart out lol... but ill say most the crew speaks in common. They can fully speak goblin tho so it should not be an issue.

ditto re: the kiddo.
Also if you are unfamiliar with it, many of the mixtures to maintain salt balances, like Pedialyte, will color the kid's poop. Had some folks back when my kids were young thinking they had shigellosis because of the weird colors :)

Hi all let me say im loving the interaction between you all so far. Its a joy to read and to think of how mad your tasker will be once he sees you all playing interested of working for the most part. Ill get a post up tomorrow...sorry for the slow updates my contract is about to end and im looking at moving back to the usa in the next month or so. Oh also form.what kraleck siad. About Pc conflicts, well as a Dm or a player i dont mind it if you want to betray and kill each other thats on you. As long as everyone is cool with it and it evolved naturally from the pc interaction. And let it get you down of a player kills your pc im cool with you making a new one. And hey the killer might have to make a new character to since the rest of the oarty might not want to adventure with a pc killer so what im trying to say is. Its your game im just biulding the world and i hope you gave fun along the way ^_^

Personally, I'd rather avoid any serious PC-on-PC violence. That's just me, but I've usually found it doesn't end well and can lead to some Very Bad Things in the real fights. And especially in PbP, it just takes up time and distracts from what else we can be doing (potentially derailing things for days if folks just post once/day). And PCs killing other PCs? I've never see that end well.

That said, I put an emphasis on "serious". Some side scuffles as long as it's with a mutual understanding between players, I can see how it would be fun and help develop characters.

But that's just my preference and gobbos are a little different than anything I've done before.

Scruug will never kill another PC without an understanding first being reached, I am also okay with being killed so long as it evolves naturally. Seriously though, don't hold back your characters homicidal tendencies with Scruug, he can probably take the hit best out of everyone.

If he annoys you just shoot/stab/bite him.

Hmm...i can understand what your say8ng i guss its easier to have fun with player conflicts/murder in a ftf game rather than pbp. I have ran many game ftf were chracters begain to hate each other and that led to a few killings but it was all in good fun with friends while everyone here is a stanger and sometimes joyful intent cannot be communicated with words....

Everything I post here and in a OOC spoiler is out of character, everything I post unspoiled in gameplay is in character. I keep those 95% separate, that 5% that remains is there for when i have to just nope out of something as to not hurt feelings. Just tell me if you aren't happy with the way things are going and I can just switch it off and act like it never happened.

Though I do feel like this is the one kind of game where pvp seems really acceptable. I mean... Goblin pirates!

GM: what rolls do you need us to make for work, influencing folks, etc? Do you want us to describe daily activities like we just did or handle it another way?

On Day 2 and going forward, I definitely see Sloog sneaking around and exploring but probably not trying to influence anyone (no social skills).


Right sorry so for influencing people it's persuasion or intimidation and for your work check it's profession sailor. So depending on how diligently players work at their job each day will be how many bonus skill points you get for profession sailor each level. unless you don't do your job each day you'll get the minimum one point

Way too many teamwork feats to play with! Stealth Synergy isn't a bad idea. I like Escape Route, Outflank and Paired Opportunists too. Since we're going for maneuvers, maybe Coordinated Maneuvers and Feint Partner could be good. Burn It Down is very thematic but would take a while for it to be useful for us. Here's just a small list to think about...

yah the team work feats are great and they lend better for a party to work together.

So im currently working on the crew i need to get it all in order so i dont confuse myself of who you've talked to and where you've been
