Ok, I'm not actually sure if I'm cool with that, to be perfectly honest. Like, I was ok with the whole affectionate thing as long as it didn't get too weird, but I'd rather not have to heal every time you decide to hug me. Really not trying to be a jerk, but I'm just not comfortable with that.
The point is no one wants to hug Scruug. Just run so I can play up Scruug being frustrated that no one wants to hug him and we can just handwave the "You get away" part.
Edit: Or bash him over the head, whichever feels more natural. He'll get the point either way.

That sounds okay, Scruug might not know how to turn it off per-say but lowering it right below the point of damage should be enough to satisfy the concept. As well as not cause any OOC conflict because of a situation like this.

Yeah, I'm definitely okay with that-like I said, I'm totally cool with the affection thing, but I just don't want to die from it accidentally.
If you pump that talent hard enough you can deal 45 damage a round to a grappled opponent at level 12. I think I'm going to try my hand at agile maneuvers since I don't need to worry about all the typical ranged feats.
Give those enemies the 'ol doom hug of a thousand suns.
Huh. Scruug, this could actually work out fairly well. I'm working towards doing a lot of disarming (since then I get free sneak attack damage when I smack them with a waffle iron) so then we could do something where I disarm them, you run up and hug them while I shiv them in the back a few times.

Heh. In my all-kobold S&S game, the GM gives us a teamwork feat every even level. It works scarily well, actually.
wow i have never really looked at the team work feats as its a waste to take any if no one else is, but giving them a quick read they are awesome and add more to the game. i really like your suggestion to give them out for free every even level and ill do the same..hell i might do that in every game i run to add to the sense of team work.

I can only imagine Scruug going cross-eyed trying to stare at Carina while also trying to give the hobgoblin the stinkeye.
This is going to be a months long journey of laughs, I can tell.
I was happily surprise to see the other goblinoids around the ship too - as in, some or most of the NPCs were turned into goblinoids. Nice touch, lol! And more laughs for sure.
Sorry i meant to updare but my 4 month old has fallen verry ill. Ill try to get a post uo ince we get back from the hospital...i have never seen so much liquid fly out of both ends so fast...its wrong any hope its just a small infection that he will get over quickly but my wife is panicking
