Round 3

Wren finally notes that there might be something unseen in the cavern. He reaches down to his neck, to the mummified giant hand he wears around his neck. He yanks on the extended middle finger, casting See Invisibility.

If he spots a foe, such as a huge a!##&#@ dragon, he will cast quickened Glitterdust at the target. DC 21 Will vs. Blind.

Peering past the flames Wren does indeed see a dragon, though not a red one like he was expecting. Between this dragon’s jet-black scales run glowing rivulets of lava, and veins aglow with heat shine in the membranes of its wings.

Hovering in the chamber Wren covers the beast in glitter, making it easier for his companions to see, but not necessarily hit as four similar dragon's seem to be mirroring it's every movement.

Yup same as if you had SR, you can decide to fail the save.

Wren recognizes the dragon as a magma dragon. Temperamental and prone to violent outbursts, magma dragons are regarded by most other dragons as dangerously insane—an assumption that, more often than not, proves correct. One can rarely predict a magma dragon’s state of mind until it either attacks or attempts to engage in conversation. For their part, magma dragons can justify all of their actions—they just rarely feel the need to do so.

Wren knows that the magma dragon has a high resistance to spells though no resistance to damage from any sort of weapons. The magma dragon can spew lava in a 50 foot cone and crush an opponent underneath it's immense weight. While immune to fire, paralysis and sleep the magma dragon is vulnerable to the cold. Their favorite type of cheese is fondue. they like it melted and bubbly.

Farin attempts to hide, though it doesn't help. Blindsense. Shaken he hurls his dagger at the massive dragon. The dagger bounces harmlessly off of the thicker scales before returning to Farin's hands. Though the dagger is enough to destroy onee of the images surrounding the dragon. Were still within 5 of AC.

Kraygan quickly switches weapons as Tesharat realizes she is now visible and growls. the vibrations shakes the entire cavern as the walls crack.

Wren creates his magic party shack with intents to honor Rogzul for the service he has offered to the party. To be fair, Rogzul has contributed as much as any of them...and deserves a nice send off.

His shoulders hunched, Kraygan listens to Rogzul’s decision in silence. As his companions offers words of understanding and farewell, he lowers his helm to cover his face, turns and stomps away to tend to Haggis. Saying goodbye to Rogzul is just too hard for him.

He’s angry. It’s an emotion he normally saves for battle, but the bile of rage is never very far. It’s kept him going when he might have otherwise crawled up in a ball and wept.

Heading west in the mountains caverns the ground seems to sharply slope upward as the next area seems separated by several sets of double doors to keep out the smoke, noise, and smell of the forges below. The doors are made of metal and carved with images of giants conquering lesser races.

Though locked and guarded the group is able to make quick work out of the pair of lesser fire giants as Farin unlocks the doors to the Royal Quarters. Beyond the entrance sprawls the temple complex and royal quarters, where the highest-ranked and most powerful fire giants reside, along with any visiting honored guests. The floors rise so sharp that it looks to lead near the volcano's crater itself.

The ceilings in this part of Ashpeak are never less than 20 feet high, although the walls in this part of Ashpeak are left natural for the most part, the appointments in this level are more lavish than in the rest of the complex. M Elf Age: 252 or so

Geezo. This book is one huge huge crawl. Wow. I thought we were close to done...but no...not at all.

Wren follows well behind the Master of Stables, floating as high as he can to the ceiling.

"I guess I assumed the Home of the Fire Giant King would be big, but this is big big. This place never ends. I'm surprised there aren't more rest stations for the giants passing through. This place is huge," Wren grouses as he passes along magical protections to others.

In his left hand, he holds his new ruby trinket.

Extended Heroism to Krayhoff, Farkeg, Jorhoof, & Wren.

"Rest stations? We just slept, elf! But this place is a bit... spread out."

Before things get too adventurous, Jorgan casts a few spells.
