Point of order: for Outsiders and Humanoids, you need to specify a subtype for bane. Not an issue here since Valgrim correctly identified the belker as an elemental, but as the player of a knowledge-challenged Inquisitor, I know this can be a sticky wicket. LOL

Both of Valgrim's shots miss, though the second not by much!

Also, I presume Valgrim does not want to provoke, so he should not five-foot forward; as the belker has reach. (Target AC is 20, so even without cover his shots will not hit.)

Tall bookcases fill this impressive chamber; however, they are less than half full, as though someone plucked select volumes off the shelf and relocated them elsewhere. The elaborate fresco on the ceiling depicts devotees of Irori in meditation. Wisps of incense wind through the scene like a fanciful ribbon of smoke.
